Realme P3 Pro Reviewers Appreciate Its Balanced Nature
Realme P3 Pro has earned a growing fan base not just among buyers but also from tech reviewers who see it as one of the more balanced phones in its segment. While some phones go all out in one area and cut corners in others, the P3 Pro keeps everything steady without any major flaws.
Reviewers note that the Realme P3 Pro performs well across the board. It may not have a single standout headline feature, but that is exactly what makes it appealing. The performance, battery, display, and build all work in sync, creating a smooth and dependable experience. This approach is what many now call the mark of a well-thought-out product.
The software experience is another area that receives praise. It stays light without too much bloatware, offering fast app loading and smooth transitions. Reviewers often highlight how Realme has tuned the interface to stay snappy even with extended use. This balanced feel makes it more enjoyable during day-to-day tasks, without any frustration creeping in over time.
Battery life is solid and consistent. Most users, as well as reviewers, agree that it easily lasts through a full day even with regular usage. It charges quickly enough to not feel inconvenient and holds up well under different kinds of workloads. This makes the phone reliable, which is a trait often missed in newer flashy models.
Reviewers also appreciate that the Realme P3 Pro doesn’t try to do too much at once. It focuses on what really matters. The display is bright and easy on the eyes, the camera setup delivers decent results without going overboard with filters, and the build feels durable without looking cheap.
Overall, Realme P3 Pro has won favor for offering a little bit of everything while avoiding the common pitfalls that come with chasing trends. Reviewers see it as a phone that does its job quietly and efficiently. It may not make headlines every day, but for those looking for value and balance, this phone is proving to be one of the smarter picks of the year.
Which specification balances cost, performance and storage wisely?
When selecting the right RAM and storage variant of the Redmi 15 for UK use, you’ll want to weigh how much memory, storage and future-proofing you truly need versus how much extra you’re willing to spend. Below is a breakdown of what each combo offers, how much extra it likely costs, and which version makes the most sense under different user scenarios.
For the Redmi 15 in the UK market, two variants stand out: one with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, and another with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The 6/128 model lands at an attractive around £159 at launch; the 8/256 model employs a modest price bump (around £189) yet doubles the storage and increases RAM by 2 GB.
Here’s how to decide which combo is “best value”. If you are a light or moderate user—streaming, messaging, social media, standard apps—the 6 GB/128 GB variant often suffices. You’ll have plenty of room for apps and media for a year or two, and the cost is kept low. On the other hand, if you want to keep the phone longer, store lots of games, videos, high-res photos, or expect more multitasking, the 8 GB/256 GB version becomes the smarter investment.
Storage is a key factor for long-term satisfaction. With 128 GB you will be comfortable now, but downloads, apps, high-res videos, and photos add up fast. Choosing 256 GB gives you breathing room and reduces the chances of running out of space or needing cloud storage. Similarly, 8 GB of RAM supports smoother multitasking, better performance over time and minor gains in future-proofing.
Considering the relatively small cost difference between the variants (≈ £30), the upgrade from 6/128 to 8/256 offers a strong value uplift. If you expect to keep the device for two or more years and want fewer compromises, the higher-spec version is likely the better choice. If budget is your top priority and your usage is predictable and moderate, then the base variant hits excellent value.
In summary: for most UK buyers, the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant offers the best balance of cost, performance and future-proofing. If your budget is tiny or you upgrade frequently, the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant remains a very competent and cost-effective option.

Redmi 15 sets new benchmark for battery endurance in mid-range phones
Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 15, and its standout feature is undoubtedly the massive 7,000 mAh battery. The company claims this powerhouse can deliver up to two days of use on a single charge, a bold statement that has already caught attention among smartphone enthusiasts. The Redmi 15 marks Xiaomi’s latest step in expanding long-lasting performance within its affordable lineup.
The new model debuts with a large 6.9-inch Full HD+ display featuring a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, offering a balance between entertainment and efficiency. While the big display is expected to draw more power, Xiaomi says the upgraded silicon-carbon battery technology inside ensures longer health and improved energy density. This enhancement is designed to maintain consistent battery performance even after hundreds of charge cycles.
