Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold UK Release

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold in green

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: A New Green Colour and Potential Upgrades

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is set to launch next month in the UK, and it looks like Google is doubling down on its commitment to green. After introducing a light green ‘Jade’ variant of last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the new model looks set to feature a ‘Pine’ version. However, to call this a “brand new” colour would be an exaggeration, as it is basically the same as the previous year’s model.

The combination of a bold, pastel-like green and gold trim is truly gorgeous, and befitting of what looks set to be a very expensive device. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will likely compete with other high-end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Apple iPhone Ultra.

Potential Upgrades and Features

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold may also feature a revamped rear camera module, which could be for a good reason. The entire module itself is significantly narrower, with the flash now located next to the other lenses rather than outside of them and much larger than usual. This could be related to the much-teased ‘Pixel Glow’ lights, which have been widely rumoured to feature RGB lighting on the back of the Pixel 11 series.

A significant under-the-hood upgrade could also be on the way, with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold potentially featuring a MediaTek TA-SAR v2 cellular modem. This suggests that Google will introduce it within its upcoming Tensor G6 chipset, ditching the Samsung Exynos models we’ve seen in past generations. This could result in a more reliable service and a potential battery life boost, even if Google doesn’t increase the 10 Pro Fold’s 5015mAh capacity.

Conclusion

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is set to be a highly competitive device in the UK market, with its new green colour and potential upgrades. While the colour may not be entirely new, the device’s features and specifications make it an exciting release. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will likely be compared to other high-end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Apple Watch Series 10, as well as tablets like the iPad Air M2.

Google Pixel 11 Pro: Is Pixel Glow Enough?

Google Pixel 11 Pro: A New Era for Smartphones?

Google has recently released a teaser video for the upcoming Pixel 11 series, set to be featured at Made by Google 2026 on 12 August. The video showcases the various Google services that many of us use, including Gmail, Google Maps, and Gemini, before drawing the conclusion that the next logical step is to buy a Google Pixel phone.

The video also gives us a glimpse of the Google Pixel 11 Pro‘s silhouette, including its signature camera bar and the highly-anticipated ‘Pixel Glow’ feature. This feature appears to be an advanced LED notification system, with the camera flash lit up in multiple colours.

Pixel Glow: A Game-Changer or a Gimmick?

The Pixel Glow feature has been heavily leaked, and this is our best official look at it yet. However, it’s worth noting that this feature is set to replace the thermometer that was introduced with the Google Pixel 8 Pro. The thermometer allowed users to measure the temperature of everyday objects and people using the dedicated infrared sensor.

While some may find the Pixel Glow feature useful, others may see it as a gimmick. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, for example, employs its own ‘Glow’ system, which has supplied various forms of animated indicators and timers over the years. It remains to be seen whether Google’s implementation will be able to match this.

A Comparison with Rivals

In comparison to other smartphones on the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, the Google Pixel 11 Pro’s Pixel Glow feature may not be enough to set it apart. The Samsung Galaxy S25, for example, boasts a large 6.8-inch display and a powerful Exynos 2400 chipset, while the Apple iPhone 14 Pro features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display and a powerful A16 Bionic chip.

Meanwhile, the iPad Air M2 and the Apple Watch Series 10 offer a range of features that may appeal to those looking for a more integrated ecosystem. The iPad Air M2, for example, features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display and a powerful M2 chip, while the Apple Watch Series 10 boasts a range of health and fitness features, including a built-in ECG and GPS.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while the Google Pixel 11 Pro’s Pixel Glow feature may be a unique selling point, it’s unclear whether it will be enough to sway consumers. With the rise of smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, as well as the increasing popularity of devices like the iPad Air M2 and the Apple Watch Series 10, Google will need to do more to convince consumers that the Pixel 11 Pro is the right choice for them.

Design and Display

According to recent leaks, the Google Pixel 11 series will feature minor design changes, with a smaller bezel around the screen and an all-glass camera bar. The phone is also expected to be 0.1mm thinner than its predecessor. The display is likely to be a high-resolution OLED panel, possibly using Samsung Display‘s top-of-the-line M16 OLED panel, which will provide improved brightness, colour accuracy, and refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy S26 range, for example, has a similar display, but the Google Pixel 11 series is expected to surpass it in terms of quality.

