Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Poco X6 5G feature comparison

Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Poco X6 5G feature comparison

Two modern midrange phones going head-to-head in design, performance, and value

The Nothing Phone 3A Lite and Poco X6 5G target the same midrange audience but approach it differently. While the Poco X6 5G aims to offer maximum specifications for the price, the Nothing Phone 3A Lite focuses on design, software experience, and balanced performance. Both promise strong value for money, yet each caters to different types of users. Here’s a detailed comparison across their most important features.

Starting with design and build, the Nothing Phone 3A Lite carries forward the company’s signature transparent rear panel and minimalistic aesthetic. The Glyph interface is expected to make a return in a simplified form, allowing light patterns for notifications and calls. The device reportedly features a flat aluminum frame with Panda Glass protection and a matte finish that resists fingerprints. In contrast, the Poco X6 5G sticks with a more conventional design, using Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and a glossy plastic back. It looks solid and durable but lacks the visual distinctiveness of the Nothing model. For users who prioritize style and design innovation, the 3A Lite is likely to feel more premium and modern.

Display quality plays a big role in overall user experience. The Poco X6 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits of brightness. It’s HDR10+ certified and supports Dolby Vision, making it a great option for streaming and gaming. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is rumored to have a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness near 1,300 nits. While the Poco X6 5G technically offers sharper resolution and higher brightness, Nothing’s color calibration and clean UI make everyday use feel smoother and more polished. Both deliver immersive visuals, but Poco slightly leads in raw display specs.

Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Poco X6 5G feature comparison

Under the hood, performance defines how these two phones differ in character. The Poco X6 5G uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This setup provides solid performance for multitasking, social media, and gaming. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is expected to use the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. This chip brings improved energy efficiency and better AI processing. In day-to-day use, the 3A Lite should feel slightly faster and more efficient, especially when paired with the lightweight Nothing OS based on Android 15. Poco’s MIUI-based HyperOS, though feature-rich, tends to include bloatware that can affect smoothness over time.

Camera capabilities are another major difference. The Poco X6 5G comes with a 64MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The 16MP front camera performs decently for selfies. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is expected to include dual 50MP sensors for main and ultra-wide shots, with a 50MP front camera as well. Nothing’s color science and processing are generally tuned toward natural tones, while Poco’s photos tend to have boosted contrast and saturation. For users who prefer realistic, balanced photos and better low-light performance, the 3A Lite will likely deliver a more refined imaging experience overall.

Battery life and charging speeds also reveal some differences in philosophy. The Poco X6 5G has a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, capable of topping up from 0 to 100% in about 45 minutes. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is expected to include a 5,000mAh battery with support for faster wired charging, possibly up to 100W, depending on region. Wireless charging is unlikely for the Lite model, but the efficiency of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip should ensure strong endurance for a full day of use. Poco edges ahead in proven battery performance, while Nothing aims to impress with charging speed and optimization.

When comparing extra features, Poco offers an infrared blaster, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and IP54 splash resistance. Nothing counters with NFC, stereo speakers, under-display fingerprint sensor, and the distinctive Glyph lighting system for alerts and customization. Both phones support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring future-ready connectivity. However, Nothing’s attention to software design and animations provides a smoother, more minimalistic feel.

In conclusion, the Poco X6 5G is ideal for buyers seeking the best display specs, higher brightness, and faster charging at a competitive price. It’s performance-driven and well-rounded, making it a solid everyday device. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite, on the other hand, emphasizes design uniqueness, software polish, and camera quality. It’s for users who value aesthetics and user experience over sheer technical numbers. While both phones deliver strong value in the midrange category, the 3A Lite stands out as a more refined and distinctive choice for those who prefer a cleaner Android experience with a modern design twist.

Nubia Z 70 Ultra – The Real Future Of Smartphones

Today we’re checking out the Nubia Z70 Ultra which makes some bold claims premium specs an Innovative camera system and An eccentric design all starting at £ 649 but does it deliver in real world performance in this review.

We’ll be checking out the Z 70 ultra Snapdragon Elite chipset its AMOLED display and adjustable aperture camera. We’ll also check out what it’s like to game on this phone and daily usability to uncover its strength and weaknesses. The z70 ultra just another high-end smartphone or does it truly stand out let’s find out.