The Redmi 15 supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging, allowing it to serve as a backup power source for other gadgets. Xiaomi says users can expect around 50% charge in under an hour, which is impressive given the massive battery size. Despite the large capacity, the device remains relatively slim at just under 9mm, showing that Xiaomi has worked to manage size and portability.
In India, the phone has launched at a starting price of ₹14,999, making it one of the most affordable large-battery phones in its class. The combination of long battery life, large display, and 5G connectivity places it directly against competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy M15 and Realme’s Narzo 70 Pro. The Redmi 15 aims to dominate this growing mid-range segment focused on value and endurance.
Xiaomi’s marketing highlights the “two-day battery” claim, but as always, real-world performance depends on user habits. Heavy gaming, high brightness, and 5G streaming can quickly reduce battery life. However, for typical users who browse, stream moderately, and make calls, two days of use seems achievable. The new silicon-carbon anode tech also contributes to higher charge retention over time, which could make a noticeable difference in daily use.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor, ensuring efficiency alongside performance. Combined with MIUI optimisations, Xiaomi has reportedly tuned the software to manage power consumption smartly. Adaptive refresh rate settings also help extend usage time, automatically lowering refresh rates during less demanding tasks.
Design-wise, the Redmi 15 features a matte finish back, Gorilla Glass protection, and dual stereo speakers. It comes in three color options, including Midnight Blue, Titanium Grey, and Coral Red. The inclusion of an IP54 rating gives it light splash resistance, adding durability to the package. The 7,000 mAh battery has also been tested for safety under high temperature conditions, according to Xiaomi’s product data.
While Xiaomi’s “two-day battery” slogan sounds ambitious, independent testing will ultimately confirm how it performs under real-world conditions. Early reviews indicate that moderate users can easily cross 48 hours between charges, especially with balanced settings. For those constantly on 5G networks or gaming, a top-up by the evening of the second day may still be necessary.
Overall, the Redmi 15 brings a strong proposition to mid-range buyers seeking performance, design, and longevity in one package. Its large battery, coupled with practical charging speeds, ensures peace of mind for travellers and professionals. The reverse charging feature is a bonus, effectively turning the phone into a compact power bank when needed.
The Redmi 15 proves that Xiaomi is continuing to push boundaries in the mid-range space. By offering a powerful 7,000 mAh battery and premium features at an accessible price, it aims to redefine what users can expect from budget-friendly 5G smartphones. For UK consumers awaiting availability, the phone could set a new trend for all-day reliability without constant charging anxiety.
Best add-ons to enhance your Redmi 15 experience from day one
The Redmi 15 has entered the market with powerful features and a premium design for its price, and choosing the right accessories on the first day can make a big difference. With its massive 6.9-inch 144Hz display, strong battery, and sleek frame, protection and performance boosters should be your top priorities.
A tempered glass screen protector is the first essential. The Redmi 15’s large display deserves solid protection from scratches and drops. Opting for a nano-film or military-grade glass gives added strength without affecting touch sensitivity or display clarity. It’s a small investment that can save a lot in the long run.
Next comes a protective case. The phone’s polycarbonate back looks stylish but can be prone to scratches. A shockproof or hybrid case with raised corners can prevent damage during accidental drops. Wallet-style flip covers also provide 360° protection and extra functionality for carrying cards or cash.
For power users, a fast charger is another must-have. Although the Redmi 15 supports 33W charging, Xiaomi’s official SonicCharge 2.0 adapter is highly recommended for consistent performance and battery health. Keeping a second charger or a reliable USB-C cable for travel ensures you’re never caught with low power.
A power bank is a smart companion, especially given the phone’s massive 7000 mAh battery. A compact 10,000 mAh or 20,000 mAh power bank ensures you stay charged during trips or long commutes. Xiaomi’s own Mi Power Bank lineup offers fast-charging compatibility, making it a reliable choice.
Audio lovers should look into wireless earbuds or headphones that complement the Redmi 15’s entertainment potential. With a 144Hz display and Dolby-enhanced sound, pairing it with Redmi Buds 5 or Mi Neckband Pro gives a premium multimedia experience at an affordable cost.
