ipad 11 vs samsung galaxy tab S10 FE game play review

ipad 11 vs samsung galaxy tab S10 FE game play

This is the ultimate tablet war. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE versus the iPad 11. Both bring a lot to the table, but only one can stand out on top. We are breaking everything down from its design, performance, gaming, and even the stylus experience.

Productivity, thickness and it also features

I’ll be scoring them in each category. And by the end of this video, you’ll exactly know which tablet is more ideal for you based on your priorities. My name is Prit Viraj, and I create videos on productivity, tech, and life. Let’s tart by discussing the design of the two tablets. Both the tablets boast a very premium design.

However, Samsung offers something extra and that is the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. This makes it tougher for outdoor usage or accidental spills. We thankfully have a cellular variant for both the tablets. So, if you needed SIM card support, then both the tablets will have you covered. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE counters with a slightly slimmer profile at just 6 mm thickness and it also features an all aluminum design. The iPad 11 brings that classic all aluminium body with a thickness of 7 mm. Very Apple-like as usual.

The iPad 11 features the Touch ID on the power button, whereas we get both the fingerprint as well as face unlock on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. Visually, both the tablets are aesthetically pleasing. So, design-wise, you can’t really go wrong. But the durability factor gives the S10 FE a clear HO. It makes it most suitable for rugged usage. But for this round, I’d like to give a point each to both of the tablets. As I previously mentioned, as per looks, both of them are amazing. But Samsung gets a slight edge because of the IP68 rating.

Display colour and refresh rate

Now, let’s talk about the most important aspect of any tablet, and that is the display. The iPad 11 features an 11in liquid retina LCD display with a resolution of 1640 by 2360 pixels, but sadly, it only comes in at a display refresh rate of 60 Hz, and that’s really disappointing to be very honest. It also comes at a peak brightness of 500 nits. And here’s the kicker. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a display refresh rate of 90 Hz. But for this round, I will have to give a point to the Galaxy Tab S10 F as the higher refresh rate will give you a much smoother experience.

Hence, the entire experience will feel much more smoother in comparison with the iPad. Scrolling will feel fluid with smoother animations. And it also has a peak brightness of 800 nits in its high brightness mode, which is a lot brighter than the iPad 11 in comparison.

Overall, if you wanted a tablet for media consumption and binge watching your favorite shows on Netflix and YouTube, they both will excel in that aspect. You won’t really be facing any issues for that. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE brings a slight smaller display, features a 10.9 in LCD display with a resolution of 1440x 2304 pixels.

Sound quality of both

Speaking of media consumption, you won’t have a great time binge watching experience without great audio. Right, let’s talk about that right now. The iPad 11 is equipped with stereo speakers offering decent loudness and clarity. Apple tuning typically provides a balanced sound with clear mids and highs, making it great for casual media consumption.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a stereo speaker setup as well, thus delivering an immersive sound experience. While the iPad sound is good, Samsung offers a richer and a fuller audio output. It’s specifically noticeable when watching movies or gaming, and it’s also the louder among the two tablets. Not surprised as Samsung really nails its audio nicely. But now, the things are about to change. Hence, one point goes to the Galaxy S10 FE for the sound department.

Ram, storage and Performance test

Now, let’s get into the business end of the two tablets and let’s talk performance as this is where the things are going to change significantly. Under the hood, the iPad 11 is powered by the A16 Bionic chipset paired with 6 gigs of RAM. The Galaxy Dab S10 FE runs on Exynos 1580 chipset paired with 8 or 12 gigs of RAM depending on which variant you get. But in terms of raw performance, the iPad 11 simply outshines the Galaxy Dab S10 FE by mile. Here are the benchmarks on Geekbench in case you’re interested in that.

The A16 chipset on the iPad simply outclasses the Samsung tablet. And if you would like to edit videos on your tablet, then the iPad is of course the better option. It will handle that quite nicely. So, for this round, the iPad takes the point here based on its raw performance as it’s simply a beast in terms of that. Now, the software is a major battleground. The iPad 11 runs on iPad OS 18. whereas the Samsung tablet will definitely start to struggle when compared with the iPad. However, for editing photos, both the tablets will perform really well.

ipad 11 vs samsung galaxy tab S10 FE game play review
ipad 11 and samsung galaxy tab S10 FE

Apple’s iPad OS is optimized specifically for tablets, offering excellent multitasking features, a clean interface, and a long track record of software support over the years, and it simply feels much more polished. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE runs on a skinned version of Android 15, which is the 1 UI. Samsung’s 1 UI is extremely polished and tablet friendly with features like the Samsung desk mode which will convert your tablet into a desktop-l like interface.