Performance

The Google Pixel 11 series will be powered by the new Tensor G6 chipset, which is expected to provide a significant boost in performance. The chip will be made with a more efficient 2nm process, which could have huge implications for daily performance. The Tensor G6 will also feature Arm’s latest C1 Ultra core, which can rack up a clock speed of 4.11GHz. Additionally, the phone will come with a new MediaTek modem, which will provide faster network speeds and better energy efficiency. The Apple iPhone 18, on the other hand, is expected to feature a similar modem, but the Google Pixel 11 series is likely to have an edge in terms of performance.

Features

The Google Pixel 11 series will feature a new feature called Pixel Glow, which uses subtle light and colour on the back of the device to inform users of important activity. The feature is expected to be similar to Nothing’s Glyph lights and will help users have a healthier relationship with their smartphone. The phone will also feature a removable battery, which will be a welcome addition for power users. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, for example, has a similar feature, but the Google Pixel 11 series is expected to have a more advanced implementation.

Software

The Google Pixel 11 series will run on Android 17, which will provide a range of new features and improvements. The phone will feature a ‘Speak-to-Tweak’ feature, which allows users to make voice-based adjustments to their photos. The phone will also feature a ‘Sketch-to-Image’ tool, which converts rough sketches into detailed images. The Google Pixel 11 series will also include a range of always-on health monitoring tools, thanks to the nanoTPU technology embedded within the Tensor G6 chip. Google Pixel 11 Simplifies Daily Tasks

The Google Pixel 11: A New Era of Convenience

The Google Pixel 11 has introduced a small yet significant tweak that could revolutionize your daily interactions. Following the Made by Google event, many were skeptical about the Pixel 11 series, wondering if it had anything new to offer. However, one easy-to-miss addition is the updated NFC tag, which has been repositioned from the center of the device in the Google Pixel 10 series to the top of the Pixel 11.

This change may seem minor, but it could make a big difference in your daily life. No longer will you have to struggle to find the sweet spot where your phone’s NFC point can interact with a shop or stall’s payment point. The Pixel 11 goes some way to mitigating this issue, making it quicker and smoother for time-sensitive taps like going through public transport barriers.

Tap to Share: A Game-Changer

The repositioned NFC tag is also set to optimize a new feature that has been rumored since last year: Tap to Share. This feature, similar to Apple’s AirDrop on iOS devices such as the iPhone 14 or iPad Air M2, allows you to exchange contact information, photos, videos, and more simply by tapping your phone to another. It works via the Quick Share framework and is starting out on Pixel devices (Pixel 6 onwards), with plans to expand to other Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S25, by the end of the year.

This feature is a game-changer, making it easy to share files and information with others. Whether you’re sharing photos with friends or exchanging contact information with colleagues, Tap to Share is set to make your life easier. And with its expansion to other Android devices, it’s likely to become a staple of smartphone functionality, much like the Apple Watch Series 10’s connectivity features.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Google Pixel 11 may not have introduced any groundbreaking new features, but the updated NFC tag and Tap to Share feature are significant improvements that could make a big difference in your daily life. With its sleek design and user-friendly interface, the Pixel 11 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a new smartphone, especially when compared to other devices like the Apple iPhone 14 or the Samsung Galaxy S25.

Google Pixel 10 UK price drop impossible to ignore

Pixel 10 Discount Becomes One of the UK’s Biggest Talking Points

The Google Pixel 10 has sparked major attention across the UK after a sharp price drop that many shoppers say is one of the most compelling Black Friday offers this year. Retailers have pushed the handset to its lowest pricing since launch, creating a wave of interest from buyers who had previously held off. The scale of the reduction has surprised many in the industry and positioned the Pixel 10 as a standout deal for 2025’s sales period.

Early reports from major UK outlets indicate that demand surged within hours of the new pricing going live. Certain colour and storage options have already sold out at multiple retailers, with restocks happening unpredictably throughout the day. The rapid response shows just how strongly UK consumers have reacted to the sudden affordability of a flagship-level device.

The discount is being interpreted as a strategic push to strengthen Google’s position in the competitive UK smartphone market. With several rival brands releasing aggressive offers of their own, the Pixel 10’s drop has shifted attention strongly back in Google’s favour. Retail analysts say this move could influence competitors to adjust their pricing before the Black Friday period ends.

Google Pixel 10 UK price drop impossible to ignore

Performance improvements delivered through Google’s updated chipset have become a major part of the handset’s appeal. Many UK buyers upgrading from older devices have highlighted smoother multitasking and improved battery efficiency as key factors influencing their decision. These enhancements, combined with the reduced price, have transformed the Pixel 10 into a value-driven option for everyday users.

