Honor 400 Lite lounch out

Honor 400 lite

The Honor 400 Lite and let’s talk about specs quickly because we got lots to cover. The Honor 400 Lite rocks a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset paired with 8 gig RAM and 256 gig of storage. The Honor 400 Lite looks unapologetically like an iPhone 16 Pro with a similar camera array design.

It’s got a 6.7 in AMOLED display running at 120 Hz. A solid 5,230 mAh battery which is great for this size. 35 watt charging. Not that impressive, but it is running Magic OS 9.0

Honor 400 Lite Display

The display is honestly really impressive for this category. is a vivid 6.7 in AMOLED panel with a sharp full HD plus resolution. it has excellent brightness and offers good viewing angles when viewed outdoors. Honor claims that it can go up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, which is very impressive for its class. I had to double check this. It is true. It is perfect for sunny days and in that situation that I just showed you in that shoot. It was awesome there because I had I didn’t have to squint. I didn’t have to put a shadow over it or anything like that. And the 120 Hz refresh rate here, it does means that scrolling through socials or playing casual games will feel very silky, very smooth.

Performance of honor 400 lite

Performance on this phone is okay, not mind-blowing or anything like that. As you can probably expect, you do get stereo speakers, which do a decent job like many phones in this category or many phones in general. Powering the Honor 400 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of non-expandable storage. The phone also resists dust and take on water splashes with an IP65 rating which is really crucial these days.

There’s no headphone jack, but Bluetooth or USBC is perfectly good enough for listening to music or watching content. Performance-wise, we’ve got the Dimensity 7025 Ultra here. In daily use, the Dimensity chipset is not something that I’ve used a lot of times. I’ve used maybe two or three phones before.

Felt very snappy though. Scrolling, multitasking, general use feels really smooth. For context, is roughly similar to the Exonos 1580, I would say, on the Galaxy A56 5G felt very similar, you know, almost comparable to to that same chipset. or Samsung might have a slight edge in gaming and heavier task because it has a slightly beefier GPU in everyday scenarios.

It also has very good stereo speakers, which isn’t common on similar price phones, making this an excellent media consumption device. Powering the Honor 400 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of non-expandable storage.

Gaming and Battery wise Honor 400 Lite

Gaming on the 400 L is fine for casual and moderate gaming. things like COD and you know PUBG and things like that perfectly playable but if you want to play like Genshin Impact or other graphic heavy titles you might struggle a little bit because after all it’s not Honor’s flagship model here still for the odd gaming session it holds. scrambling for a charger in the middle of the day if you left it charging overnight. it very well doesn’t heat up or anything like that really great for that and The Auto 400 Lite is a 2-day battery phone with its 5,230 mAh battery. you know you get a full day and some here it was effortless for charging as well even though it’s 35 W you know it’s not going to be groundbreaking or You can know that. But it got me from flat to about 50% in half an hour, which at a pinch is going to be more than good enough.

Honor should have given it faster charging speed as 35 W feels really slow these days compared to some other phones of its class. But otherwise, the phone gets fully charged from the flat battery in over an hour, which isn’t too bad. Overall, the Honor 400 Lite is a great mid-range phone.

Camera quality and features of Honor 400 Lite

let’s talk about the camera features because, The Honor 400 Lite may have a modus 108 MP main and 5 megap ultrawide camera setup but the image quality from these cameras are actually pretty decent for its class even when they are used in low light.

For selfies Honor has gone heavy on AI here, but again, in a very useful way. Long pressing on the camera button gets you quick access to Google Lens and lets you perform a camera search. AI motion capture automatically boosts frame rate for action shots. Perfect if you’re capturing pets or kids. You know, in my example here, the model was doing this twirl, and it was really cool to kind of just capture that moment and freeze it. Really good. AI outpainting extends the photo beyond its original frame, which is really awesome as well.

AI eraser, not different to what we’ve seen in many other phones. Quickly removes unwanted photo bombers. And Honor does a really good AI job at removing and replacing, you know, that area. The 60 megapixel front camera does a good job, and it even comes with an LED if you want to brighten your face.

There’s a lot more to talk about. Design-wise, Honor has kept it very sleek, very slim, and modern at just 7.29 mil thick. It’s comfortable to hold, lightweight, feels almost like a light iPhone. the back, which is, you know, very nice. This kind of dual color setup here. This is actually my favorite color on the setup. It actually goes a little bit smaller than the dynamic island, which I prefer. But still, I’d prefer something perhaps a little bit more original, but like I said, I do get the appeal. Like in most of my reviews, when I get the chance, I’ like to go out and use the phone.

When I was using the phone as normal, I actually did find this AI camera button to be more useful than the Apple’s version is probably it feels exactly the same, but it has less functions. You know, you can zoom in and out of things and, you know, use it as a camera shutter.
