GOG Enters Publishing Market
GOG, known for its DRM-free games, is now entering the publishing market with 5 titles in the pipeline, including games from developers like CD Projekt Red, creators of the Apple Watch Series 10 compatible game, The Witcher 3, and Samsung Galaxy S25 optimized games.
GOG’s move into publishing will also see its games released on Steam, a platform dominated by devices like the iPad Air M2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, allowing for a wider reach and more options for gamers using devices like the Apple iPhone 14 or Google Pixel 7.
The expansion into publishing is a significant step for GOG, which has primarily been a platform for gamers to purchase and play DRM-free games on devices such as the Amazon Fire HD 10 or Lenovo Tab M10, and now with the addition of publishing, GOG is set to increase its presence in the gaming industry, rivaling companies like Nintendo, known for the Nintendo Switch, and Sony, with its PlayStation 5 console.
