Motorola razr 60 ultra folding phone

Motorola razr 60 ultra folding phone

Motorola has a new feature-p packed foldable phone. It’s the Moto Razer 60 Ultra, also known as the Razer Ultra in the USA. These sorts of phones just keep on improving.

Motorola razr 60 ultra build and design

there are some interesting upgrades with the new model. These include a higher res screen, a flagship chipset, an ultrawide camera with macro capabilities, and a larger battery. We have our Razer 60 Ultra and Panone Scarab, which is a dark green hue and is combined with a suedelike material called Alcantara covering the back. Other options include wood and vegan leather. The unfolded back is split between the glass screen on the top and the backing below.

As before, the hinge is made from stainless steel. It can hold the phone open at different angles which does have its uses for things like vlogging. The frame is made from aluminum and like the hinge, it matches the green colorway, a nice touch. Between the backing, the colors, and the form factor, this phone has a unique look that you won’t find anywhere else. There is a new hardware key this time around.

Display quality of Motorola Razr 60 Ultra

While both panels are 165 Hz, the only time we saw the phone using that was within games if this refresh rate was selected within the gaming settings. Otherwise, the screens will max out at 120 Hz, which is the standard these days for smoothing out swiping and scrolling.

Motorola razr 60 ultra

My only real complaint is that a couple of times during these past 9 to 10 days, that internal screen seemed to suddenly give up on life and just absolutely failed to respond to my swipes and jabs. Although thankfully, this was easily rectified each time simply by locking and unlocking the phone. And thanks to the LTPO tech on both displays, their refresh rate will dial down to one herz when idling to save energy. The inner display is quite sharp, sharper than your typical 1080p.

And you get support for 10- bit color, HDR10 plus video, and Dolby Vision on both the inner and outer screens. Switching between the two screens, even while playing a video, is relatively seamless if you don’t have a lock screen to go through. Otherwise, it would take a few steps. Besides video playback, there’s plenty of functionality on the cover screen.

Ui, Ai and Updates of Motorola razr 60 ultra

One new addition to Hello UI is smart tabs found within the app drawer. These include a news feed and a new space for your notes which are sourced from the journal app. While you do have Google Gemini on board, Moto has also developed its own AI assistant called Moto AI. Using shortcuts like the dedicated AI key will open Moto AI by default.

Moto AI accepts queries just like any other AI chatbot, but it also provides unique features through integration with several other AI services. We’ll dive into those features in a dedicated video. Smart Connect is a suite of features that allows you to easily transfer files between devices and connect the phone wirelessly to a PC or monitor.

And now it’s even smarter with the ability to use voice commands to control the interface or search for files across all of your connected devices. And the Moto Razer 60 Ultra will get three major OS updates and four years of security patches from Motorola.

Camera, Battery and Performance of Motorola Razr 60 Ultra

Motorola has decided to equip its flip phone with the top flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. As a result, the Moto Razer 60 Ultra is the most powerful Flip Foldable to come out yet. On paper, that is. In benchmarks, it does demonstrate high performance, but it actually falls behind this year’s other flagships that use the same chipset. The reason is the form factor. The Razer 60 Ultra must undergo significant throttling not to overheat.

This brings it scores down roughly to the level of phones running last year’s Snapdragon 8 GN 3. Here are the results of our prolonged CPU stress test, and you can see that the performance dips considerably when using the phone. Though, we didn’t run into any issues. And considering the phone’s form factor, we’re okay with the trade-off. We may not be getting the best CPU performance, but the benefits of the high tier chipset go way further than that.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Ai features

You get the latest connectivity, the best NPU for AI tasks, and also a great ISP for camera performance. And now, the battery life. The Razer 6D Ultra has a larger 4700 mAh battery this year. And as a result, I stuck with the default natural mode, but you’ve also got an AI customized mode. This can learn what kind of tonal output you appreciate in different scenarios and then automatically apply a filter.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Battery

The battery life is much improved with a great active use score of 15 hours and 10 minutes in our tests. The Motorola 60 Ultra has been blessed with a far larger 4,700 mAh capacity battery. There’s support for 68 watt charging here. But unlike last year, there’s no charger included in the box. With a proper adapter, we were able to charge the phone from 0 to 78% in half an hour, and a full charge took 45 minutes. It’s just the same as last year’s model. And there’s also support for 15 watt wireless charging here but this phone refused to play nicely with my wireless charging stand I guess cuz it’s a slightly weird wonky shape.

Camera zoom and photos quality

The Razer 60 Ultra has two on the back, a main camera and an ultrawide, both with autofocus. It’s a change from last year’s model, which instead of an ultrawide, had a twox zoom camera. Another change is that all cameras now have 50 megapixel sensors, including the selfie cam. Where I was out and about in London using the camera loads, lots of screen on time, lots of video streaming, audio streaming when the phone was actually hibernating and everything. The decentsized 50meg sensor means it doesn’t struggle as much as some ultra wides in low light.

It captures greatl looking selfies with very good detail and excellent colors and dynamic range. But as good as it is, it almost feels wasted on a flip phone like this one.