Don’t overlook a screen cleaning kit or microfiber cloth. The phone’s large glass surface collects fingerprints easily, so regular cleaning helps maintain a clear, vibrant look without affecting sensitivity. It’s a simple but valuable addition for everyday care.
If you travel frequently, a car mount and Type-C to Type-A cable are practical buys. A stable car mount helps with GPS navigation while driving, and a spare cable ensures fast charging in the car or at work. These accessories make the Redmi 15 a more dependable daily driver.
For users who take a lot of photos or store large media files, a high-speed microSD card (if supported) can expand storage efficiently. Choosing a Class 10 or UHS-I card will maintain fast read and write speeds, keeping performance steady even when saving large videos or games.
Lastly, a Bluetooth speaker or compact stand can elevate your entertainment experience. The Redmi 15’s large display pairs perfectly with a portable speaker for watching films or gaming. A lightweight stand also helps with hands-free use during video calls or movie sessions.
Overall, these day-one accessories turn the Redmi 15 into a more durable, convenient, and versatile smartphone. With the right combination of protection, power, and audio gear, you’ll unlock the full potential of Xiaomi’s new budget powerhouse right from the start.
A Smart Choice for Students Who Want Flagship Features on a Student Budget
For students in the UK looking for a phone that punches above its weight, the Redmi K90 Pro Max delivers impressive specs at a surprising price. Its launch price in the UK starts from around £440, making it far more affordable than traditional “premium” phones. Yet it brings a host of high-end features: a large 6.9-inch 2K resolution display, a top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, and a 50 MP triple-camera setup including periscope zoom. These choices make it well suited to students who want strong performance for study, gaming, content creation or everyday multitasking.
On the display front, the screen is built for visual richness: 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and high brightness for outdoor use. For students, that means smoother scrolling through lecture slides, sharper visuals for design work, and vibrant media playback during breaks.
Performance is another major plus. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip ensures that heavy apps, multitasking and future-proofing are covered. Whether you’re editing video, using virtual desktops, or gaming between lectures, the phone is well positioned for demands beyond typical budget phones.
Camera capability stands out for student use as well. The K90 Pro Max offers a triple 50 MP setup that handles everything from quick snaps to more serious social content or project work. The periscope zoom gives added flexibility for photography or video tasks beyond standard point-and-shoot. Battery and charging are also student-friendly features. With a large capacity battery and fast-charging support, you’re less likely to be tethered to a plug all day. That’s especially useful on campus where access to charging points may be limited between classes.
From a budget perspective, this phone hits a sweet spot. It gives “premium” features at a cost far below many flagship phones. That means students don’t need to compromise too much on performance, camera or display just to stay within a tighter budget. However, “budget” doesn’t mean sacrifice-free. Some premium phones may offer better brand recognition, specialised service ecosystems or ultra-fine calibrations for pro workflows. But for most students these trade-offs will be minimal, and the value proposition from the K90 Pro Max remains compelling.
One caveat: students should check for student discount deals, payment plans or e-promotions available in the UK, as these can further reduce the cost and make the phone an even smarter buy. Also factor in accessories—case, screen protector and perhaps a charger—so you get the full use case without compromise. In summary: if you’re a student in the UK wanting a powerful, future-looking smartphone without paying flagship prices, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is an excellent option. It delivers many of the features you’d associate with top-end phones while remaining accessible for a student budget.
Redmi 15 surprises the UK market with high-end features
Xiaomi’s Redmi 15 has caught UK consumers by surprise after a recent leak revealed its impressive specifications paired with a remarkably low price. The device is expected to launch soon in the country, bringing several flagship-level features within reach of budget-conscious buyers.
According to early reports, the Redmi 15 will start at around £159 for the 6GB + 128GB model, with an 8GB + 256GB variant priced near £189. This pricing undercuts most mid-range rivals while offering performance and design elements typically reserved for higher-end smartphones.
The handset is said to feature a massive 7,000 mAh battery, which stands out as one of the largest in its segment. It supports 33W fast charging, ensuring users spend less time plugged in, and even includes 18W reverse charging, allowing it to power up other devices on the go.
