OnePlus prepares to expand its Ace 6 lineup beyond China
The OnePlus Ace 6, which recently launched in China, is creating buzz in the tech community as reports suggest it may soon arrive in the United States. The device combines flagship-level performance with a design aimed at value-conscious users who don’t want to compromise on power. If these rumors prove accurate, the US smartphone market could soon gain another strong contender in the premium midrange segment.
Launched in late October 2025 in China, the OnePlus Ace 6 quickly drew attention for its top-tier specifications. The device features a large 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with a refresh rate that peaks at 165Hz, giving it one of the fastest screens in its class. This adaptive refresh capability, ranging from 60Hz to 165Hz, ensures both smooth visuals and efficient battery performance. The panel supports 1.5K resolution, HDR, and high brightness levels suitable for outdoor use, making it ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption.
Powering the OnePlus Ace 6 is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which brings the same level of processing efficiency seen in current flagship models. Speculation about the US release gained traction after leaks suggested OnePlus might bring the Ace 6 to Western markets under the same name or as part of its numbered lineup—possibly branded as the OnePlus 15R. This would follow the company’s pattern of rebranding Chinese models for different regions.
