Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design Full Camera Review Test

I’m here to share my experience with a high-end smartphone the Porsche Design version of the honor magic 7 RSR. This device raises a big question how it feels to use such a premium product is it truly worth it, when we look at its display system design and overall performance let’s dive into the details As I share my honest Impressions.

Now the Box includes a purple phone case that matches the device’s color the back of this case is mostly made of sip material with the Porsche Design logo engraved it’s designed with plastic grip areas to reduce the chance of accidental drops and protect the phone from impacts the inside of the case is lined with a velvety texture making it both practical and stylish together these accessories especially the Porsche branding exude sophistication.

The charger is a 100 W black fast charger consistent with the magic 7 series, it comes with a tough nylon charging cable that’s built to resist wear and tear what’s more the phone supports super-fast wireless charging which is a great addition for convenience and Friends tomorrow I’ll share a detailed camera review and comparison of the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design.

The magic 7 Pro you’re convinced that magic OS 9.0

The one for you and it’s a fantastic Flagship by the way for 2025 but you want something a little bit more exclusive something a bit more special and maybe say for example you’re a fan of sports cars you know particularly the brand Porche but this is where you might want to check out the Magic7 RSR because it’s a fantastically looking device is that even a word.

I keep wondering about that and it actually comes in something a bit more special now let me tell you what’s really different between this and the standard magic 7 Pro now first up obviously the price is going to be different now this is retailing in Malaysia for RM $69.99, That actually Nets you 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

Honor Magic 7 RSR

Now if you look at the standard or maybe I would say plain vanilla magic 7 Pro now this guy at its maximum specs uh you can get it for RM 5199 and that Nets you 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage so you are getting more RAM on the magic 7 RSR compared to the magic 7 Pro and of course it’s a bit more expensive and there’s two more differences that actually spotted in the specs overview so number one in terms of the telephoto lens.

Now they’re both 200 megapixel three times telephoto lenses and like I said this is one of the best implementation that combines both hardware and AI to give you one of probably the best uh zooming experience that you can get on any smartphone to date.

The 200 megapixel sensor on here is a larger aperture unit that means that, it’s able to bring in more light and ultimately you know give you a slightly better Zoom image compared to the standard magic 7 Pro now another difference that, I found here is actually in terms of the display at the front, Now obviously these are both very strong displays from honor but the HONOR Magic7 RSR adds on an element of anti-scratch.

It’s supposed to be not just more drop resistant but also more anti scratch so those are the two differences on top of the additional RAM that I told you about and of course this device actually comes in a better nicer packaging which I will show you on the desks right now all right guys so now that we are at the Des let’s take a closer look at the packaging for the honor Magic 7 RSR. Now this is the one that comes in egit gray that means the box itself will follow the color of the device and this here is the one that comes in the province colorway.

I’m going to show you the unboxing of the egit gray because I’ve already opened up my own Province colorway uh HONOR Magic 7 RSR. So we’re going to put this right up here for now and focus on this guy now naturally we have here a very beautiful looking box and it’s actually sort of a sleeve where you pull over to actually reveal the actual box, now check this out we have a very beautiful design here.

They’re both uh seals on the side and once you actually cut that way you actually open up to reveal a sentence inside now it says here, If you analyze the function of an object its form often becomes obvious not really sure what that means but it’s said by Professor Porche design of the 911 and founder of Porsche Design so you open this a little bit more and there we go so this is the alate gray version.

It has a slight curve reminiscent of 2.5 d glass

First impressions of the phone design now let’s talk about the phone itself I have to say I haven’t been this impressed with a phone design in a while the official name for its color is provand purple and it’s truly stunning the actual device looks even better than in the promotional images under different lighting conditions the color shifts slightly giving it a dynamic and captivating appearance.

This effect is enhanced by a subtle raised Line running along the phone’s body the rear camera module stands out with its unique hexagonal design surrounded by a Metallic frame the glass covering the camera isn’t completely flat. It has a slight curve reminiscent of 2.5 d glass which adds to its premium look and feel the phone’s purple frame ensures a seamless uniform design however the glossy finish on the frame does tend to attract fingerprints at around 231 G the phone has a solid weight.