The colors and dynamic range are excellent, too. And since this camera has autofocus, you can use it to take close-up macro shots as well. And the quality is pretty decent. At night, the ultrawide camera does a solid job, too. Exposures are nice and bright, and dynamic range is very good. Colors are a bit less saturated than the main cam, and detail is generally all right, but can be softer in darker scenes or in the shadows.

No Bezels Leptop Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i Gen 10

The Lenovo Yoga slim 9i the Gen 10. All new for 2025 and We’re going to get our first look at it here today. Now this is Ultra 7 258 V. So, we’re looking at 8 Core eight threads and no hyperthreading 32 GB of integrated Ram.

120 Hz and it can get as bright as 750 nits of peak brightness in HDR

That is integrated on the chip with lunar Lake and for what I understand This is a one off from Intel they’re not going to do the same type of Chip going forward it was too expensive from, that’s what we get here so the benefit of lunar lake is better efficiency better battery life and I got to tell you so far in the initial look at this it has been very good I’ll bring you a full review very soon. But I was able to test a few things including the battery life, I was able to get 14 plus hours almost 15 hours on the office test. So that’s a good sign.

I have more battery testing to do and I’ve been seeing very good performance, especially when it comes to graphics with the Intel arc 140v graphics of course and That has been impressive with this outing. So, the star of the show not only is this design, but you get this absolutely freaking gorgeous 4K Plus display.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i Gen 10

Let me show you this thing is absolutely gorgeous. You’re looking at a UHD plus display and this is going to be 3840 by 2400. That we’re going to get into why I think this is probably one of the nicest displays. I’ve ever seen now it is glossy it is 120 Hz and it can get as bright as 750 nits of peak brightness in HDR.

I got to tell you this touchscreen here is absolutely stunning this has got to be the star of the show. So also has a really nice keyboard as we’ll get into, it’s got a pretty interesting design here as function row there and then of course the fingerprint scanner on the keyboard is very interesting and You get a really nice touchpad.

it’s not haptic though, I wish it was but other than that this beautiful uh blue color here is absolutely gorgeous like a tidal teal is what they’re calling it so absolutely gorgeous and we’re also going to take a look at. That under screen camera and that one is interesting although, I’m not sure, If I like the quality but I like what they’re trying to do here getting this to a 96% screen to body ratio hey everybody.

They’re giving you a 98% screen to body ratio

Talking about a design that is absolutely stunning here this is covered in Gorilla Glass here and as you know there’s no reverse notch or really not a pronounced one this is where the guts of the camera. I guess are and that means it’s going to be under the display. Now you can see it here, but I’ll show you when it is activated that this does light up and you’ll see where the camera is now camera’s not great.

I can tell you that right off the bat there there’s going to be some improvements needed going forward but, I like where this technology is going they put in a very good camera. It’s just that it’s under the display so it’s not going to be the best quality in terms of the overall picture.

14 in UHD plus 3840 by 2400 oled display

This display is a 14in UHD plus 3840 by 2400 display. It’s a 16 to 10 aspect ratio and it is a touchscreen display. So, for those that need touch it is there it goes back as far as you see here and it is really nice now one of the things about this display to note is obviously, It’s an OLED display. So, one of the things you’ll have to be careful of is a screen flickering that is common with this type of Screen burning might be an issue down the road.

We’ll have to see long term, but this is a stunning display place, if you’re a content creator doing Lightroom Photoshop video editing this thing is going to shine this is where it’s going to be really good, and brightness is pretty amazing here. So, we’re looking at Peak brightness of 750 nits and That of course is in HDR but, it can I would say in SDR you’re looking at 4 to 500 k nits of brightness, which is more than enough on this. Now it is a glossy display so depending on your lighting conditions you will see some reflection.

Number of ports in Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i

Now the other thing we’ll talk about is the ports here, There’s only two thunder bold four ports, They’re USB type c and That’s it no Headphone jack, No USB, No HDMI nothing. So, a lack of ports is to me the biggest downside of this device although. If you can live with the two fundable four ports, then you’ll be fine it just what depends on what your use case scenario is but not great.

It does have a replaceable SSD though and as you can see from the reads. In my initial look at this, it’s very good for what you need this laptop to do, and this particular one has these Ultra 7 258 V, 32 GB of LPDDR 5x Ram running at the very fast 8533 mega trans per second. That is lunar Lake and again integrated on the Chip And like, I said it might be a one off. So just keep that in mind. Now that’s the expandability and that’s the I/O which could be a little bit improved.

Now lunar lake so far as you can see the single multicore is actually on the higher end of lunar Lake but again, It’s not going to blow you away in terms of sheer raw performance but again looking at synthetic benchmarks really doesn’t tell you the picture, When you’re using this for Office work, Email, Web browsing everything will be Snappy fluid, No hiccups, No slowdowns. You’ll be perfectly fine with this and having the Intel arc 140v graphics gives this a leg up over the competition as being one of the best integrated graphics. So if you want to play games on this you certainly.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i Speaker quality and featurs

Now another area where this thing is pretty freaking amazing is the sound and the sound is Rich it’s full it’s pretty amazing sound coming out of this. Now this is Dolby Atmos that’s going to help with the spatial audio, and I put it head-to-head with one of the best in the business and that of course is the 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro the M4 version, That I have, and I got to tell you this hold this held its own.

