How Long the Battery Lasts—Real-World Insights

When it comes to battery life, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra packs a serious punch. Users and lab data show that this device has an 11,600 mAh battery, with a rated minimum of 11,374 mAh. It supports 45W wired charging.

In video playback tests under ideal conditions, the Tab S11 Ultra delivers up to about 23 hours of continuous video, assuming default settings and audio through Bluetooth. Of course, actual performance will vary with screen brightness, network usage, and file format.

According to leaked energy-label data, under a mix of usage—including standby, light web browsing, etc.—the Tab S11 Ultra reaches roughly 94 hours and 50 minutes of battery life in certain tests. That’s a noticeable improvement over its predecessor.

One trade-off to note: while the battery life is very good, battery durability (how many full charge/discharge cycles before capacity drops below 80%) is rated lower than last year. The Tab S11 Ultra is rated for about 1,200 cycles, compared to previous models which claimed around 2,000 cycles.

Charging from zero to full with the 45W charger takes a bit of time. The increase in battery size is marginal over last year’s model, so despite improved efficiency, charging speed hasn’t dramatically improved.

Overall, in U.S. real-world usage where users mix video, browsing, light work, and standby time, the Tab S11 Ultra gives all-day performance easily, and often can stretch into two days depending on usage patterns.