Xiaomi appears to have gone big on visuals too. The Redmi 15 is tipped to come with a 6.9-inch display offering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Such specifications promise a crisp and fluid viewing experience, appealing to gamers and binge-watchers alike.
Under the hood, the UK model reportedly uses the Snapdragon 685 chipset, a capable 4G processor offering efficient performance for daily use. Though it lacks 5G connectivity, Xiaomi’s decision likely helps keep the cost low while maintaining reliability for most networks across the UK.
In terms of memory, users can choose between 6GB or 8GB RAM paired with up to 256GB of internal storage, giving ample space for multitasking and media storage. This balance of speed and capacity positions the phone as one of the strongest options in its price range.
Camera performance also gets attention with a 50MP main lens supported by an AI-enhanced setup, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. While not flagship-grade, the results are expected to be more than sufficient for everyday photography needs.
The design brings a touch of durability, featuring IP64 dust and splash resistance, along with a modern finish that looks far from entry-level. Xiaomi’s focus on build quality adds to the appeal, giving users confidence in long-term use.
For many UK buyers, the Redmi 15 offers the right balance between practicality and performance. It’s ideal for students, professionals, or anyone wanting a powerful secondary device without overspending. The only notable omission is 5G, which may not matter to those who prioritise battery life and value.
In a market where smartphone prices continue to rise, the Redmi 15 shows that quality and affordability can coexist. With its large display, massive battery, and stylish design, Xiaomi has crafted a phone that challenges expectations and could easily become one of the UK’s best-value releases of the year.
Xiaomi is preparing a significant software update for the Redmi 15 that focuses on improving its photography experience. While the phone already performs well for its budget, the upcoming camera update promises to bring smarter tools and refined processing to make the most of its 50MP main sensor.
One of the headline features expected in the rollout is Dynamic Shots, a new capture mode designed to add movement and cinematic depth to photos. Instead of simple stills, this mode records short bursts of motion and automatically blends frames to create more dynamic results. It aims to give everyday photos a sense of life without requiring professional editing.
Another major addition is AI Erase, an intelligent editing feature that lets users remove unwanted objects from photos directly in the gallery. Whether it’s a passer-by in the background or clutter in the frame, AI Erase uses on-device processing to fill in the area seamlessly. Xiaomi plans to make this feature available first on the 8GB RAM variant of the Redmi 15.
Alongside these tools, the update is expected to refine AI scene detection and improve colour balance in daylight and indoor shots. Xiaomi has focused on tuning image processing to deliver more natural skin tones and better contrast handling, addressing one of the main user feedback points from earlier reviews.
Low-light performance should also see a modest boost. The upcoming patch reportedly adjusts exposure control and noise reduction in Night Mode, resulting in sharper details and less grain. Combined with existing AI enhancements, users can expect improved clarity in evening or indoor conditions.
The software update will also enhance portrait mode edge detection, allowing for more accurate background blur. Xiaomi’s newer algorithms are designed to detect outlines more precisely, ensuring hair and finer details remain sharper.
For video creators, the Redmi 15’s camera app is getting stability tweaks and smoother frame transitions. This aims to reduce flicker during panning shots and make handheld clips look steadier without relying heavily on editing apps.
It’s worth noting that some of these updates, particularly Dynamic Shots and AI Erase, will be regionally phased. UK users can expect the rollout to arrive a few weeks after initial releases in Asia. Checking the “System update” section under Settings will ensure early access once it goes live.
Overall, this upcoming camera update shows Xiaomi’s intent to extend the Redmi 15’s lifespan through software improvements. For a budget device, adding premium AI tools and better low-light tuning is a valuable move. Users who opt for the higher RAM version will get the fullest experience, making it the better long-term option for photography enthusiasts.
In short, Redmi 15 owners can look forward to a smarter, cleaner, and more polished camera system soon — one that makes everyday photography feel more premium without adding to the cost.
A deep dive into the highly anticipated red magic Nova gaming tablet from its powerful internals to its smooth display. This tablet promises to offer an unraveled gaming experience, but does it live up to the hype stick around as we break down.