The 6.85 in uninterrupted AMOLED display with very thin bezels

We’ll start off by checking out the design and build of the Z 70 ultra up front we have the 6.85 in uninterrupted AMOLED display with very thin bezels. The frame of the phone itself is made out of aluminum. It come up as 233 to the right we have the nice and click volume and textured red power button along with the dual stage. Camera button down at the bottom but we’ll be checking that out later around the bottom of the phone we have the 3.2 gen USBC port. A microphone speaker and SIM card tray. So no SD card compatibility here unfortunately to the left of the phone we have the switch slider which can be mapped to do various functions.

We get to see the Regal yellow color and the soft Stardust matte. As Nubia put it and of course the star of the show cameras themselves which is a triple lens setup with lots of fancy features. I have to say the phone does feel nice and premium in the hand with a good heft to it and though it does have a flat frame. It doesn’t dig into my hand at all build quality on here seems absolutely solid with no creaking or groaning. it’s also ip68 and ip69 rated.

z70 ultra comes with a 1.5 k 6.85 in Amoled display

The design and build let’s dive into the display and see what this screen really has to offer first off we’ll go over the main specs the z70 ultra comes with a 1.5 k 6.85 in AMOLED display offering a resolution of 126x 2688 equating to a pixel density of 431 refresh rate is up to 144 HZ. We’re looking at our Peak brightness of around 2,000 nits with support for HDR 1.It is glass Gen 2 so we’ll jump into the display settings to see what customizations are available. so we have your usual kind of generic things like dark mode we also have read mode changes the color temperature of the screen slightly eye Comfort gives.

We also have color mode and temperature itself so you can pick from colorful standard or soft and you can adjust the Hue from the color wheel brightness like, I said up to 2,000 nits and you also have sunlight mode. So it will get extra bright in actual sunlight. You can keep the screen on while looking and when it comes to screen refresh rate. We have Auto 60 HZ, 90 HZ, 120 HZ and 144 Hz.

Nubia Z 70 Ultra

I’m going to leave that on auto and then you have tiny screen display adjustments, where you can adjust from low medium and high. So you can turn that on from the settings and you have various options you can have it set to always show or display for 10 seconds. After tap the screen or you can have a custom schedule and you have loads of options to pick from.

Notice there’s a very minimal color shift slightly to a cooler temperature, Which is normal behavior of an Amoled display otherwise wing angles are really good. YouTube playback maxes out at 4K 60 FPS with HDR support. So if you’re planning on watching content on here The display has got you covered the panel itself is manufactured by Boe and smartphones like, OnePlus 13 used.

Big displays which I’m waiting for the global release of and We’ll definitely be reviewing that when it becomes available for Netflix this device supports wide one level three unfortunately and also supports SD playback. So on Netflix this means you won’t be getting the best playback with support for only standard definition. So experience on here is not going to be the best and That’s a shame for Amazon Prime playback is supported at 1080p full HD Prime video.

I’m away 4K Ultra HD playback on televisions, We also have support for wireless casting and you can mirror your screen or cast your media wirelessly to compatible TVs or displays on the same Wi-Fi network. So through the USBC Port you can connect directly to a monitor or TV and That’s why HDMI adapter. We do not get here in the UK much at all currently we’re going through a storm the display performs fine the screen legibility was really good obviously you’re going to get the usual Reflections and glaze in more brighter environments but That’s expected on a glass panel this display offers an excellent balance of sharpness color accuracy and brightness in different conditions.

These speakers provide a balanced sound

Talk about the speakers and the audio quality on The Z 70 Ultra phone comes with a dual speaker setup with a bottom firing speaker and the a is doubling up As the second speaker, They’re DTS tuned and they support highs audio so we can expect some decent sound from these we’ll have a look at the audio settings.

Overall these speakers provide a balanced sound I would say there isn’t much depth to them as I would have liked it to be, there’s a simor base there maybe but nothing crazy they’re just your you know normal kind of speakers that you would expect on a smartphone.