Now speaking of the camera under the display like I said not great so this is the one thing that I’m happy they’re trying but I don’t think the execution is there yet the this can be improved right so but what we’re seeing here is a 98% screen to body ratio is what they were trying to achieve is it adequate. I would say don’t think it’s there yet, but I like where the technology is going. So, I give them cud for trying just not a great uh look just yet.

Now let’s give it a look and this is the under display camera and As you can see not very good so I’m not sure what they could do to fix this, I know it does enable this to have a very nice screen to body ratio but this is definitely not what. I guess, I was expecting as far as the camera is concerned but. I think this technology has a way to go uh but what do you think about the audio quality.

Battery test the PC Mark 10 modern office test

I will say about this this has a 75-w hour battery and it actually is pretty good. I was able to run at least one battery test the PC Mark 10 modern office test, which is a mixed World, mixed-use real-world test, and I got 13 plus hours almost 14 hours on it and That’s going to tell you a lot because what you can expect with this. I would say anywhere from 8 to 10 hours of solid use, Now I put it at 40% screen brightness. If you bump the screen refresh rate down to 50 HZ as opposed to the 120 you may seek out a little bit more but having close to 14 hours on this is pretty impressive and I got to say that is going to be pretty good.

I’ll do further testing when I do my full review but right off the bat initial 48 hours in this thing is freaking awesome and as far as the weight and everything is concerned. It’s got a really nice look. Now one thing it does collect a little bit of fingerprints here with this glass here but when it is clean. It is absolutely gorgeous, but you will have to carry a cleaning cloth you will be wiping this down.

The highlights just to recap is the gorgeous UHD plus 4K Plus display with the touch and 120 HZ 750 nits’ Peak brightness. This glass design here the 96% screen to body ratio the under camera design here although. I’m not crazy about the actual webcam but I like where they’re going in the technology. The lack of ports really is the biggest Achilles heel on this and it comes in a little expensive here but it’s almost like.

A really nice luxury laptop and I got to tell you so far, so good. So, the overall build and quality looks amazing. Then so far by the way it’s run cool and quiet. We’ll get into The Thermals and the overall performance coming up but so far, we can get a good idea what you can expect.

Next Sets Sights on Iconic Russell & Bromley in Major High Street Move

Next’s Strategic Vision: A Potential Acquisition of Russell & Bromley

The corridors of UK retail are abuzz with speculation as Next, the renowned high street fashion behemoth, reportedly sets its sights on acquiring Russell & Bromley. This potential takeover involves one of Britain’s most cherished, family-owned footwear retailers, boasting an impressive 145-year legacy. The move signifies a bold strategic play by Next, underscoring its relentless pursuit of market dominance and diversification within the ever-evolving retail landscape.

Next has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of the British high street, celebrated for its extensive range of clothing, homeware, and fashion accessories. Over recent years, the company has demonstrated a proactive and innovative approach, frequently leveraging strategic acquisitions and partnerships to bolster its market position. This latest rumour suggests a continued commitment to expanding its brand portfolio and customer reach.

Russell & Bromley, on the other hand, occupies a unique and revered niche within the premium footwear sector. For nearly a century and a half, it has been synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and superior quality. The brand has cultivated a loyal customer base, drawn to its sophisticated designs and the enduring appeal of its carefully curated collections for men and women.

The potential integration of Russell & Bromley into Next’s vast empire represents a fascinating prospect for both entities. For Next, it offers an immediate entry into a higher-end segment of the footwear market, providing a valuable opportunity to broaden its customer demographic. This acquisition could significantly enhance Next’s footwear offering, adding a layer of luxury and heritage that currently sits outside its core brand identity.

From Russell & Bromley’s perspective, becoming part of a powerhouse like Next could unlock substantial growth opportunities. Access to Next’s extensive logistical networks, robust e-commerce infrastructure, and considerable marketing prowess could revitalise the brand, allowing it to reach new audiences and perhaps navigate the complexities of modern retail with greater agility. It could also provide much-needed investment for expansion and digital transformation.

The high street has faced unprecedented challenges in recent years, from the relentless rise of online shopping to the economic pressures impacting consumer spending. In this volatile environment, strategic mergers and acquisitions have become a crucial tool for retailers seeking resilience and growth. Next has been particularly adept at identifying and integrating valuable brands, proving its capability to nurture and expand acquired businesses.

Analysts suggest that such a move aligns perfectly with Next’s broader strategy of becoming a diversified lifestyle retailer. By incorporating a brand with the heritage and prestige of Russell & Bromley, Next not only expands its product categories but also enhances its overall brand equity. This strategic play could further solidify Next’s position as a dominant force in the UK retail sector, capable of catering to a wider spectrum of consumer tastes and preferences.