Itself pop up on the here and we have the red magic Nova itself in this paper sleeve
I’m liking this all black interior. And we have two boxes housing the accessories, We have the 80w charging brick but this is the EU version. I believe but red magic kindly provide a three pin adapter for UK buyers damn that’s going to stick out from the wall we get a red USB C to USB C cable which is nice and thick. A quick start guide and finally some cool red magic stickers with metallic effects.
The design of the tablet up front we have the 10.9 in LCD display, To the right we have two speakers the 3.1 Gen 2 USBC Port which does support external displays more on that later and a microphone around the bottom are the pin connectors for the magnetic keyboard which I unfortunately couldn’t purchase because of it not being in stock when I purchased this tablet to the left we have two more speakers and the power/lock button which is also the fingerprint reader. And then up top are the volume buttons nice and clicky.
Two more microphones and the Magnetic attachment for the red magic stylus more on that later too we have the front-facing 20 mega pixel camera and turning to the back. That’s where the part is at the red magic Nova has a metal unit body design in an anodized finish and up top running the length of the tablet is this futuristic looking glass enclosure which is housing the fan processor and Camera along with cooling components.
It also has a custom RGB lighting component which up with media playback charging and other functions. It’s a nice element differentiating it from the sea of land backs of tablets things missing on this tablet though there’s no SD card slot and also no cellular connectivity options at least for the UK version also it would have been nice to have seen a headphone jack on here.
A highlight of the Red Magic Nova is the built in cooling fan which effectively prevents the tablet from overheating and affecting performance with things such as throttling. And they have set up the tablet with 3D internal circulation air do there’s n layers of heat dissipation which can reduce core temperatures by 25°. Red magic claiming that is the first tablet with PC level 3D heat pipe technology and then these are kind of the dimensions of the various components.
We’ll have a quick look at the red magic Nova stylist in the Box we get a user guide a spear tip stus itself which is finished in this matte black plastic and has two action buttons on it it attaches magnetically to the top of the tablet and charges via NFC from here too with a battery life up to 16 hours of continuous.
Nova has a 2.8 k 10.9 in LCD display with a 16 by 10 aspect ratio
Now for the display the red magic Nova has a 2.8 k 10.9 in LCD display with a 16 by 10 aspect ratio and up to 144 HZ refresh rate. It is also STS certified for low blue light and comes with 840 HZ touch sampling rate Peak brightness is 550 nits so not exactly the brightest but it’s reasonable. And then additional settings are things like dog mode read mode Night Light you can adjust your color temperature from colorful standard to soft. You also have your generic color functions and then for refresh rate. We have various options from Auto all the way up to 144 Hz. YouTube playback supports 4K 60 FPS HDR, Of course the display doesn’t have HDR compatibility and Playback runs fine with colors, but we are getting that super contrast of an AMOLED panel.
We have web level one on Netflix and Full HD playback resolution and of course no HDR capabilities, Which I have to say after using the honor magic pad 2 really does make the viewing experience so much better but the LCD panel on the red magic Nova is good the high 312 PPI makes everything look nice and sharp and 144 HZ refresh rate is Buty smooth.
Viewing angles are typical of an LCD display with a slight color shift to warmer tons at extremer Angles and you can see that more on whiter backgrounds. As for the red magic NOA stylist it’s a decent pen which supports Palm rejection. And latency isn’t too bad but in real life use it’s nice and precise and the lightweight of the pen is good for long usage sessions. Outdoor visibility isn’t too bad to be honest I was expecting it to be worse but in the brighter conditions the display is still legible so that’s good.
We have four speakers on the Redmagic Nova flanking both sides of the tablet these are DTS tuned and in the settings, you can turn DTS sound on and off. You can also select your headphone type and then you have various sound settings such as smart selection music so you can adjust from different EQS, or you have movie and game.
RedMagic Nova Gaming Pad is an innovative gaming tablet that offers unparalleled performance and cutting-edge technology. The device is equipped with a high-quality speaker system that delivers immersive sound quality for an enhanced gaming experience.