Camera upgrades have also played a role in the current buying surge. UK reviewers and early adopters continue to praise the device for producing sharper and more consistent low-light photos. The improvements have helped position the Pixel 10 as a reliable choice for users who depend heavily on smartphone photography.

Software support has become another strong selling point, especially for UK consumers focused on long-term reliability. Google’s commitment to extended updates has reassured buyers that the device will remain secure and up to date for years. This long-term value has made the new pricing even harder for many shoppers to overlook.

Mobile networks across the UK have begun adjusting their monthly plans to match the new retail pricing. Several carriers are now offering competitive bundles that make the handset accessible to customers who prefer spreading the cost. Early contract uptake has been strong, particularly among buyers looking to upgrade ageing devices.

Industry observers suggest the Pixel 10’s pricing shift could influence the overall smartphone market during the remaining days of the sales period. With UK consumers responding so positively, the pressure is mounting on other brands to offer similarly attractive reductions. This may spark further discounts across high-demand models as retailers look to maintain momentum.

Overall, the Pixel 10’s UK price drop has become one of the most notable developments of this year’s Black Friday shopping season. With strong performance, reliable software support and an aggressive new price point, the device has quickly turned into a top pick for UK buyers. Retailers expect high demand to continue as shoppers rush to secure the offer before stock levels tighten further.

Huge Price Drop Sends Pixel 10 Surging in Online Popularity

The Google Pixel 10 has sparked major attention across the UK after a significant price crash pushed it into one of the most attractive deals of the Black Friday season. Shoppers who had been eyeing a flagship upgrade have taken notice, as the handset’s cost has fallen far below its original launch price. This sudden shift has made the Pixel 10 a trending topic across multiple online platforms.

Originally introduced at £799, the standard 128GB Pixel 10 is now widely listed for around £599, with some flash deals and limited-time promotions dropping the effective price even lower. These reductions have fuelled a noticeable rise in UK search interest and online discussions as consumers react to the steep markdown. The size of the discount has become one of the standout highlights of this year’s sales period.

Powered by the Tensor G5 processor, the Pixel 10 delivers enhanced performance, stronger AI capabilities and better energy management compared with previous generations. These improvements have made everyday usage smoother and faster for UK buyers, and the lower cost allows more people to benefit from the device’s upgraded processing power. Its AI-focused features have been particularly well received, adding to the overall value of the offer.

Google Pixel 10 UK price crash turns heads online

The phone’s camera system continues to be a major draw. With improved low-light results, sharper image processing and refined stabilisation, the Pixel 10 remains one of the top camera performers in its price category. The addition of these capabilities at a much lower price point has amplified interest among photography enthusiasts and casual users alike.

Across the UK, retailers have added further incentives through trade-in schemes. Buyers exchanging older devices have managed to reduce their purchase cost even more, in some cases bringing the Pixel 10 below the £500 threshold. These offers have helped widen the handset’s appeal and contributed to the rapid growth in online engagement surrounding the price drop.

Google’s recent software updates have also played a role in boosting consumer confidence. Enhancements to system security, thermal optimisation and overall stability have refined the user experience. New Pixel 10 buyers benefit from these improvements immediately, making the discounted handset feel even more polished and future-ready.

Online activity around the deal has accelerated throughout the Black Friday period. Social media discussions, tech forums and deal-tracking sites have all seen spikes in conversation, with many users highlighting the Pixel 10 as one of the best smartphone bargains currently available. This surge in community attention has helped push the device to the forefront of the UK tech conversation.

Retail data has shown that some colour and storage combinations are beginning to sell through faster than expected, particularly during time-limited sales events. While stock overall remains accessible, shoppers have been moving quickly to secure preferred variants before availability becomes more limited. The momentum of the deal suggests continuing strong demand as the sale period progresses.

Discounts have also extended to the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, but the deepest and most eye-catching reduction remains with the standard model. This has positioned it as the leading recommendation for UK buyers looking to balance price and performance, further increasing its visibility online.

As the Black Friday promotions continue, analysts expect the Pixel 10 to remain among the most sought-after smartphones in the UK. Its combination of meaningful hardware upgrades, improved software support and a dramatic price crash has turned it into one of the most compelling tech deals of the 2025 holiday season.

Google Pixel 11 Launch Event: What to Expect

The Google Pixel 11 launch event is just around the corner, and with it comes a slew of new devices and features. The event is primarily focused on the Pixel 11 series of phones, which promises to bring significant upgrades to the table. However, with great power comes great cost, and the Pixel 11 series is expected to come with a hefty price tag.