6.8 in 1.5k display with 120 HZ refresh rate

Display quality the honor magic 7 rsr Porsche Design features a 6.8 in 1.5k display with 120 HZ refresh rate. It’s one of the best displays I’ve used this year the screen is vibrant crystal clear and delivers a top tier viewing experience protected by Honor’s new golden Gorilla Glass this display is reportedly 10 times more resistant to drops and scratches compared to regular materials this means you might not even need a screen protector.

As the screen is exceptionally durable what truly sets this display apart is its balanced color reproduction the colors are bright and Vivid without being overly saturated making it comfortable for extended use the display also includes features like blue light filtering and advanced.

Brightness adjustments which ensure a pleasant viewing experience regardless of lighting conditions whether you choose the Porsche Design version or the standard magic 7 Pro this screen is definitely one of the highlights of the phone.

Zooming in 300X, 600x or even 1200X night photography

The camera system on the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is significantly upgraded it features a large 1.3 in sensor with advanced technology and a dynamic range capability of up to 15 stops, This means the camera can capture bright highlights and detailed Shadows simultaneously making.

it ideal for scenes like sunrises sunsets or high contrast architecture portrait shots come out beautifully thanks to the phone’s excellent color processing the photos strike a perfect balance between eye-catching vibrancy and natural tones. The phone includes a telephoto lens with top-of-the-line specifications including a 1/4 in sensor.

And advanced Periscope zoom capabilities the zoom is impressive even in low light conditions maintaining sharp details whether you’re zooming in 300X, 600x or even 1200X night photography and extreme Zoom levels like 70x or 100x produce surprisingly good results. What’s more the AI processing for photography has seen a big improvement with the latest system update the AI leverages cloud data and advanced algorithms to enhance the overall photo quality.

Honor Robot Phone UK Release

Honor Robot Phone with 200Mp camera on three-axis gimbal

Honor Robot Phone Release Date Announced

Honor has confirmed that its Robot Phone will be released on 12 August, coinciding with the launch of the Google Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5. This unusual smartphone features a 200Mp camera on a three-axis gimbal, allowing it to dance and follow subjects around a room. Rumoured specs include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 6000mAh battery, making it a potential competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Apple iPhone 17.

The Robot Phone has been making appearances at tech events, including MWC 2026, where it was showcased alongside other innovative devices like the Apple Watch Series 10 and iPad Air M2. Honor’s decision to release the Robot Phone on the same day as the Google Pixel 11 series may be seen as an aggressive move, but it could also generate buzz and attention for the unique device.

While the exact specs and price of the Honor Robot Phone are still unknown, the company has described it as a ‘new species of smartphone’. With its advanced camera capabilities and potential high-end specs, it could be a game-changer in the UK smartphone market, which is currently dominated by brands like Samsung and Apple. The release of the Robot Phone may also coincide with other notable tech events, such as Amazon Prime Day UK, which could offer discounts on the device and other smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Google Pixel 11 series.

In terms of competition, the Honor Robot Phone will face off against other high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Apple iPhone 17, as well as newer devices like the Google Pixel 11 series. However, its unique camera features and potential aggressive pricing could make it a compelling option for UK consumers looking for a new smartphone. As the release date approaches, more information about the Robot Phone’s specs, price, and availability is expected to be announced, potentially at the Imaging Technology Launch Event in partnership with Arri.

Honor Magic 9 Camera Phone

Honor Magic 9 Camera

Honor Magic 9 Takes Aim at Best Camera Phone Crown

Honor has offered a sneak peek at its forthcoming Magic 9 flagship smartphone series, which could come with some intriguing camera upgrades. The phone is set to be officially announced in September, a bit earlier than expected, given that the Magic 8 launched in October last year.

The teaser revealed a glimpse at the Honor Magic 9’s camera module, complete with a pro camera-style ridged lens surround. This has led to speculation that the new model might feature a rotating camera control. The shot also confirms that at least one of the sensors will be a 1/1.4-inch 200Mp sensor, backed by OIS, similar to the 3.7x telephoto camera in the Honor Magic 8 Pro.