The acquisition, if it proceeds, would undoubtedly bring about a period of transition for Russell & Bromley. The challenge for Next will be to integrate the brand while meticulously preserving its distinct identity, quality standards, and unique customer appeal. Maintaining the integrity of a heritage brand is paramount to retaining its loyal following and capitalising on its established reputation, which is precisely what makes it an attractive target.

Ensuring a smooth transition will require careful consideration of everything from product development and supply chain management to customer service and store experiences. The delicate balance between leveraging Next’s operational efficiencies and safeguarding Russell & Bromley’s artisanal ethos will be critical to the long-term success of the potential merger. This careful stewardship is vital for any acquisition involving a brand with such deep-rooted history.

The potential takeover also reflects broader trends within the UK retail landscape, where consolidation is increasingly common as companies seek scale and synergy. Larger groups can often offer economies of scale, shared resources, and investment capabilities that smaller, independent retailers might struggle to maintain amidst fierce competition. This dynamic makes heritage brands particularly vulnerable but also attractive targets for established players.

For consumers, the outcome could vary. While some may appreciate increased accessibility to Russell & Bromley products through Next’s broader channels, others might express concerns about potential changes to the brand’s exclusive appeal or product range. Next’s history of managing diverse brands, however, suggests a nuanced approach is likely, aiming to enhance rather than dilute the acquired brand’s value proposition.

Ultimately, the reported interest from Next in Russell & Bromley signals a significant moment in British retail. It highlights Next’s aggressive growth strategy and its recognition of the enduring value in established, quality brands, even in challenging market conditions. The coming months will reveal whether this ambitious plot materialises into a definitive agreement, reshaping a segment of the UK’s high street landscape.

Such a development could set a precedent for other established retailers looking to expand their reach and diversify their offerings. The acquisition of a venerable name like Russell & Bromley would not just be a business transaction; it would be a statement about the enduring power of brand legacy when combined with modern retail acumen. The retail world watches keenly for further announcements regarding this intriguing potential partnership.

The potential for synergy between Next’s expansive operational capabilities and Russell & Bromley’s premium market standing is immense. Imagine the enhanced digital presence and streamlined logistics that Next could offer, allowing Russell & Bromley to thrive in an increasingly online-first world while maintaining its luxury appeal. This blend of tradition and modernity could unlock significant untapped potential for the shoe retailer.

Furthermore, this move could lead to innovative new collections and collaborations, blending Next’s trend-driven insights with Russell & Bromley’s classic designs. Such creative synergies often result from strategic acquisitions, providing fresh impetus and exciting new directions for both brands involved. It’s a prospect that promises to keep both loyal customers and new patrons engaged with renewed interest in the future offerings.

The potential deal also underscores the ongoing strategic importance of physical retail presence, even in a digital age. Russell & Bromley’s well-regarded physical stores offer a tactile shopping experience that complements online sales. Next’s experience in managing a substantial store portfolio could further optimise these spaces, ensuring they continue to serve as vital touchpoints for the brand’s discerning clientele.

In conclusion, the rumoured acquisition of Russell & Bromley by Next is more than just a corporate manoeuvre; it’s a testament to the dynamic nature of the UK retail sector. It reflects a strategic vision to combine heritage with innovation, traditional craftsmanship with modern market reach. The impact of such a merger would resonate throughout the industry, setting a new benchmark for strategic growth and brand preservation on the high street.

New UK TV service offering 150+ channels now works on older models

New UK TV service offering 150+ channels now works on older models

Freely Expansion Gives Older TVs a Major Upgrade

A major boost has arrived for UK households with older televisions, as a new device now allows them to access more than 150 channels without needing a modern smart TV. The launch of the Pleio box means Freely — the broadband-based free TV platform backed by the UK’s biggest broadcasters — can now run on almost any TV with an HDMI port.

Freely was previously limited to newer TV models from select brands, leaving many viewers unable to access its live and on-demand services. With the Pleio device, that restriction has been removed, opening the door for millions of existing TVs to benefit from the free-to-air streaming service.

The platform delivers live channels from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and more, all streamed directly over broadband. This removes the need for aerials or satellite dishes, making it ideal for households looking for a simpler setup or those living in areas with weak aerial reception.

New UK TV service offering 150+ channels now works on older models

Beyond the core free channels, the Pleio box goes further by offering access to more than 150 additional streaming channels via optional upgrades. This gives older TVs a level of choice and flexibility closer to premium platforms, without forcing users into long-term contracts.

It also runs a full Android TV interface, meaning apps such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and other major streaming services can be installed. For many households, this instantly turns an old TV into a modern smart hub without the cost of replacing the entire set.

One unexpected bonus is support for cloud gaming, with a library of titles available for those who want extra entertainment options. Although this feature requires separate subscription access, it adds depth to what is primarily a free TV solution.

Early demand for the Pleio device has surged, with retailers reporting strong interest and, in some cases, rapid sell-outs. This reflects growing appetite in the UK for flexible, low-cost alternatives to traditional pay-TV subscriptions.

