Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2026: What to Expect

Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is just around the corner, taking place on 22 July in London. The event is expected to unveil a range of new products, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumoured to have a 7.6-inch QHD+ interior display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, while the outer panel will size up at 5.5-inches with a 16:10 ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, on the other hand, will retain the same tall aspect ratio as its predecessor, with a larger 5000mAh battery and faster 45W charging speeds. The phone will also have a fewer noticeable crease, making it a strong competitor to the Oppo Find N6.

In addition to the new phones, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 9 series, including the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch 9 Classic. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is also rumoured to make an appearance, with a 30% increase in battery capacity and a 5G-ready version for faster connection speeds.

Samsung’s first smart glasses, the Galaxy Glasses, are also tipped to be unveiled at the event. The glasses will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 chipset and have Google Gemini AI built-in. They are expected to weigh 50g, have a 155 mAh battery, and a 12Mp camera using the Sony IMX681 sensor.

Other products that are not expected to make an appearance at the event include the Galaxy Ring 2, which is rumoured to arrive in early 2027, and new tablets, which are due to be released in September as part of Samsung’s usual refresh cycle.