When it comes to Performance and one of the highlights of the red magic Nova
We’re working with the Snapdragon 8 & gen 3 leading version. CPU which is boosted to 3.4 GHz and Adreno 750 GPU, frequency increased to 1 GHz, I have the 16 GB Ram version but it’s also available in 12 GB. Redmagic do promise one year OS upgrade up to Android 15 and for Ram you can expand that by an additional 12 GB totaling 26 GB, so you’ve got RAM for days. Benchmarking geek bench 6 we get single core score of 2,261 multicore score of 6,740 so as expected high scores Wildlife extreme stress test.
We can see maintained quite good Loops performance range with a little bit of dips here and there and the performance monitor showed us the battery went from 34 to 21%. The battery temperature from 24 to 40 and a frame rate of 20 fps to 30 FPS. For read R speeds we can see 742 on right and 1.8 on re just going to connect my external drive runing a file from my USBC 3.0 external hard drive to the red magic Nova we a bit slow looks like it’s Runing around 10 megabyte a second but I guess 3.1 compatible Hardware would perform a lot better. We’ll check out what we have in the settings, So normal stuff in Wi-Fi obviously Bluetooth.
I’ve got three different connections here connectivity air plan mode, Hotpot and tethering connected devices. We have Zed smart cost which allows you to cost your tablet other devices we have Styler settings and obviously keyboard and touchpad.
If you have that accessory, you have sync mind AI system engine which is kind of like an overview of your tablets current state and performance. And then various options for the cooling fan you can have balance or fast cooling and various other options for fast cooling whilst charging you can mute the fan during calls. You can have a startup light and a startup sound and then just generally browsing around the tablet I mean the OS is okay it’s not the best out there it’s not the most polished but it’s okay.
We have a quick look at control panel, and you can also use popup windows with with a limit of three so just an example here and I used three different popup windows, and the tablet was running absolutely fine so it can handle those and then we’ll have two pop-up windows with one main window and again running absolutely fine.
Upload times are super Snappy as you would expect because of the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and general overall performance of the tablet is absolutely fine no hiccups that I noticed, everything loads super-fast and super quick. We’ll just open up a bunch of different apps here and then we’ll launch a heavy app like called of De war zone and see how the Ram manages. If I come out of that and go back to a previous app, and it’s absolutely fine app is still running in the background didn’t have to reset or refresh.
Red magic Nova has a dedicated app called game space
Now for the store of the show, I what this is built for gaming the red magic Nova has a dedicated app called game space and this gaming Hub provides a suite of tools to optimize your gaming sessions. You can optimize performance from Eco battle to rise. You can also adjust GPU settings from standard power saving to high quality or you can have custom and adjust as you please. We also have various plugins that can further enhance your gaming from AI trigger, Scout mode, key remapping and so many others.
You can use them to your hops contain pin and gravity X allows you to add peripherals across a range of Brands and you can customize them as you please I’ve connected my PS5 controller for my gaming session. We’ll start off the gaming test with Cod war zone and in game we can access the game Space settings from a side Spide on either side of the screen all of your options laid out in front of you.
You have all your plugins your various options on the right-hand side right refresh Ray turning the fan on and off and then obviously you can change the mode of the CPU and also do not disturb for the settings. We have Peak visual quality, and I’ll set everything else too high to really push it to the max.
I have a timer on the right so how long I’ve actually been gaming we’re starting off with 100% battery the screen brightness is approximately 75% speakers are around 70% and right off the bat the game is running a dream the peak Graphics make the game look, so good wouldn’t say console level but close enough and we can see the game is running a steady 60 FPS with maybe slight deeps down to 57.
When there’s a bit more action in the game play, so 15 minutes in and I’ll switch down from Diablo mode to rise and see how it performs still managing to hit 60 FPS but we’re seeing the dips here. And there down to 47 and then we’ll come down to Eco and how that PHS and we can see that it’s limited the game to 30 FPS. So now here near as smooth as it was before but if you want to minimize battery drain then this would be the way to go and half an hour in and we’ll jump back into rise and see, how it handles that and it’s holding 60 FPS.
RedMagic Nova
performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is beastly, and it can handle those demanding graphics with no problem. So, after nearly half an hour of cold war zone the CPU temperature is around 41° and battery at 36. The fans have been running so the temperatures are reasonable and looks like the fans have been dissipating, that heat well, and battery is down to 90% so we lost 10% in that session.
