Google Pixel Care+ UK Launch
Google Pixel Care+ Finally Arrives in the UK
Google has finally brought its Pixel Care+ service to the UK, almost a year after its initial launch in the US. The service was introduced on 27 August 2025, just a day before the Google Pixel 10 series arrived in shops. Initially, it was only available to US customers and replaced the company’s Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection services.
Now, UK customers can sign up for a Pixel Care+ package, which offers same-day repairs to Google devices using authentic parts, as well as speedy replacements (where necessary) that typically ship the next working day. Pixel Care+ customers can make unlimited damage claims covering drops, spillages, and other accidents for a small excess. It also includes unlimited glass repairs and battery replacements at no extra charge.
Pixel Care+ UK Pricing
The Pixel Care+ plans start from £4.99 per month or £99 upfront for two years of basic cover on a Google Pixel phone, such as the Google Pixel 10 or the upcoming Google Pixel 11. Adding loss and theft coverage brings that price up to £6.99/£129. There’s a £59 excess on damage claims, and a £79 excess on loss and theft claims.
Google Pixel Watch devices have the same monthly cost, but drop to £89 a year for the basic package and £119 for loss and theft. Fitbit wearables, such as the Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Versa, are also included in the Pixel Care+ offering at a fixed price of £15 for two years of coverage, with an excess fee of £15.
Customers can add their Pixel Care+ coverage within 60 days of purchasing an eligible new device from the Google Store. Existing Preferred Care customers will be automatically migrated to the plan at no extra cost. Google is working to add third-party sales in the near future.
Comparison to Other Brands
While Google Pixel Care+ offers competitive pricing and features, it’s worth comparing it to other brands. For example, the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple iPhone 15 offer similar repair and replacement services through AppleCare+. Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S25 users can opt for Samsung Care+, which offers similar benefits.