Arri Partnership

The presence of Arri branding in the teaser shot is also notable. Arri is a German video camera specialist that announced a partnership with Honor back in March. This partnership is expected to bring native Log-C3 video encoding, LUT color grading, and a dedicated cinema mode to the Honor Magic 9 series.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro was well-received, with its emulation of Apple’s Face ID system being a notable feature. However, there were areas that needed improvement, such as camera consistency and software. Hopefully, the Honor Magic 9 will address these issues and provide a strong challenge to Samsung, especially given the suggestion that Samsung’s new 200Mp camera sensor might not be used in its own Galaxy S27 series.

Competition and Future Prospects

The way could be open for Honor to challenge Samsung in early 2027. The Samsung Galaxy S27 series is expected to be a major player in the market, but if it doesn’t feature the new 200Mp camera sensor, Honor might have an opportunity to gain an edge. Other competitors, such as Google with its Pixel 11 series, and Apple with its iPhone 18 series, will also be vying for market share.

The Honor Magic 9 series is expected to be a significant player in the smartphone market, with its advanced camera features and partnership with Arri. As the market continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how Honor and other manufacturers adapt and innovate to meet consumer demands.

Honor 400 Lite lounch out

Honor 400 lite

The Honor 400 Lite and let’s talk about specs quickly because we got lots to cover. The Honor 400 Lite rocks a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset paired with 8 gig RAM and 256 gig of storage. The Honor 400 Lite looks unapologetically like an iPhone 16 Pro with a similar camera array design.

It’s got a 6.7 in AMOLED display running at 120 Hz. A solid 5,230 mAh battery which is great for this size. 35 watt charging. Not that impressive, but it is running Magic OS 9.0

Honor 400 Lite Display

The display is honestly really impressive for this category. is a vivid 6.7 in AMOLED panel with a sharp full HD plus resolution. it has excellent brightness and offers good viewing angles when viewed outdoors. Honor claims that it can go up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, which is very impressive for its class. I had to double check this. It is true. It is perfect for sunny days and in that situation that I just showed you in that shoot. It was awesome there because I had I didn’t have to squint. I didn’t have to put a shadow over it or anything like that. And the 120 Hz refresh rate here, it does means that scrolling through socials or playing casual games will feel very silky, very smooth.

Performance of honor 400 lite

Performance on this phone is okay, not mind-blowing or anything like that. As you can probably expect, you do get stereo speakers, which do a decent job like many phones in this category or many phones in general. Powering the Honor 400 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of non-expandable storage. The phone also resists dust and take on water splashes with an IP65 rating which is really crucial these days.

There’s no headphone jack, but Bluetooth or USBC is perfectly good enough for listening to music or watching content. Performance-wise, we’ve got the Dimensity 7025 Ultra here. In daily use, the Dimensity chipset is not something that I’ve used a lot of times. I’ve used maybe two or three phones before.

Felt very snappy though. Scrolling, multitasking, general use feels really smooth. For context, is roughly similar to the Exonos 1580, I would say, on the Galaxy A56 5G felt very similar, you know, almost comparable to to that same chipset. or Samsung might have a slight edge in gaming and heavier task because it has a slightly beefier GPU in everyday scenarios.

It also has very good stereo speakers, which isn’t common on similar price phones, making this an excellent media consumption device. Powering the Honor 400 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of non-expandable storage.

Gaming and Battery wise Honor 400 Lite

Gaming on the 400 L is fine for casual and moderate gaming. things like COD and you know PUBG and things like that perfectly playable but if you want to play like Genshin Impact or other graphic heavy titles you might struggle a little bit because after all it’s not Honor’s flagship model here still for the odd gaming session it holds. scrambling for a charger in the middle of the day if you left it charging overnight. it very well doesn’t heat up or anything like that really great for that and The Auto 400 Lite is a 2-day battery phone with its 5,230 mAh battery. you know you get a full day and some here it was effortless for charging as well even though it’s 35 W you know it’s not going to be groundbreaking or You can know that. But it got me from flat to about 50% in half an hour, which at a pinch is going to be more than good enough.

Honor should have given it faster charging speed as 35 W feels really slow these days compared to some other phones of its class. But otherwise, the phone gets fully charged from the flat battery in over an hour, which isn’t too bad. Overall, the Honor 400 Lite is a great mid-range phone.

Camera quality and features of Honor 400 Lite

let’s talk about the camera features because, The Honor 400 Lite may have a modus 108 MP main and 5 megap ultrawide camera setup but the image quality from these cameras are actually pretty decent for its class even when they are used in low light.