The shift also highlights a broader move toward internet-delivered television across the country. As broadband infrastructure improves, platforms like Freely are becoming more viable replacements for antenna-based or satellite services.

For UK households hoping to modernise older TVs without a major spend, the Pleio box offers a straightforward upgrade path. Its combination of live channels, on-demand content and optional extras makes it one of the most versatile free TV solutions currently available.

As availability expands, the service is expected to reshape how more viewers access free-to-air television — giving older models a new lease of life and improving access to modern streaming features across the UK.

Newly Launched Noise Colorfit Pro 6 Max: A Deep Dive Into Its AI Features

I have a very interesting Smartwatch from noise has launched their all new color fit Pro 6 series. Today in the home, we got our hands on the max Edition Smartwatch and this one has some really amazing features like AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, digital Crown functionality and some brand new AI features.

The colorfit pro 6 Max and first of all talk about the design and buil quality initial Impressions the watch definitely looks premium for the price that you’re paying. You’re getting full on stainless steel body and that to we have the copper Black Edition. In fact the body actually sort of looks like gold finish. I would say so talking about the front profile the watch comes with a 1.96 in HD resolution AMOLED touch display.

The watch is dipped in water up to 1.5 M right for up to 35 minutes

Talking about the build quality I’ve told you right excellent build quality stainless steel material on top of that watch. Is also five atmospheres water resistant so even if the watch is dipped in water up to 1.5 M right for up to 35 minutes nothing is going to happen going to the right side here you can check out the watch comes with a digital Crown so yes using this. The menu and also scroll between different watch faces a multi function button is also there on the other side this one is your built-in speaker obviously watch also supports like Bluetooth calling right so you can directly make calls from the Smartwatch itself.

Noise Colorfit Pro 6 Max

So that is about the design and build quality and coming to the straps, I’ve told you right the one we have is the genuine leather variant and quality of the strap is also very good quite premium. I’ve been using the Smartwatch and today in this video I’ll be sharing my detailed experience and feedback talking about all the features.

You might want to know and obviously we’ll include those brand new AI features.I have to say watch feels quite premium guys not just feels it actually looks a premium as well anyways moving on to the software and UI part noise has actually introduced their brand new nebula UI 2.0 along with the brand new 2 chip.

Display Hardware wise the watch comes with a 1.96 in HD resolution AMOLED

Let me tell you about the display Hardware on board the watch comes with a 1.96 in HD resolution AMOLED display with the resolution being around like 410x 52 nothing less you can expect to here razor sharp detail text looks crisp and clear easily understandable and look at these watch faces guys excellent contrast ratio obviously it’s an AMOLED display there’s nothing to complain over here true blacks is what you can see and talking about the colors were also very nice accurate quite Punchy.

I would say guys everything just pops on the screen and coming to the brightness noise says that this panel can easily offer up to like 650 to 750 nits of brightness and I have no issues checking out the display even in like brightly lit situations guys even in out situations as well only thing. If I had to nit pick right, the bezels on the Smartwatch could have been a bit more Slimmer considering.

The home screen and the built in apps features and UI experience

Let’s get to the home screen and talk about the built-in apps features and UI experience. as well you’re getting many watch faces guys by default the watch comes with like five to six watch faces pre installed but apart from this you can download even more cloud-based watch faces using noise fit compatible app not an issue at all and along with that you’re also getting a brand new AI watch face maker guys swiping up on the home screen gives you access to the status panel.

I would say but if you ask about the watch performance right, I mean performance was fine but, I did feel it was stuttering here and there sometimes guys you know considering this is like a premium category Smartwatch.

The watch battery life Bluetooth connectivity status and also gives you some quick access toggles and swiping down gives you your notifications panel to check out all your missed calls notifications messages and stuff like that swiping right on the home screen gives you access to your widgets from here.

You can check out your daily briefing section access the music fidget and some other shortcuts are there and swiping left on the home screen gives you access to some Fitness related panels like your overall day-to-day activity page is there followed by your health measurements like HR SPO 2 stress level measurements sleep monitoring and all that data so, if you ask my opinion on the overall UI and also the watch performance.

First of all let me tell you UI experience was fine the overall layout felt very similar to just like any other noise Smartwatch. I would say but if you ask about the watch performance right, I mean performance was fine but, I did feel it was stuttering here and there sometimes guys you know considering this is like a premium category Smartwatch. I’ve reviewed in the past with some weeks here and there to the UI making it much more refined.

GPS TRACKER

The Smartwatch is it also comes with built-in GPS that is the reason it’s a bit more expensive compared to the previous color fit Series so with this GPS you can easily track all your outdoor activities like walking running and what do you do in outdoor sports. You’re burning distance traveled and along with a detailed GPS information that you can easily check out on the compatible noise fit application in the clock section.

You can easily access alarms timer stopwatch functionality is also there Pomo doro tracker is missing 24 x 7 weather data analysis, music playing and coming to the music Control this time noise has also offered build in storage. You can use this built-in speaker to play music directly on the watch guys even without having your smartphone so that’s a good thing.

