Honor MagicPad 4: Slimmest Android Tablet to Date?
Honor Unveils the MagicPad 4: A Slimmer and More Powerful Android Tablet
The Honor MagicPad 4 has been revealed, boasting an incredible 4.8mm thickness, making it one of the slimmest tablets on the market. Weighing in at just 450g, it’s also extremely lightweight. The MagicPad 4 is set to rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and the iPad Pro.
In comparison to its high-end competitors, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 measures 5.5mm thick, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and the iPad Pro (M5) measure 5.1mm thick. The only tablet to technically come in thinner is the Toall Paper at 3.8mm, but it has its limitations.
Honor’s new tablet is not only slim but also packs a punch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. Although it’s not the fastest variant, it’s a highly capable component that should ensure the MagicPad 4 runs smoothly. The full reveal is expected at MWC from 1 March, alongside the Magic V6 foldable.
The MagicPad 4 features a stunning 12.3-inch OLED display with a 3000 x 1920 resolution and an impressive 165Hz maximum refresh rate. This makes it an excellent choice for multimedia enthusiasts. Additionally, the tablet has a large 10,100mAh battery and supports 66W SuperCharge charging.
Honor’s PC Mode provides a desktop-like experience, allowing apps to run in a stackable windowed format. With keyboard and stylus support, as well as cross-platform connectivity with Apple devices, it’s an excellent option for those seeking a lightweight productivity environment.
The Honor MagicPad 4 is set to be an intriguing new Android tablet contender. With its slim design, powerful performance, and impressive display, it’s definitely one to watch. Stay tuned for our full review and verdict on this exciting new device.
