OnePlus Introduces Smarter, Faster, and More Connected OxygenOS 16
OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of OxygenOS 16, the next major update to its Android-based operating system, arriving on October 16, 2025. Built on Android 16, this version represents a significant leap forward in design, performance, and artificial intelligence integration. The company’s new slogan, “Intelligently Yours,” reflects its aim to make user experience more personal, responsive, and connected across all devices.
The most talked-about addition in OxygenOS 16 is its deep integration with Google’s Gemini AI platform. OnePlus has built new AI spaces such as Mind Space and Plus Mind, where users can organize photos, notes, and screenshots in one intelligent hub. These features not only store content but also analyze it to offer reminders, summarize notes, and assist in productivity. Gemini will also power contextual suggestions across the system, including messaging, image searches, and quick replies.
Design has always been a key strength of OxygenOS, and version 16 takes it to another level.