Os updates are available for up to 3 years

The z70 ultra is powered by the Snapdragon Elite CPU which offers significant performance improvement over the previous SD gen 3 it’s pair with an adreno 780 GPU in terms of memory we’re looking at three different LPDR 5x Ram options available in 12 16 and 24 GB and UFS is 4.0 available in 256 512 and 1 tab sizes.

Nubia is using their nebula AI OS skin on top of Android 15 here and When reaching out to Nubia regarding OS updates they stated OS updates are available for up to 3 years and Regular updates will be released monthly. You can also add extended Ram up to 12 GB, If you choose to do so and this is also known as virtual Ram as the phone here is 16 GB adding another 12 would give us a total of 28 GB of RAM.

When it comes to benchmarks have a quick look at geek bench 6, So we got a single score of 3,151 and a multi-core score of 9,772. this is a 39% increase on single core and 37% increase on multicore, when it comes to read and WR speeds we get a sequential right of 472 mga b and a sequential read of 1.28. So quite High read and right speeds on the drives there on 3D Mark Wildlife extreme test. That’s the highest I’ve seen on any device that I’ve reviewed and then in Performance monitoring, We can see the frame rate range from 23 fps to 43. Benchmark it scored 2,561 298. That’s a very high score there on the global rankings that puts it in third place after the Vivo X200 Pro the SD Elite chip is a beast clearly again compared to the Z 60 Ultra this is a 22% increase.

We’ll have a look at what is available in the settings so in Connected devices we have our usual options for connectivity and things like NFC VPN and Android auto theme and personalization. Lets us customize various things from wallpaper lock screen app icons fingerprint animation, We have the settings for the camera key, You can map it to different functions.

50 mega pixel ultra wide camera and a 64 mega pixel Teli camera

We have the rear cameras which compromises of there cameras itself these being the 50 mega p main camera 50 mega p Ultra wide camera and a 64 mega p Teli camera and The front camera which is an under display camera comes in at 16 megapixels. I feel like I’ve said camera about 100 times the main camera is 35 mm. So we’ll check out what the phone is capable of capturing soon but first, we’ll have a look at what the camera app itself brings us so the different modes we have our camera family Starburst Street Pro Photo Video and that’s saying something about pre-recording.

If we look out for we can see we have your kind of generic settings from the drop down here if we hop in further we have intelligent be tracking autofocus multi-point autofocus automatic night schene automatic portrait. So it’s Pack full of different options in the video we have up to 8K recording 4K allows you 30 60 or 120 FPS and 8K maxes out at 30 FPS only and in the settings here normal staff video encoder format H 264 H 265 or HDR 10 I.

We have tracking autofocus and things like that and again underwater filming control volume key for Zoom. We have your three different Zoom levels or focal points 18 35 and 85 mm and if you want to really dial things in you can go to PR mode. So it gives you granular control over so many different aspects settings wise similar kind of setup but you can choose peaking Focus histogram here roll graph if you want that and various other options.

Then street is kind of similar but gives you more options with the focal points or Zoom levels with 18 super wide Main and again you have loads of options with the settings button here. I’ve taken on this phone testing out what the rear camera is like autofocus is nice and quick quality seems really good. As well now 85 m give me. A lens checking out video recording see what the image stabilization conditions like just walking down the road looks like. If that’s any different from the previous video where it was off looks like it’s a lot more stable.

The Z 70 ultra comes with a 6,150 MAH silicon carbon battery

It comes with a 6,150 MAH silicon carbon analid battery. which you can call an advanced version of the traditional lithium iron batteries, Offering a high energy storage capacity longer battery life and improved stability to name a few advantages. It supports 80w fast charging charging from empty takes around 42 minutes. So we also have charge separation which allows the device to be charge by power and not the battery.

You can turn that on and allow it to Auto turn off if you’d like and in more setting we have scenario AI optimization adaptive 5G power saving settings. And then dark mode settings here scenario AI optimization optimized when the apps are not in Ed. In my experience battery life on here was really quite good considering. It’s 6,150 milliamp in my testing. I managed to get two solid days of medium to light use obviously.

Now we’ll test the Cod quality on the other end so using another device. We listen to how this phone’s microphone captures my voice during the call7 is like. So how it transmits voice to another phone. This is receiving on the Moto e14 quality on both ends transmitting and the a piece itself was crystal clear for me.

Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Galaxy A15 5G display comparison

Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Galaxy A15 5G display comparison

Brightness, refresh rate, and color quality compared in detail

The display is one of the most defining aspects of a smartphone experience, and both the Nothing Phone 3A Lite and Samsung Galaxy A15 5G aim to deliver vibrant visuals at an affordable price. While the Galaxy A15 5G already has an official specification sheet, the Nothing Phone 3A Lite’s display details have surfaced through credible leaks and reports. Here’s a full comparison of how these two phones stack up in terms of screen technology, brightness, refresh rate, and overall visual performance.

Starting with display size and type, the Galaxy A15 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels. It offers around 396 pixels per inch, resulting in crisp text and detailed visuals. The Super AMOLED panel produces rich blacks and vivid colors, which is a signature strength of Samsung displays. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite, on the other hand, is expected to feature a slightly larger 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. While both use AMOLED technology, Nothing’s display is rumored to deliver slightly better color calibration and uniform brightness distribution, giving it a smoother and more premium appearance.

When it comes to refresh rate, Samsung’s Galaxy A15 5G offers a 90Hz panel, which is a noticeable improvement over standard 60Hz displays. It makes scrolling, animations, and app transitions appear fluid. However, the Nothing Phone 3A Lite reportedly supports a 120Hz refresh rate, matching what’s seen on higher-end midrange phones. This higher refresh rate enhances smoothness during gameplay, web browsing, and user interface navigation. While 90Hz feels fast enough for most users, the 120Hz on the 3A Lite provides an even more responsive experience that feels closer to flagship-level displays.

Nothing Phone 3A Lite vs Galaxy A15 5G display comparison

Brightness is another critical factor in real-world use. The Galaxy A15 5G peaks at around 800 nits in high brightness mode, which performs adequately under sunlight but can struggle under direct glare. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite, based on leaked specifications, is expected to deliver up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness. This difference means the 3A Lite’s screen will remain readable even in bright outdoor environments, offering better contrast and less reflection. Users who often use their phones outside or in daylight will benefit from the higher brightness and improved visibility.

Color accuracy and contrast quality are strong on both devices but slightly different in presentation. The Galaxy A15’s Super AMOLED panel delivers deep contrast and a more saturated color tone that appeals to those who enjoy punchy visuals for streaming or gaming. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is expected to favor natural color reproduction, keeping shades closer to real-life tones. For movie watchers or users who prefer cinematic, high-contrast visuals, Samsung’s display remains one of the best in its price class. But for those who prefer balanced tones and minimal color shifting at different angles, Nothing’s approach might feel more refined.

In terms of protective glass and display durability, Samsung equips the Galaxy A15 5G with standard tempered glass and an Eye Comfort Shield mode that reduces blue light emission. The Nothing Phone 3A Lite is expected to use Panda Glass or Gorilla Glass protection, though exact details may vary by region. Both phones are designed to handle everyday wear, though Nothing’s display reportedly has slightly slimmer bezels, giving it a more modern, edge-to-edge look.

From a usability perspective, the Galaxy A15 5G’s 90Hz screen and Super AMOLED technology already provide an enjoyable, bright, and color-rich experience. It’s excellent for casual users who prioritize dependable performance and battery efficiency. However, the Nothing Phone 3A Lite takes a more premium approach, with a higher refresh rate, better brightness, and more advanced calibration that makes it more suited for gamers, content streamers, and users who demand a flagship-like feel without paying flagship prices.

In conclusion, the Galaxy A15 5G delivers solid visual performance for its price, with deep blacks and reliable quality. Yet the Nothing Phone 3A Lite appears to go a step further with smoother motion, higher brightness, and a larger screen. For users who care about viewing clarity and outdoor readability, the 3A Lite is likely to offer a superior experience overall. Between the two, Samsung’s panel is dependable and colorful, while Nothing’s display brings a premium-level smoothness and brightness advantage that stands out in the midrange segment.

The 3A Lite offers a budget-friendly option with essential features, making it suitable for users who prioritize affordability.