The iPad 11 is supposed to receive a minimum of five major software upgrades, whereas Samsung claims a total of 7 years of software support. But this one stays a bit iffy, as in we don’t exactly know if it’s going to be 7 years of Android upgrades, or rather 4 years of Android upgrades followed by a few security patches.

Overall, for the software segment, I will have to give a point to the iPad for it richer and more optimized app ecosystem. Let’s get into the fun stuff now. But one of the biggest aspect in which the iPad OS almost performs better is in terms of the app support. Pro apps like Darini Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Procreate and others are only present on the iPad whereas all of them are missing on Android tablets like the Galaxy S10 FE.

Game play at max graphics settings

Gaming is where the iPad 11 flexes again. With the A16 chipset, you can comfortably run high-end games at high settings without major frame drops. The visuals are smooth and the game play is consistent. If gaming is important to you, this one is a beast. I tested out games like BGMI, Aspel, COD, and a few more. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE handles most casual games just fine. Games will run decently at medium settings, but it will of course start to struggle at max graphics settings.

However, one major advantage of the Galaxy S10 FE is that you will have a much smoother gameplay experience thanks to its 90 Hz display. The iPad 11 features a 12 MP rear camera as well as a 12P selfie camera. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a 13 MP rear camera and a 12 MP selfie camera.

But overall for the performance, the iPad 11 gets a point over here as the A16 in chipset is better at tackling high-end games and provides us with a better gaming experience.

Ipad 11 th gen vs xiaomi pad 7

Apple iPad 11th generation with A16 chip. And we have reviewed it on the 10th generation. But the starting variant is 64GB and after that straight 256GB. And a few days ago we made a video on Macbook Air M4, You saw it in that video. Base variant is 128GB. We got some bank offers on it. So, it’s a veryIpad 11 th gen vs xiaomi pad 7 value for money tablet.

We will compare whether Xiaomi Pad 7 is better or iPad. Or where both are better and which one you should buy. So, Box was opened in that video. Watch that video after this. And let’s talk about the variants. Here, 128GB is available in 11th generation. And Xiaomi Pad 7 also starts from 128GB.

Design and material use in this tablet

I am not going to talk about that. You can see that yourself. First of all, let’s talk about the beauty. If you look at the iPad of 10th and 11th generation, They are exactly the same. The text that is written on the iPad is not there in the new one. They have removed it for differentiation. The front, back, up and down are exactly the same. Even the color is the same. In the beginning, when I was looking at both, I couldn’t understand which one is 10th and which one is 11th. Then I saw a big difference. That is the text.

We compare it with Xiaomi Pad 7, both the tablets are good. There are 4 color options in iPad and 3 in Xiaomi Pad. In iPad, we get a pogo pin at the bottom. In Xiaomi Pad 7, it’s at the back. And yes, this pogo pin is used to connect external accessories. Let’s talk about that too. In terms of thickness, Xiaomi Pad 7 feels a little thin in comparison to iPad. Apart from that, we get buttons at the top and left. Both the tablets are premium. They are available in metal build. And the weight of both the tablets is around 500g.

Connectivity testing

On Xiaomi Pad 7, you can see this extra space to connect the stylus. You can charge it by connecting the stylus wirelessly. But in iPad, you will have to buy a wired one. One thing that is better in iPad is the Touch ID. The power button is a fingerprint scanner in which you can maintain security. But it is not available in Xiaomi Pad 7.

It was also available in Xiaomi Pad 6, It should have been available in Xiaomi Pad 7. On both the sides, there are speaker grills. But there is a catch, In Xiaomi Pad 7, If there are 4 grills so there are 4 speakers.

The power button is a fingerprint scanner in which you can maintain security. But it is not available in Xiaomi Pad 7. It was also available in Xiaomi Pad 6, It should have been available in Xiaomi Pad 7.

Speaker and sound quality test

there are 4 grills but there are only 2 speakers. The rest are vents for heat management. There is a Type-C port at the bottom. But there is a difference in the version. Both will work almost the same. But yes, Xiaomi Pad 7 wins here. And there is no IP rating in both the tablets. Now coming on to the accessories, First of all, iPad. you can buy another iPad in this You can buy third-party accessories from Amazon.

In iPad, we get 2.0 but you can still take the display output up to 4K 30, 1080P 60. But in Xiaomi Pad 7, there is a 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. Which means you can take the display output up to 4K 60FPS, Which is very good for live streaming. Normally, if you want to take online classes or if you are showing a presentation.

If you want to buy Apple Pencil, You will get it for Rs 8,000. The first-generation one which is not wireless is charged through Type-C. In terms of accessories, Xiaomi Pad is better. It has wireless charging. Palm rejection is available in both the styluses. And both the styluses are good. Coming to the speakers, Xiaomi Pad 7 is the clear winner. It has quad speakers, stereo separation is good. You get Dolby Atmos in both the devices.