Honor 400 Lite
Honor 400 Lite

For selfies Honor has gone heavy on AI here, but again, in a very useful way. Long pressing on the camera button gets you quick access to Google Lens and lets you perform a camera search. AI motion capture automatically boosts frame rate for action shots. Perfect if you’re capturing pets or kids. You know, in my example here, the model was doing this twirl, and it was really cool to kind of just capture that moment and freeze it. Really good. AI outpainting extends the photo beyond its original frame, which is really awesome as well.

AI eraser, not different to what we’ve seen in many other phones. Quickly removes unwanted photo bombers. And Honor does a really good AI job at removing and replacing, you know, that area. The 60 megapixel front camera does a good job, and it even comes with an LED if you want to brighten your face.

There’s a lot more to talk about. Design-wise, Honor has kept it very sleek, very slim, and modern at just 7.29 mil thick. It’s comfortable to hold, lightweight, feels almost like a light iPhone. the back, which is, you know, very nice. This kind of dual color setup here. This is actually my favorite color on the setup. It actually goes a little bit smaller than the dynamic island, which I prefer. But still, I’d prefer something perhaps a little bit more original, but like I said, I do get the appeal. Like in most of my reviews, when I get the chance, I’ like to go out and use the phone.

When I was using the phone as normal, I actually did find this AI camera button to be more useful than the Apple’s version is probably it feels exactly the same, but it has less functions. You know, you can zoom in and out of things and, you know, use it as a camera shutter.

Honor X9d battery life test blows past expectations

Honor X9d battery life test blows past expectations

Honor’s massive 8300 mAh battery sets a new standard for endurance

The Honor X9d has stunned tech enthusiasts across the United States with its remarkable battery performance, surpassing even the most optimistic expectations. Following multiple real-world tests, the phone has proven that its enormous 8300 mAh battery is not just a marketing highlight but a true engineering achievement. In a market where most smartphones struggle to last beyond a day of heavy use, the X9d’s endurance has set a new benchmark for midrange devices.

Honor’s decision to equip the X9d with such a large battery is a bold one. Most midrange smartphones offer between 4500 and 5000 mAh capacities, but the X9d nearly doubles that while maintaining a sleek and modern design. During continuous usage tests, the phone lasted for over 20 hours of video playback, around 17 hours of gaming, and more than 48 hours of moderate everyday use. These numbers put it well ahead of many premium flagships, some of which cost twice as much.

A big part of the X9d’s efficiency comes from Honor’s power optimization system, which is deeply integrated into its MagicOS 8.0 software. The device uses AI-driven adaptive battery management to identify power-hungry apps and automatically limit background consumption. Combined with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset’s efficiency, the phone’s performance remains smooth while conserving energy. The result is a balance between raw power and longevity that very few competitors manage to achieve.

Honor X9d battery life test blows past expectations

One of the standout features is the 66W fast charging support. Despite its massive capacity, the X9d can charge from 0 to 100 percent in just about an hour, which is a remarkable feat. Users no longer have to worry about long charging times or carrying power banks during travel. Honor also included reverse charging functionality, allowing the X9d to act as a power source for other gadgets such as earbuds or smartwatches. This flexibility adds another layer of practicality for users who are often on the go.

Thermal control during charging and gaming was another area where the X9d exceeded expectations. Even during stress tests involving extended gaming and high screen brightness, the device managed heat effectively, never reaching uncomfortable levels. Honor’s internal cooling system and software-based thermal adjustments ensured consistent performance, proving that the large battery does not compromise comfort or reliability.

The phone’s impressive display efficiency also plays a role in conserving power. Its 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate dynamically adjusts depending on content type. This means it drops refresh rates during static tasks like reading or browsing to save power, but ramps up to full speed during gaming or scrolling for smooth visuals. Combined with deep black rendering and efficient backlighting, this optimization contributes to the X9d’s extended screen-on time.

In real-world testing, users found that even after a full day of photography, social media use, and navigation, the Honor X9d still had over 40 percent charge remaining. Travelers, field professionals, and gamers praised the device for its ability to last through long hours without needing a recharge. Many early adopters have called it the “battery king” of 2025, highlighting how it outperforms several well-known brands in endurance tests.

