The difference in the price of iPhone 15 is quite high. But trust me, when I compared its cameras with iPhone 15, I was literally shocked. Like in some departments here, even Moto performed better than iPhone. We will see that this is Motorola’s phone, which is being said to be the best in terms of camera.
primary camera in daytime
So let’s start with the primary camera in daytime. iPhone has a 48 megapixel camera and Moto has 50 megapixels. Now the contrast in the iPhone’s photo is quite high. Rather, you will find the colour balanced in Moto’s photo. In fact, this time the color tuning has also been done very well by Motorola. Now after 1X, you get the option of 2X crop in both the phones, which is done with the primary camera itself. I would definitely like to say is that compared to 1X, especially in 2X, the exposure here in Motorola sometimes becomes a little less or a little more. So the sharpness and details in the photo are very good.
Here the exposure and consistency of the colors should be fixed through the update. It will be better. Mainly you will get the difference in contrast and colors here. But yes, according to the price, Motorola is maintaining the quality here very well. In fact, in this photo you will see that the contrast here in the iPhone photo is very overly done. It looks like the photo is edited. So in multiple situations, sometimes I like Moto’s photos better here. Like this photo also Mot looks better. You will notice that the skin tones in iPhone 15 remain on the very natural side. Whereas Motorola makes the face a little brighter. This photo is at 2X. Now obviously the primary camera is being used here. But even after that you get to see a little difference in the face in iphone. Whereas in iPhone the thing remains completely intact. And this is the weapon of H6 Pro which is 4X tele photo camera. In this you get very good quality.

In short Motorola, the photos of human subjects here will look very good at 1X and 3X. And at 2X sometimes the photos come out good or sometimes there is a little more exposure on the face. And you will see this thing every time. And for the 3x telephoto camera, there should be a lot of light available. Then in that case it gives amazing results here. But as soon as the light becomes a little less or a difficult situation comes, then in that case the photos here sometimes become a little under exposed. And iPhone is very consistent. Now one thing Motorola clearly wins in is zoom.
So this photo is at 3X in both the phones. And this is at 10X which is the maximum zoom of iPhone 15. So at 10X, you will definitely get much better quality in Moto. And this is Motorola’s 30X which again looks quite good. And this is 50X which can be said to be kind of not very usable but is okay. In fact, it enhances textual things a lot through AI. You can see here at 10X and 30X. It is much clearer. Now as soon as we talk about the ultrawide camera. So here you will definitely see some differences. Like iPhone’s ultrawide camera captures more area.
Huge difference here is HDR performance
In this, you get better colors because especially in Motorola’s ultrawide camera, you will see a little less colors as compared to its primary camera. iPhone’s camera is of 12 megapixels. Motorola’s is of 50 megapixels. So you will definitely get much better sharpness details in Moto. And mainly you will not see over sharpness in its photos which is visible in iPhone’s photos. And the exposure in the photo is also a little less. Since it is 12 megapixels, it does a lot of post processing to sharpen the photos. One thing that makes a huge difference here is HDR performance, Like whether.

We talk about the main or ultrawide camera, Motorola’s HDR performance is much better than iPhone. Like in this photo, you can see that the green part of the tree above is well maintained. In this photo, the colors are better in iPhone 15 but in terms of HDR performance. But the iPhone’s photo is on a high contrast side and it is really a very difficult situation for any camera and the difference that is there in the main camera is the same difference in the ultra wide camera.
Now, when we talk about close-up shots, both the phones can capture very good samples but both are unable to go too close to the subject because it goes out of focus in iPhone and in Motorola, its main mode here switches automatically. You can turn it off by going to the settings. So mainly you will see the difference in contrast here. Yes, the light control is always better in iPhone. And sometimes Motorola struggles a bit in this thing. Motorola can capture really good micro shots thanks to the auto focus in the ultrawide camera.
The face becomes very bright at 2X after 1X in Motorola
Now just like in normal photo mode, the face becomes very bright at 2X after 1X in Motorola. The same thing is visible here as well. Like at one and 1.5X, the face looks very good here. But as soon as we switch to 3X. So iPhone is just like 1X. But even after using the same sensor, the face becomes much brighter in Moto. The end edge ultrawide is of 50 megapixel resolution.
You get very good sharpness details. So it becomes a clear advantage. Motorola has four zoom ranges to capture portrait photos. 1X, 1.5X, 2X and 3X. Now here you can see the color consistency. Obviously you will get the same from 1X to 2X because, it is the primary camera itself. But there is a difference in 3X because it is a different lens. And in iPhone 15, you only get these two options 1X and 2X on the display. But by zooming on the screen, you can even capture portrait photos at 3X. But as soon as we talk about 3X, the difference here is worth seeing because iPhone has digital zoom while Moto has optical zoom.
The sharpness details are definitely much better in Moto. In fact, Motorola does edge detection very well here. Now the blur can be a personal choice because I did not like the default blur in Motorola very much. Like sometimes it becomes very aggressive here. And especially this happens at 2x. So if you want to capture good portrait photos in Moto, then I did not like the manipulation of the face at 1X or 3X or 2X at all. Well, like photos, the HDR performance in portrait photos is also much better in Motorola.
iPhone has a 12 megapixel selfie camera and Moto has a 50 megapixel camera. And Moto’s selfie camera also captures more area. And if we talk about sharpness, you will not see much difference. Anyway, we talk about the colors of skin tones. Everyone can also have their own personal choice.