If you want to record some audio on your Smartwatch

New feature is Bluetooth headphones connectivity so you can directly connect your Bluetooth headphones to a smartwatch and with the help of built-in stored music right you can listen to all your favorite tracks whenever you’re using this for maybe like workouts or any sort of exercises.

I would say moving on you’ve got your remote camera shutter calculator app is built in voice command voice memo. In case if you want to record some audio on your Smartwatch because you’re having built-in microphone. And you got like a top features all of them are present on the Smartwatch.

6 to 7 days of battery life in normal days

Let me tell you about the battery life. The previous models noise has not disclosed the built in battery capacity this time, but anyways I’m going to share you my experience on a moderate sort of usage with the brightness set to around like 60 to 65 % using some apps on the Smartwatch. Rarely using like built in GPS for some workout sessions right with this sort of active.

You can easily get around like 6 to 7 days of battery life. if you’re like a heavy user you either use that Bluetooth calling feature a lot on day to day basis or maybe. A fitness freak who uses that built in GPS, a lot then for you people, You’ll hardly get around 2 and a half day of battery life, so totally depends on your usage.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite software walk-through: Nothing OS 3.5 features

Exploring What Nothing OS 3.5 Brings to the Phone (3a) Lite

When you power up the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite in the UK, you’re greeted not just by hardware but by the latest version of Nothing OS 3.5 (based on Android 15). This is the software foundation that shapes your everyday experience, and understanding its key features can help you make the most of the phone.

First up: updates and longevity. The 3a Lite ships with Nothing OS 3.5 and the brand promises three years of major Android version updates plus six years of security patches. That means UK buyers can expect the phone to stay secure and reasonably current for several years, which is excellent for a budget-mid range device.

One of the standout additions in Nothing OS 3.5 is Smart Drawer, a feature that automatically organises your apps into categories such as Social, Photography, Productivity and so on. This helps keep your home screens cleaner and makes it faster to find what you need, especially if you install a lot of apps. Alongside that is App Locker, which lets you add an extra level of security to any individual app with fingerprint or PIN access.

For privacy and storage management, the software includes Private Space, a secure area on the phone where you can stash photos, videos or documents separate from your main profile. This is particularly useful in UK scenarios where you might lend your phone to someone temporarily but don’t want to expose your personal files.

Customisation is another pillar of the OS. Nothing OS 3.5 gives you plenty of control over appearance and behaviour: you can change icon shapes, colour accents, animation speeds and even toggle a minimal “mono” style if you prefer less visual clutter. The clean UI, fluid animations and minimal bloat mean you won’t feel weighed down by junk apps or unusable features.

Performance-wise, the 3a Lite benefits from software optimisations that help the phone run smoothly. The OS is tuned for its hardware (including the 120Hz display), so animations feel slick, transitions are seamless and general responsiveness is strong. This matters in daily UK use when switching between apps, browsing or simply scrolling through social feeds.

Connectivity and features: Nothing OS 3.5 ensures support for full dual-5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and the expandable microSD storage (up to 2 TB) is integrated cleanly into the file manager and storage settings — so you can slot in a card and the software treats it like internal storage for many tasks.

For UK users who value minimalism and ease-of-use, the OS also includes features like one-hand mode, accessibility enhancements (larger fonts, high contrast themes) and an IT-friendly setting for keeping apps fully updated and camera firmware refreshed without fuss.

In terms of camera and media, the OS brings enhancements to the built-in photography experience: dedicated modes for Night, Portrait and Ultra Wide are accessible directly in the camera UI, and the software supplies additional processing to boost image clarity and reduce noise in challenging lighting — useful for UK indoor/low-light conditions. The 120Hz display also means video playback and UI motion feel more fluid.

Finally, UK buyers should note that nothing significant has been removed — the OS keeps the core Android experience intact while layering value-added features that appeal to everyday users rather than power tech junkies. Because of this, you get a balance of features, performance, and support without the price of a premium phone.

In summary: the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite running Nothing OS 3.5 offers a refined, secure and customisable software experience tailored for UK users. Whether it’s update longevity, privacy tools, performance tuning or simply a clean interface, the software side of this phone is one of its strong arguments in favour.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite vs older Nothing Phone 2a: worth the upgrade?

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite vs older Nothing Phone 2a worth the upgrade

Is It Time to Move Up to the 3a Lite for UK Buyers?

If you already own the Nothing Phone 2a and are weighing the option of moving to the newer 3a Lite, it’s worth taking a close look at what’s genuinely better, what remains largely the same, and whether the upgrade makes sense in the UK market.

On the plus side, the 3a Lite offers several meaningful enhancements. It runs on a newer, more efficient chipset and benefits from a larger display, making it better suited for gaming, multitasking and media-heavy use. Storage expansion via a microSD slot is a feature that the 2a lacks, and the promise of longer software support means the 3a Lite could remain reliable for a longer lifespan in a UK buyer’s hands.

