Introduction to Windows 11 Insider Beta Build 26220.9757
Microsoft has rolled out the latest Windows 11 Insider Beta build 26220.9757, which brings several improvements and new features to the operating system. This build is available for Windows Insiders who are part of the Beta channel. One of the key features of this build is the customizable File Explorer right-click menu, which allows users to personalize their experience. Additionally, the Settings home page has been revamped to provide quicker access to frequently used settings.
Customizable File Explorer Right-Click Menu
The customizable File Explorer right-click menu is a significant update in this build. Users can now add or remove items from the menu, making it more convenient to use. For example, users can add a shortcut to the Samsung Galaxy S25‘s file manager or the Apple Watch Series 10’s settings. This feature is particularly useful for users who frequently use their iPad Air M2 for file management.
Quicker Settings Home Page
The Settings home page has been redesigned to provide faster access to commonly used settings. Users can now quickly navigate to settings such as display, sound, and notifications. This update is similar to the quick settings feature found on the Samsung Galaxy S25 and other Android devices.