Honor’s achievement with the X9d is more than just about battery size—it’s about redefining user expectations. By combining massive capacity with intelligent optimization and fast charging, the company has created a phone that truly meets modern lifestyle demands. For midrange buyers in the USA, this level of endurance changes the game entirely.

In summary, the Honor X9d’s battery life has blown past every expectation set before its launch. With multi-day power, rapid charging, reverse power support, and excellent temperature management, it delivers a level of reliability that most smartphones in its class simply can’t match. Honor has successfully proven that endurance can coexist with style, performance, and affordability, making the X9d one of the most well-rounded smartphones to hit the American market in recent years.

Honor X9d first sale in USA breaks early records

Honor X9d first sale in USA breaks early records

Honor X9d Makes a Splash in Its First U.S. Sale

The launch of the HONOR X9d in the United States has turned into a standout event, with the device’s first sale exceeding expectations and setting new benchmarks for the brand. From the moment pre-orders opened to the rush of buyers on launch day, the X9d captured strong attention from consumers looking for high value and reliability in a mid-range smartphone.

Before the official U.S. release, the X9d had already generated buzz globally thanks to its durability credentials, long-life battery, and balanced performance. The hype translated well when the device made its U.S. entry: retailers reported rapid sellouts of initial stock, and social media and online forums lit up with users sharing their purchase experiences. Many buyers noted the urgency to secure the device early, with some units disappearing within hours of launch.

Several factors contributed to the rapid uptake. First, the X9d arrives with features that appeal broadly: rugged build quality including IP-rating and drop protection, a large battery engineered for extended use, and enough processing power for everyday tasks and some gaming. For U.S. buyers who are looking for more than just a premium name brand, the X9d positioned itself as a smart choice. Second, HONOR’s pricing strategy in the U.S. market made the device even more appealing, with unlocked variants offered at competitive rates relative to feature-set and competing models. That balance of value and performance created a strong pull among consumers.

Honor X9d first sale in USA breaks early records

Another key element was the timing and marketing push around the first sale. HONOR leveraged online channels, direct-to-consumer platforms, and partner retailers to generate excitement. Launch day promotions, limited-time bundles, and initial stock scarcity combined to create a “first-mover” effect—buyers fast-tracking their purchase decisions to avoid missing out. Early feedback from retailers indicated elevated traffic, increased page-views, and a significant pickup in conversions compared to previous mid-range launches by the brand.

From a broader market perspective, the success of the X9d’s first U.S. sale may signal evolving consumer priorities. With flagship prices continuing to climb, more users are seeking “premium enough” devices that deliver meaningful features without flagship-level cost. The X9d’s strong start suggests that durability, battery longevity, and pricing are key differentiators in 2025’s smartphone landscape. HONOR appears to have tapped into this trend effectively with its X Series.

For those who managed to secure the device on launch day, early impressions are positive. Buyers report satisfaction with build quality—especially the reinforced frame and protective features often absent in competing models at this price point. Battery performance also stands out in user comments, with many noting that the phone easily lasts a full day of heavy use and still retains comfort for the second day. Features such as large storage capacities, generous memory options, and U.S.-band compatibility further boost appeal for value-conscious buyers.

Looking ahead, the early sale success sets a strong foundation for the X9d’s lifecycle. It positions the model for healthy secondary sales, brand visibility growth, and potential expansion of accessory and warranty offerings. As HONOR rolls out software updates and additional features, the initial momentum may help sustain interest and keep the X9d relevant longer in the market.

In summary, the HONOR X9d’s first U.S. sale was not just a standard launch—it was a statement. With rapid stock depletion, high online engagement, and positive user reactions, the device achieved a breakthrough for the brand in the U.S. mid-range segment. For buyers seeking robust features, excellent value, and strong durability in their next smartphone, the X9d has already made itself a compelling choice.

HONOR X9d Officially Cleared for 5G Use in Germany

HONOR’s latest smartphone, the X9d, has officially received certification confirming its compatibility with 5G networks in Germany. This marks a significant milestone for the brand as it continues to expand its 5G-ready lineup across Europe. The certification ensures that the German variant of the X9d can connect to the country’s next-generation mobile infrastructure, providing users with faster data speeds and improved connectivity.

