Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2026: What to Expect

Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place on 22 July 2026, at 2pm BST, in London. The event is expected to unveil a range of new devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8. Other devices that may be launched include the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9, Watch 9 Classic, and Watch Ultra 2, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Glasses, the company’s first smart glasses.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to have a 7.6-inch QHD+ interior display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, while the outer panel will size up at 5.5-inches with a 16:10 ratio. The phone will have a more squat physique, similar to the Huawei Pura X Max, and will feature a 50Mp wide and a 50Mp ultrawide camera. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, on the other hand, will retain the same tall aspect ratio as its predecessor, but will feature a larger 5000mAh battery and faster 45W charging speeds.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be a minor upgrade, with a smaller frame than its predecessor and a 10% reduction in size. The phone will be available in cream, graphite, and pink, with a mint colourway also a possibility. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 series, including the Watch 9 and Watch 9 Classic, will feature improved battery life, with the Watch Ultra 2 getting a 30% increase in battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Glasses will be the company’s first Android XR glasses, running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 chipset with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The glasses will feature a 12Mp camera using the Sony IMX681 sensor, directional speakers, and a touch-sensitive panel on the right arm. The price of the glasses is expected to be between $379-$499.

Devices that are not expected to be launched at the event include the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2, which is rumoured to arrive in early 2027, and new tablets, such as the Galaxy Tab S12 series, which is due to arrive in September. The Galaxy S26 FE is also expected to arrive in September, as a follow-up to the Galaxy S25 FE.