However, it’s not a quantum leap. Battery capacity remains roughly the same, and if your 2a already delivers smooth performance and solid battery life, you may not notice much day-to-day difference. Charging speed is actually slightly slower on the 3a Lite, and for many users the upgrade from 2a to 3a Lite may feel incremental rather than transformative.

From a UK perspective, the decision depends on your priorities. If you download large content libraries, use microSD storage or expect to keep your phone for several years, the 3a Lite offers better future-proofing. If your 2a is still performing well and you’re focused on saving money, the upgrade can wait for a more substantial generational shift.

In terms of value, it’s wise to assess trade-in programmes and how much you’ll need to pay to move up. If the incremental cost is significant and the perceived benefit modest, budgeting for a more substantial upgrade later might be the smarter move.

In summary: for UK buyers keen on longevity, storage flexibility and a slightly more advanced spec sheet, the 3a Lite is a good step up. But if your current phone still meets your needs, holding off and saving that money might be the wiser choice for now.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Battery Charging Test: 33 W Fast Charging – How Fast?

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Battery Charging Test 33 W Fast Charging – How Fast

Charging Performance of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33 W wired fast charging, making it one of the more competitive choices in its price segment. Official data from the manufacturer states that the device can reach about 50% charge in roughly 20 minutes.

Independent tests report slightly different figures. One review found the phone reached 50% in around 25 minutes and a full charge in approximately 75 minutes. Another source cited around 30 minutes for 50% and 75-80 minutes for full charge.

In a UK usage context: topping the battery from near empty to usable halfway within 20-30 minutes is a solid performance for a budget phone. If you plug it in during a short coffee break you’ll have enough charge for hours of typical use.

Achieving a full charge of 5,000 mAh in about 1¼ hours means overnight charging remains practical, and topping up before bed still leaves plenty of power for the next day. It also gives peace of mind for commuters or UK travellers who might plug in briefly between errands.

However, it’s not the fastest charging available even among mid-range devices in the UK market. Some rivals support 50 W or even 65 W speeds, which will charge faster. If charging speed is your priority, you might consider those alternatives.

Crucially, as with all fast-charging systems, real-world results will vary depending on the charger you use, ambient temperature, battery health and whether you’re using the phone while charging. To get the best performance you’ll want a quality USB-C charger that supports 33 W and avoid heavy multitasking (gaming, video) during charging if possible.

For UK buyers, this means pairing the phone with a good charger (ideally 33 W or better) is advisable right from day one. Also consider using the original cable or one certified for fast charging to avoid slower speeds.

In summary: the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite offers fast-charging credentials that are above average for its class. While it won’t match ultra-fast flagship speeds, the 20-30 minute to half-charge is very useful in daily life and it’s more than adequate for most users in the UK market.

Essential Add-Ons for UK Buyers

When picking up the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite in the UK, having the right accessories from day one can make a big difference to protection, usability and long-term value. With its transparent design and 120Hz AMOLED display, the phone benefits from accessories that keep it safe while preserving its look. Several reliable options are already available for UK buyers across online and retail channels.

A solid protective case is the first essential purchase. The phone’s transparent back is prone to scratches if left uncovered, so choosing a clear or rugged case helps retain the iconic style while adding day-to-day durability. UK buyers can opt for slim TPU covers for minimal bulk or choose reinforced designs that offer stronger corner protection, especially useful for accidental drops.

A tempered-glass screen protector is equally important from the moment the phone is unboxed. The 120Hz AMOLED panel is one of the handset’s biggest strengths and protecting it ensures both longevity and better resale value in the UK market. High-quality tempered glass helps shield the screen from micro-scratches, impact damage and fingerprints without compromising display clarity.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite accessories you must buy day one

Since the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite does not include a charging brick in the box, a reliable USB-C charger is another day-one necessity. UK-certified fast-charging adapters ensure the phone can reach its full 33W charging capability. Picking an official or reputable third-party charger also helps avoid performance issues or battery wear over time, offering a safer, more efficient charging experience.

Having an extra USB-C to USB-C cable is helpful for most UK users who charge their devices in multiple locations such as home, office or car. Durable braided cables or official cables from Nothing tend to last longer and maintain stable charging speeds. A spare cable is particularly useful for commuters or frequent travellers.

For users planning to store a lot of media, a high-quality microSD card is an optional but highly useful add-on. With the Phone (3a) Lite supporting expansion up to 2TB, choosing a fast, reliable microSD card can significantly improve file transfers, app storage and media handling. UK buyers who shoot videos, download offline content or keep playlists stored locally will benefit most from this upgrade.

Wireless earbuds also make a good pairing with the new device. Nothing’s own Ear models match the phone’s design language and integrate neatly with its software features. Clear audio quality, stable Bluetooth performance and comfort during long listening sessions make them a practical addition for everyday use in the UK.

Protective pouches or sleeve cases are another accessory some users prefer, especially if they carry their phone in a bag. These provide scratch protection and cushion the device during travel. UK weather can be unpredictable, so a weather-resistant pouch is helpful for those who often commute in the rain.