The HONOR X9d was initially introduced as a performance-driven midrange smartphone with a strong focus on durability and long-lasting battery life. With this latest certification, it is now clear that HONOR intends to bring the X9d to more European markets with full 5G support. The device is compatible with both Stand-Alone (SA) and Non-Stand-Alone (NSA) 5G modes, meaning users in Germany can enjoy consistent network performance whether they’re using newer 5G cores or older LTE-based networks.

The phone’s German certification also reflects HONOR’s growing emphasis on providing region-specific network support. Many global smartphone models face limitations when it comes to carrier compatibility, but the X9d’s inclusion of the most commonly used German 5G bands ensures seamless coverage across major carriers. This makes the device a practical choice for consumers who want a reliable connection without compromising on speed or stability.

Beyond its connectivity, the HONOR X9d offers a premium set of hardware features that position it as a strong competitor in the upper midrange segment. It comes equipped with a large 8,300mAh battery, offering extended endurance for heavy users who stream, game, or work remotely. The battery supports 66W fast charging, allowing it to reach a substantial charge in just minutes. This combination of efficiency and capacity caters perfectly to the demands of modern mobile lifestyles.

Another standout feature is the display. HONOR has equipped the X9d with a bright AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals and responsive touch interactions. Whether for gaming, watching videos, or browsing social media, the display performance aligns well with what users expect from higher-end smartphones. Coupled with vibrant colors and strong contrast ratios, it enhances the overall viewing experience significantly.

Durability is another area where the X9d shines. It is certified for IP68 and IP69K protection, which means the device can withstand water, dust, and high-pressure cleaning scenarios. HONOR has emphasized this aspect to appeal to outdoor users or professionals who need a smartphone that can handle tough environments. This level of ruggedness is rarely found in devices within its price range, giving the X9d a unique selling point in the market.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a capable 5G processor optimized for efficiency and speed. It features 12GB of RAM with up to 512GB of internal storage, providing ample room for multitasking and file storage. This hardware combination ensures that the X9d performs smoothly across everyday tasks, gaming, and demanding apps without significant lag. Combined with HONOR’s optimization of the Android-based MagicOS interface, users can expect a responsive and streamlined experience.

For the German market, the certification confirms that consumers will be able to use the X9d on popular 5G networks offered by leading carriers. This move positions HONOR as a growing player in the European mobile landscape, where 5G adoption continues to accelerate. By offering a robust and affordable 5G-ready smartphone, HONOR strengthens its foothold among users seeking a balance between performance, durability, and price.

The certification also highlights the brand’s confidence in expanding its portfolio across regulatory environments that demand strict compliance. As Germany continues to build its 5G infrastructure, devices like the HONOR X9d ensure that users can make the most of the new technology without needing to invest in expensive flagship models. With its combination of endurance, build quality, and next-generation connectivity, the X9d stands out as one of HONOR’s most complete midrange offerings to date.

Overall, the official clearance of the HONOR X9d for 5G networks in Germany solidifies its place as a capable, future-ready device. It brings together speed, reliability, and resilience in a package tailored for modern users. As 5G becomes the standard across Europe, smartphones like the X9d will play a major role in bringing accessible high-speed connectivity to a wider audience while maintaining the durability and efficiency that HONOR is known for.

Honor 600 Pro Review

Honor 600 Pro Review: A Familiar Face

The Honor 600 Pro is a flagship-adjacent smartphone from the former Huawei spin-off, and it barely bothers to hide its inspiration from Apple’s current design language. Despite its unoriginal design, the phone offers impressive performance with a camera system and battery life to match.

The 600 Pro has a decent camera system, long battery life, and performance under the hood that will more than satisfy most users. The phone’s 6.57-inch AMOLED panel is bright, vivid, and easy to spend time with, and the stereo speakers handle the midrange with reasonable presence. The phone also features a 200Mp main sensor, a 50Mp periscope camera, and a 12Mp ultrawide camera.

Design and Build

The Honor 600 Pro is a supremely well-designed device, even if it is heavily mimicking the iPhone. Available in either black or golden white, the 600 Pro feels extremely sleek and premium to hold. The main difference between it and the iPhone is the dedicated AI button, positioned beneath the volume and power controls on the right-hand side.