Now we’ll check out Genjin impact and I’ve set all the settings to the highest possible currently running in Rise mode. And we have a steady 60 FPS, and the game looks really nice really good graphics and it’s running as smooth as it can even with more action sequences, it holds 60 FPS solid with no hiccups switching down to balanced. And the game still runs at a steady 60 FPS. So, no problem, there 40 minutes in all back-to-back gaming and the Redmagic Nova is performing really well maintaining High FPS.
I can feel it warming up a little bit around the back and then after 40 minutes the CPU temperature is at 41 and the batter is at 35°. So, the cooling fans are doing a good job in other tablets by now in more experience those temperatures would have been in the high 40s, and the battery is down to 86%. Holding up well I would say we’ll check out Jaggard and again I’ll set everything to the highest possible in the graphic settings and in jar, it looks like FPS is capped at 45 so although not hitting 60 FPS. It’s still nice and smooth and the game has no problem maintaining.
That 45 FPS come to meet even in more intense scenes there is some fluctuation of FBS dipping down to 42 here and there but nothing drastic and it’s running out running without any hiccups or Jitters. And after 50 minutes temperatures were still good, and battery is down to 83% so overall quite impressed with the performance. We’ll check out GTA VC. And I’ve hooked up the Redmagic Nova to an external monitor via USBC to HDMI adapter and the game runs absolutely fine. As we would expect not the most demanding game but ijy to be able to play you can also obviously link wirelessly to a Telly by find connecting wi the cable is more responsive.
I for pubg the highest graphic quality is being Ultra HDR but when you select that the frame rate is capped to ultra so on those settings the FPS is capped at 40 the game itself looks really good with the graphics and is running smooth enough get in the car but, If you do drop the graphics down to HDR then you can select extreme frame rate which will give you 60 FPS and the game runs fine with no problem at that frame rate.
I guess that could be down to internet connection as well but being able to play VI this method. And running those PS5 Graphics is an absolute joy and the same thing for Red Dead Redemption 2 with no problem screaming the game and again an enjoyable experience after all of that gaming. The remote play the red magic Nova does impress you can really push it to the limits with games and the game Space functionality really elevates. That experience temperatures were well managed, and gameplay itself was Sublime also after all of that the battery dropped down to 72% so obviously faster drain because of the gaming.
Battery the red magic Nova comes with a 10,100 mAh battery
Battery the red magic Nova comes with a 10,100 mAh battery, which supports 80 W fast charging with the included charger which can charge this tablet 0 to 100 super-fast 55 minutes. In fact, as claimed by red magic in my use battery was reasonable. We saw whilst gaming and pushing the tablet it will obviously drain faster but that is mitigated a little with the fan but with General light use like browsing web and watching videos. I managed to get 2 days before having to reach for the charger on the PC Mark battery life test with screen brightness at 75% refresh rate set to Auto and speaker volume at 25% it got a score of 7 hours and 45 minutes, which is quite low compared other tablets are reviewed but Benchmark doesn’t exactly translate to real word use all the time.

Final Opinion on RedMagic Astra Tablet Canada Launch
RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet is one of the most powerful Android tablets available in the Canadian market. With high end specifications, strong battery life and an advanced cooling system, it stands out as a top choice for gamers in 2025.
At the price of 729 Canadian dollars, the Astra delivers flagship performance in a mid range budget. It is best suited for users who prioritize smooth gameplay, strong visuals and responsive controls. If you are a gamer looking for a reliable and fast tablet for daily use, the RedMagic Astra is a smart investment.
Users who have spent a few days with the Redmi 14C 5G say it performs surprisingly well in day-to-day tasks. Opening apps like YouTube, WhatsApp, Chrome, and Instagram is quick and smooth, especially for a phone at this price point. Scrolling is made more fluid thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, which is rarely found in budget smartphones. Most buyers didn’t expect this level of responsiveness from a phone under $150.
Battery life stands out in real-world use
One of the most talked-about features is battery life. The 5160mAh battery consistently lasts over a full day for moderate users, and even heavy users get through a long day without needing a second charge. Streaming, calling, and using social apps barely take a toll on battery, which makes this phone a favorite for students, travelers, and working professionals who stay out most of the day.