A car mount is worth considering for users who rely on navigation while driving. Secure dashboard or air-vent mounts ensure the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite stays stable and visible without obstructing view. Pairing it with a quality fast-charging car adapter can keep the phone powered during long trips across the UK.

Cleaning kits or microfiber cloths are often overlooked but extremely useful. The transparent design of the phone tends to attract fingerprints, and keeping a small cleaning cloth ensures the handset maintains its polished look. Regular cleaning also helps reduce scratches caused by dirt or debris on the surface.

Overall, buying the right accessories on day one ensures the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite stays protected, performs at its best and retains value for future trade-in. UK buyers benefit most from investing early in a reliable case, tempered glass, fast charger and essential add-ons that complement daily use.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite for students: premium specs at student budget

Smart Choice for Students: Nothing Phone (3a) Lite

For students who want high-end features without the high-end price, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite presents a compelling option. With a budget-friendly tag and a specification set that rivals many more expensive models, it can serve as both a capable study companion and a stylish everyday smartphone. This article explores how well it fits student life.

The first standout is the pricing. Starting well under £300 in the UK, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite brings premium design and features into reach of a student budget. Instead of compromising on style or core functionality, it bridges the gap between entry-level phones and full-priced flagships—ideal for students looking for value without sacrificing looks or usability.

Screen quality matters when you’re reading lecture slides, reviewing notes, or streaming videos between classes. The 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate offers smooth visuals and sharp clarity. That means comfortable reading, enjoyable media playback and slicker multitasking—features often reserved for higher-priced phones.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite for students premium specs at student budget

Performance is another key area. With a modern mid-range chipset and 8 GB of RAM (with virtual RAM support), the phone handles multitasking, document editing, social apps and light gaming with ease. For students juggling study apps, browsers, music and video calls, this smooth operation helps avoid frustrating lag or slowdowns.

Battery life is a major concern for anyone on the go. The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 5,000 mAh battery that typically lasts a full day of mixed usage—lectures, library, social media, streaming and more. That means fewer worries about needing a charger between classes, and more focus on productivity and downtime.

Camera features may not top flagships, but for student needs they are solid. The 50 MP main lens captures details nicely, which is useful for snapping whiteboard notes, project work or social posts. The ultra-wide and macro lenses add creative flexibility, even if they aren’t perfect. For everyday use, they deliver good value in this price range.

On storage and connectivity, the base 128 GB of storage gives ample space for apps, files, media and study materials—important when juggling coursework, files and personal content. The inclusion of modern connectivity like 5G and WiFi 6 ensures the device is ready for collaborative online work, cloud syncing and streaming without compromise.

Design also plays a role in the student decision-making process. The distinctive look of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite—premium materials, sleek finish, standout styling—means you don’t have to sacrifice aesthetics for affordability. It’s the kind of phone you’re happy to carry and use confidently.

There are trade-offs to consider. Support for software updates may not match premium brands over many years, and the ultra-wide/macro cameras aren’t flagship-grade. The charging speed, while decent, might lag behind the fastest in the market. But for the student audience, these are acceptable compromises given the cost savings.

In conclusion, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite hits a sweet spot for students in the UK: premium-style design, strong display, dependable performance and all-day battery—all at a price that won’t break the budget. For those who want a capable phone without going premium price, it delivers a smart blend of features and value.

Entry-Level Nothing Offers Extra Flexibility

The long-rumoured Nothing Phone (3a) Lite has now officially been launched, delivering an unexpectedly strong feature set for a budget device. The announcement confirms a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth motion and a premium visual experience in this price segment.

Under the hood, the Phone (3a) Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset built on a 4nm process, anchored by 8GB of physical RAM with up to a further 8GB of virtual RAM for improved multitasking. One of the standout features is its microSD slot, supporting storage expansion up to 2TB—an increasingly rare offering in modern smartphones.

On the camera front the device includes a 50MP main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro unit, plus a 16MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The battery is rated at 5,000mAh and supports 33W wired fast-charging, promising solid endurance and a quick recharge when needed.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite specs leak 120Hz AMOLED and microSD slot

In terms of software, the Phone (3a) Lite runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 out of the box, and carries promises of three years of major Android updates plus six years of security patches—putting it on par with higher-end models in terms of longevity. Dual-5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a liquid-cooling system round out the connectivity and performance list.

Pricing in the UK has been confirmed at £249 for the 8GB + 128GB model and £279 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, with availability beginning from 29 October through Nothing’s official channels and select retail outlets. The base price places it squarely in the competitive sub-£300 market, with specs that punch above its tier.

For UK buyers looking for value, the inclusion of a 120Hz AMOLED panel and microSD expansion are genuine differentiators. Many rivals require you to pay more to get similar displays or ditch the expansion slot entirely. The transparent design styling and minimalist Glyph lighting also give it a distinctive look within its price range.

Of course, the real test will come in day-to-day performance, camera output and how the fast-charging and battery life hold up in real-world use. But on paper, the Phone (3a) Lite offers an excellent mix of features for the money and could well become a strong contender in the budget smartphone market.