Screen and Speakers

The 6.57-inch AMOLED panel is bright, vivid, and easy to spend time with. The addition of 3,840Hz PWM dimming is also a meaningful inclusion for anyone sensitive to flicker. On the audio side, the stereo speakers handle the midrange with reasonable presence, and high frequencies come through cleanly.

Specs and Performance

The 600 Pro makes its clearest case for the price difference over the standard 600 with its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Everything moves quickly and confidently: app switching, multitasking, and demanding workloads sit within its comfort zone without apparent effort. The phone didn’t struggle with any higher-intensity games such as Genshin Impact or Fortnite either.

Cameras

The 200Mp main sensor is where the Honor 600 Pro makes its mark. This is a camera that rewards close attention to what you’re actually looking at, and when conditions are right, it delivers a level of detail that’s really impressive at its price. The telephoto camera reaches a 3.5x optical zoom, and image quality holds impressively up to around 20x.

Battery Life and Charging

The Honor 600 Pro has very good endurance, with two days off a full charge achievable under moderate use. The 50W wireless charging is also a welcome addition, although the wired charging is a slight regression from the 100W on the Honor 400 Pro.

Software and Apps

The 600 Pro runs MagicOS 10, Honor’s Android 16 skin, and it brings the same mix of strengths and irritations found on the standard Honor 600. The interface is clean and navigates fluidly, but the AI suite is where restraint would serve Honor better than ambition.

In comparison to other flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy S26, the 600 Pro slightly loses out. However, at a good discount, it’s a great buy, and other manufacturers should watch their back. The phone is available through Honor’s official store and third-party retailers including Amazon and Argos, priced at £899.99 in the UK.

Honor X9d Australia availability through JB Hi-Fi

Honor X9d 5G launch status and availability in Australia

The Honor X9d 5G has become one of the most discussed smartphones among Australian tech enthusiasts, but its official availability in the country remains uncertain. While the device has been launched in several Asian markets, including Malaysia and Singapore, there has been no official confirmation from Honor or major Australian retailers about a local release date. Many consumers have been eagerly checking listings at JB Hi-Fi, one of Australia’s leading electronics retailers, hoping to see the new Honor X9d appear among its growing collection of Android phones.

As of late October 2025, JB Hi-Fi’s online store does not list the Honor X9d 5G among its available smartphone models. The retailer continues to offer a variety of Android devices from brands like Samsung, Google, Motorola, and Oppo, but Honor’s latest smartphone has yet to make an appearance. This suggests that either Honor has not finalized distribution agreements with Australian retail partners, or that the rollout is being planned for a later stage. Consumers looking for the device are instead turning to international websites or import-based retailers, though these purchases often lack Australian warranty coverage.

The Honor X9d 5G was first introduced in selected Asian markets earlier this year, featuring a premium design and competitive mid-range specifications. The phone includes a curved AMOLED display, a 108-megapixel main camera, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, positioning it as a stylish and capable device for its price segment. Early reviews from regions where it has been released highlight its impressive screen quality, strong battery life, and modern design. These features have made it a desirable option for users who want flagship-like aesthetics without the premium cost, fueling anticipation for its possible Australian launch.

Honor X9d Australia availability through JB Hi-Fi

Industry observers believe that Honor is evaluating the right time to re-enter the Australian retail market with new models like the X9d. Since its split from Huawei, Honor has focused on rebuilding its global presence, expanding into Europe and parts of Asia. Australia, with its competitive smartphone market, remains a key target region, but establishing retail partnerships takes time. JB Hi-Fi, which has previously stocked Honor products before the brand’s temporary market exit, could become an important partner once Honor resumes official operations in the country.

For now, Australians interested in the Honor X9d 5G can only purchase the device through international sellers that ship to Australia. Prices on import platforms are listed around AUD 520 to AUD 550, depending on configuration and seller. However, buying imported models often means limited access to local after-sales service and no guaranteed compatibility with Australian 5G bands. Consumers are advised to check network support and warranty conditions carefully before making an international purchase.

In recent months, Honor has shown growing interest in expanding its product lineup across new territories. The company’s success with models like the Magic V2 and Honor 200 series has strengthened its global reputation, suggesting that broader availability could soon follow. Australian customers have already shown enthusiasm for mid-range 5G phones, making it likely that Honor will consider bringing the X9d to stores like JB Hi-Fi or Harvey Norman in the near future. Official announcements could arrive before the end of the year if Honor decides to enter the Australian market with a formal distribution plan.