Build quality better than price suggests
The Redmi 14C 5G may be a budget phone, but users say it doesn’t feel cheap. The rear panel has a matte finish that resists fingerprints and gives a decent grip. The phone feels solid in hand, and the button placement is ergonomic. For many first-time buyers or those upgrading from older models, the design feels fresh and far better than what they expected from a budget 5G device.
Decent for casual gaming and multitasking
Surprisingly, casual gaming is possible without much lag. Games like Free Fire, Subway Surfers, and Clash of Clans run without major frame drops. The phone stays cool during short gaming sessions, and background apps like music or browser tabs don’t slow it down if you’re using the 6GB RAM variant. Users with the 4GB model note occasional app reloads but nothing that affects light usage.
Real-life camera use is acceptable
For those taking quick photos in daylight or during casual moments, the camera performs reasonably well. It may not match premium devices in low-light shots, but most users say the camera is good enough for social media uploads and video calls. The front camera works well for video chats and online meetings, though results depend on lighting.
Overall experience exceeds expectations
The Redmi 14C 5G is proving to be more than just an entry-level phone. In real-life use, it performs above what users anticipated, with strong battery life, decent build, and good performance for the basics. It might not be perfect for gamers or content creators, but for everyday needs, users are finding it better than expected.
Top accessories to protect your Redmi 15 in the UK
The Redmi 15 is already one of Xiaomi’s most practical mid-range phones, and protecting it properly ensures it stays in top condition for years. With its large 6.9-inch screen and curved edges, finding the right case and screen protector can make all the difference. Here’s a guide to the best options and setup for UK buyers.
For most users, a slim silicone or TPU case offers the ideal balance between grip and comfort. The soft-touch finish adds protection without adding bulk, making it easy to handle despite the phone’s size. Silicone cases also absorb shocks better than hard plastic ones, keeping the corners safe from accidental drops.
If you prefer something more durable, rugged hybrid cases are an excellent choice. These come with dual-layer protection — a hard outer shell and a shock-absorbing inner lining. They provide superior drop resistance, making them perfect for users who travel frequently or work outdoors. Many rugged cases also include raised edges around the camera and display, offering extra safety against scratches.
Transparent clear cases remain a popular option for those who like to show off the Redmi 15’s design and colour. The updated matte-finish back of the phone looks great through a clear case, while still getting protection from everyday wear. Some transparent cases also come with anti-yellowing coatings, maintaining clarity for longer use.
For style-conscious users, textured and designer covers offer a premium look without compromising functionality. Embossed silicone or leather-patterned finishes add grip and a more elegant appearance. These cases are ideal for users who want both aesthetics and practicality in one.
When it comes to screen protection, tempered glass remains the best choice. Always opt for a full-coverage or edge-to-edge glass protector to match the Redmi 15’s large display. A high-quality 9H hardness rating ensures resistance to scratches, minor drops, and smudges. Installing it carefully prevents bubbles and maintains full touchscreen sensitivity.
For lighter protection, nano-film or hydrogel protectors work well. They are thinner, flexible, and better at covering curved edges. Although not as strong as tempered glass, they are easier to replace and provide a smooth touch experience without reducing brightness or sharpness.
Another useful accessory is a camera lens protector. It’s a small piece of tempered glass that sits over the rear camera module, shielding it from scratches and dust. Since the Redmi 15’s dual-lens setup slightly protrudes, this simple addition helps preserve lens clarity over time.
UK buyers should look for accessories with proper fitment for the Redmi 15’s model number, ensuring compatibility with ports and buttons. It’s best to choose products that mention full coverage and anti-shock protection, as these are designed for the phone’s specific dimensions.
For most users, the best combination is a slim TPU or hybrid case paired with a high-quality tempered glass protector. This setup keeps the phone safe from both drops and daily scuffs without compromising usability or comfort.
Overall, protecting the Redmi 15 is easy with the right accessories. Whether you prefer sleek minimalism, rugged durability, or a touch of style, the right case and screen protector ensure your device stays secure, clean, and ready for everyday use in the UK.
