Here’s the top model of this year’s Realme 14 series The Realme 14 pro plus. It’s a Camera Centric mid-ranger with lots of other nice features. So, let’s see what the Realme 14 Pro Plus is all about in our full review.
DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
Specs wise the Realme 14 Pro Plus is pretty solid looking for a mid-ranger not only does it have versatile cameras with a three-time zoom there’s a large OLED display high rated Ingress Protection a large battery and fast charging. Realme has done something special when it comes to the design too in this color way the plastic back panel features the color changing layer the marbled swirls on the back are yellow. At room temperature but when the phone gets cold anywhere under 16° C, They become blue there’s also a standard vegan leather backing available besides that the back of the phone is dominated by a large round camera bump like you’d see on one of those Flagship camera phones at the edge both the back and front taper into a rounded glossy plastic frame the phone feels slim and comfy in hand the Ingress Protection of the Realme 14 Pro Plus is better than ever. Now you get IP 68 rated protection against dust, water submersion and heated water jets. The phone even complies to the US military grade standards for shock resistance.
DISPLAY
Realme has upgraded the screen, Here too there’s a large 6.83 in OLED with a high resolution Gorilla Glass 7, Eye protection and a 120 HZ refresh rate. This display is sharper than last year with a pixel density of 450 PPI and There support for 10 bit color too there is no official HDR video support though when it comes to brightness the maximum levels are a little less than the previous models but they’re still solid we measured up to around 560 nits with a manual slider, Which could boost over 1160 nits in auto mode and The 120 HZ refresh rate Smooths out movements on screen and it’s able to dial down to 60 HZ when the phone is idling to save a bit of energy for audio the phone has a pair of stereo speakers they have very good loudness, but The sound quality is mediocre with shallow sounding vocals and not much base. You can wake up and unlock the phone with an optical under display fingerprint reader. It’s quite speedy and you can get the Realme 14 Pro Plus with 128, 256 or 512 GB of storage on board that isn’t expandable through micro-SD.
PERFORMANCE
UI & UPDATES
The interface of the phone is newest Realme UI 6. Running on top of Android 15 it’s quite similar to what you’d find on any recent Oppo OnePlus or Realme phone since the brands are related the notification and quick settings are, Now split you can access either one by swiping from the top corners. Google’s Circle to search is a built-in feature here and also included as The Gemini AI assistant and there are AI based editing tools within the gallery as. Well like the AI eraser for software support there’s no specific word about the global model but in India the phone should get two major OS upgrades in 3 years of security patches.
PROSESSOR & BENCHMARKS
The Realme 14 Pro Plus brings an upgraded chipset a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s gen 3 it promises a significant leap in performance compared to the Gen 2 and last year’s model in benchmarks. We do see a significant Improvement when it comes to Graphics related tests. The CPU scores are about the same though overall the performance doesn’t top the charts but but is good for the class with plenty of power for a hiccup free experience and when it comes to Thermal management the Realme 14 Pro Plus displayed hardly any throttling throughout our prolonged stress tests Realme has increased.
BATTERY
The battery capacity this year to a whopping 6,000 Mah hours the battery life hasn’t improved dramatically over last year but it’s still great. The Realme 14 Pro Plus earned an active view score of 14 hours and 10 minutes in our tests. The Realme 14 Pro Plus supports 80 W super watt fast charging, but unlike last year the phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box at least in the EU charging is decently fast considering the large battery capacity with a proper adapter we were able to charge from 0 to 72% in half an hour and a full charge took 55 minutes.
CAMERA
Now we have the cameras there’s a 50 mega pixel main cam a 50 megapix three times telephoto zoom and an 8 mega pixel Ultra wide cam also this phone has three LED flash modules arranged evenly in a circle which you can use as a fill light for portraits. You can change the color temperature and the output power too the Realme 14 Pro Plus main cam produces solid 12.5 mega pixel photos. They have a good amount of detail nice colors and they’re nicely contrasty with good dynamic range however upon closer examination The rendition of the finer details has a waxy look to it that isn’t very sharp. The main camera is good for capturing people be it in regular or portrait mode the subject is well exposed with good rendition and enough resolve detail in low light. There’s a night mode which kicks in automatically, the results are great they’re detailed very well exposed and colorful with no visible noise and outstanding dynamic range.

Now we have the three times telephoto camera, Its Zoom photos are detailed and sharp with Lively and mostly realistic colors good dynamic range and no visible noise the rendition of fine detail is nicer than the main camera shots of people come out excellent too with nice exposure and detail the zoom camera can focus from as close as 60 cm away, Which isn’t close enough for macro photography but still will do for some good close-ups the phone is also very good at seamlessly switching to the main camera and close-up scenes as at night three times zoomed photos come out excellent for this type of camera. They’re well exposed with great looking colors wide dynamic range and enough detail and Now the ultrawide camera the detail level here isn’t excellent but still is above average for this sort of camera, It also does a good job to match the other cameras when it comes to color presentation white balance and contrast at night the ultra wide does a decent job.
About selfy come from a 32 mega pixel front-facing cam at 21 mm the lens has a wider than usual field of view and you get accurate colors wide Dynamic range and low noise. It’s quite nice to have autofocus on this camera too the Realme 14 Pro Plus can record 4K video with all of its cameras except for the ultra wide the main camera captures 4K videos. They’re not terribly sharp but they have good colors and wide dynamic range The there time zoom camera captures good quality videos, They look nice but again the detail is about average the 1080p videos from the ultra wide camera are okay for this resolution with enough detail good colors and adequate dynamic range electronic stabilization is available across all cameras resolutions and frame rates and It does a very good job in stabilizing the footage that’s a nice upgrade from the Realme 13 Pro Plus and at night the main Cam’s 4K video have bright exposure and good color saturation but the detail level is again average.
FINAL THOUGHTS
So that’s the Realme 14 Pro plus it’s a mid-ranger with great Ingress Protection a large sharp Display a solid Chipset and nice versatile Cameras. The battery life is quite solid here too there are nitpicks like the sound quality of the speakers and The lack of an IR blaster and you can find competitors with better Chips at Performance still The Realme 14 Pro Plus is quite the well-rounded phone for the price and It’s worth recommending.