For now, there has been no official word from either Honor or JB Hi-Fi confirming the X9d’s release in Australia. Tech analysts note that Honor’s growing international momentum could soon lead to new partnerships, particularly as the brand seeks to compete more directly with Samsung and Google in the mid-range smartphone category. Until that happens, Australian consumers eager to get their hands on the Honor X9d will need to rely on trusted import options or wait for an official launch update.

The Honor X9d 5G’s combination of elegant design, strong specifications, and accessible pricing gives it the potential to perform well in Australia’s competitive smartphone market. If Honor proceeds with an official launch through JB Hi-Fi or other local retailers, it could mark an important step in the brand’s comeback to the region. For now, tech enthusiasts continue to watch closely for signs of availability, hoping that the device will soon join JB Hi-Fi’s shelves as part of Honor’s renewed push into the Australian market.

With the launch, Honor aims to strengthen its presence in North America by offering a phone that combines toughness, endurance, and modern performance at a competitive price. The company has made headlines by including one of the largest batteries in its class, positioning the X9d as a long-lasting powerhouse designed for users who demand reliability and long runtimes.

The Canadian version of the Honor X9d features the brand’s latest silicon-carbon battery technology with an impressive 8,300mAh capacity. Honor claims this battery is not only one of the largest available in any mainstream smartphone but also highly durable, with a projected lifespan of up to six years. This large battery supports 66W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge and get back to full use within a short time. The phone also supports reverse wired charging, giving it the capability to power other devices when needed.

Honor has emphasized durability as one of the X9d’s strongest selling points. The phone carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure sprays. Its design includes reinforced corners and a robust structure, providing extra protection against drops and rough handling. This rugged approach aligns with the company’s goal of appealing to users who lead active lifestyles or work in challenging environments where standard smartphones may not survive.

Honor X9d Canadian Version Comes with Bigger Battery

Beyond its rugged design and large battery, the Honor X9d delivers modern performance powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. This chipset brings improved power efficiency and faster processing speeds, ensuring that the device can handle multitasking, gaming, and everyday applications with ease. Paired with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 512GB, the X9d offers plenty of room for photos, videos, and files without the need for expansion. It runs on Honor’s MagicOS, based on Android 14, offering a clean and user-friendly interface optimized for speed and stability.

The display of the X9d is another highlight, featuring a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This large, vivid display ensures smooth scrolling and immersive viewing whether you are watching videos, browsing the web, or playing games. The resolution delivers crisp visuals, and the high refresh rate adds fluidity to every interaction. Combined with stereo speakers and advanced sound processing, the device offers an engaging multimedia experience for entertainment lovers.

On the camera front, the Honor X9d comes equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera featuring optical image stabilization. This allows users to capture sharp and detailed photos even in challenging lighting conditions. The camera system is complemented by additional sensors that support wide-angle shots and depth detection, making it versatile for various photography needs. The front camera provides high-resolution selfies and supports AI-driven enhancements to optimize facial detail and color balance.

Although rumors circulated suggesting that the Canadian version of the Honor X9d might come with a larger battery than its global counterpart, official specifications confirm that the device retains the same 8,300mAh battery capacity across all markets. This consistency ensures that Canadian users receive the same powerful performance and long-lasting battery life enjoyed by users in other regions. The misunderstanding likely arose because the X9d’s battery is already significantly larger than typical smartphones, making it easy for consumers to assume there were regional variations.

In Canada, the Honor X9d is being positioned as a premium mid-range smartphone targeting users who value longevity and durability over flashy extras. With its combination of massive battery life, rugged build, and balanced performance, it appeals to travelers, field workers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The competitive pricing also makes it an attractive option for consumers seeking flagship-level endurance without paying flagship-level prices.

Overall, the Honor X9d’s arrival in Canada represents a strategic move by Honor to capture a niche yet growing segment of users who prioritize practicality and resilience. With its 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, sturdy build, powerful hardware, and high-quality display, the X9d sets a new benchmark for endurance-focused smartphones in its price range. While the Canadian version does not feature a different battery size, it still offers one of the most impressive power performances on the market, confirming Honor’s commitment to delivering innovative and reliable mobile technology for users across the globe.