The Pixel 11 series is expected to start at $899 for the base model, with the Pixel 11 Pro starting at $1,099 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL starting at $1,299. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold, on the other hand, is expected to start at $1,899. These prices are significantly higher than their predecessors, but Google is looking to justify the cost with improved features and specs.

New Features and Specs

One of the most significant upgrades to the Pixel 11 series is the improved storage capacity. The base model will now come with at least 256GB of storage, which is a significant bump from the 128GB offered in the previous generation. The Pixel 11 Pro XL, however, will retain its 256GB base storage capacity.

The Pixel 11 series will also feature new color options, including a bright pink option for the regular Pixel 11 and a new version of Obsidian, dubbed ‘Midnight Haze’, which comes in matte black. The Pixel 11 Pro models will feature a hero Dune color with a gold frame.

Another feature that’s generating buzz is the HiLight feature, which is exclusive to the Pro models. However, leaks suggest that the feature may not be as exciting as initially thought, with it simply showing a different color when a favorite contact calls or lights up blue when interacting with Gemini.

Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag

The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to make an appearance at the launch event, but leaked images and specs suggest that it will be nearly identical to its predecessor. The watch will come in a new color option, and there will also be a special edition model featuring a strap designed by Steph Curry.

The Pixel Tag, on the other hand, is a new device that’s expected to be a Bluetooth tracker similar to the Apple AirTag 2. Not much is known about the device, but it’s expected to be a useful tool for Google ecosystem devotees.

Other Devices and Accessories

Finally, Google is expected to launch a new color option for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, which will be a dark green color. There’s also a possibility that we may see new Pixelsnap accessories, but there’s been a lack of leaks on that front.

The Pixel 10a’s global launch is highly anticipated, and fans of the series are eager to get their hands on the new device. The phone’s features and specifications will likely be compared to those of its competitors, and the use of older hardware may be a major talking point.

Google Pixel 11 Leaked Colours: A UK Perspective

With the Google Pixel 11 series set to be announced on 12 August, we’ve got a sneak peek at the potential colours for the new range, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. While we can’t confirm the accuracy of these leaks, they do give us an idea of what to expect from the new Google smartphones.

In recent months, the internet has been buzzing with rumours and leaks, making this year’s Made by Google event feel a little less exciting. However, we’re still holding out for some surprises from Google, especially when it comes to the Pixel 11 series itself. Leaked Amazon retail listings, spotted by 9to5Google, have given us a glimpse of the seven different colours that might be available for the Pixel 11 range.

Ranking the Pixel 11 Colours

Here at TechAdvisor, we love to rank Google’s colour options, so let’s dive into our official rankings for the Pixel 11 colour options. Keep in mind that these images might not fully reflect our final impressions, and they may turn out to be incorrect.

7. Sterling (Pixel 11 only) – This cool, neutral silver or grey colour is a slightly insipid blue-tinted off-white. 6. Midnight (Pixel 11 Pro and Pro Fold) – An incrementally adjusted shade of black, this year’s Midnight is similar to last year’s Obsidian. 5. Light Fog (Pixel 11 Pro only) – A very pale grey-green colour, Light Fog is essentially a continuation of Google’s Fog theme. 4. Fuchsia (Pixel 11 only) – A startlingly pink colour, Fuchsia might be a highlight for some, but it’s not to everyone’s taste. 3. Pine (Pixel 11 Pro and Pro Fold) – A gorgeous silvery-green finish, Pine is a deep green tone that’s reminiscent of the Pixel 7 Pro’s Hazel option. 2. Moss (Pixel 11 only) – An appealing pop of colour, Moss is a mid-tone green that keeps things classy. 1. Dune (Pixel 11 Pro only) – A sophisticated pink colour, Dune looks like it was inspired by a premium piece of cooked salmon, a glass of grapefruit juice, and a Miami sunset.

In comparison to other smartphones on the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 or the Apple iPhone 17, the Google Pixel 11 series has a unique set of colour options. While the Samsung Galaxy S25 has a more subtle approach to colours, the Apple iPhone 17 has a more vibrant palette. The Google Pixel 11 series, on the other hand, offers a mix of both, with colours like Dune and Moss standing out from the crowd.

When it comes to other tech products, such as the Apple Watch Series 10 or the iPad Air M2, the Google Pixel 11 series has a distinct style that sets it apart. The Apple Watch Series 10, for example, has a more minimalist approach to design, while the iPad Air M2 has a more futuristic look. The Google Pixel 11 series, with its unique colour options, is sure to appeal to those who want a smartphone that stands out from the crowd.