If you are using Dolby compatible headphones or speakers through your tablet, You get full output. And both the tablets don’t have haptics. The sound is loud & clear. There is no jump in speakers from iPad 10th to 11th generation. As it is, you get the same speakers. According to me, it should’ve been there for calling. If you are typing on the keyboard, Haptics should be there and they may come in next generation.

Display texture and smoothness

The most important part is the display. In terms of protection, Apple didn’t tell anything. But Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. But still, Tablets are very wide. It depends on how it falls.

There is a big difference. We get LCD display in both the devices. And there is a difference in resolution. iPad has 2360 x 1640, But Xiaomi Pad 7 is better. there are more chances of breaking compared to a smartphone. Screen size difference is there, iPad is 10.9 inches, Xiaomi Pad 7 is 11.2 inches. It has 3200 x 2136. But there is a difference in aspect ratio. iPad is 4:3, But Xiaomi Pad is 3:2. You get black bars in both the devices. If you see 16:9 content on YouTube, But these tablets are better in terms of productivity and reading. Multimedia doesn’t feel that good. Talking about refresh rate, iPad has 60 Hz.

iPad Pro M4 gets a huge UK Black Friday discount

iPad Pro M4 gets a huge UK Black Friday discount

Strong Seasonal Savings Arrive for Apple’s Premium Tablet

The iPad Pro M4 has entered the UK Black Friday period with one of its most notable price drops since launch, giving shoppers a rare chance to buy Apple’s top-tier tablet at a reduced cost. Retailers across the country have begun applying direct discounts ahead of the main sale weekend, making this one of the standout tech deals this season.

Apple’s own shopping event typically offers gift cards rather than immediate markdowns, so the most meaningful reductions this year are coming from major UK retailers. Early price cuts have already appeared on popular configurations, with savings applied at checkout instead of bundled promotions. This approach has drawn strong interest from buyers waiting for straightforward price drops.

The iPad Pro M4 remains Apple’s most capable tablet to date, powered by the M4 chip that delivers significant gains in graphics and performance. Its ultra-thin design, advanced display and pro-level capabilities continue to appeal to creative professionals, students and power users looking for long-term reliability. The current discounts enhance its value in a market where premium tablets rarely see large cuts.

iPad Pro M4 gets a huge UK Black Friday discount

UK buyers are paying close attention to stock levels, as some colour options and higher-capacity models tend to sell out quickly during Black Friday week. Retail data from previous years suggests that early reductions often generate the fastest sell-through, particularly for the 11-inch variants. This has encouraged many shoppers to make early decisions rather than waiting for the final days of the sale.

The timing of the discount also aligns with wider seasonal buying trends, as many households and professionals upgrade devices before the new year. With other flagship tablets holding firm on pricing, the iPad Pro M4 stands out as one of the few high-end models receiving a meaningful cut, positioning it strongly in the UK’s competitive electronics market.

Shoppers considering the purchase are advised to double-check storage configurations, as pricing differences between 256GB and 512GB models can be significant even after discounts. Connectivity options such as Wi-Fi versus cellular also affect the final price, making it important to compare listings carefully before checking out.

Industry analysts expect the current round of discounts to continue through the main Black Friday weekend, but deeper reductions are not guaranteed. The iPad Pro line historically maintains steady pricing, so the present offers may represent the best balance of availability and savings before the holiday period concludes.

For buyers who rely on their tablets for design, editing, productivity or entertainment, the iPad Pro M4 remains a robust choice. The latest software updates and ongoing app optimisation further strengthen its long-term usefulness, adding more appeal to the current Black Friday offers.

As the shopping season intensifies, the iPad Pro M4’s UK discount stands as one of the most significant premium tech deals available. With performance, longevity and build quality at the top of its strengths, the reduced price gives UK consumers a compelling reason to upgrade while stock and savings last.

iPad Air M2 Gaming Test

iPad Air M2 Gaming Test on high setting

The iPad Air M2 supports demanding games like Resident Evil Village, Bgmi and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the 720 p equivalent resolutions and limited native game. mean it cannot fully compete with equivalent-priced Windows gaming laptops.

We tested COD Warzone on high settings

This is also a very demanding game. Here, the preset was showing custom. The peak was our visual quality. In which all other settings are high. And we uncapped the FPS target.

There shouldn’t be any lag in FPS. And surprisingly, we were getting a 30-40 FPS experience. Because it’s a very powerful device. After playing for a long time, we didn’t get any drop. Then I reduced the settings high to the lowest. And after that we were getting stable 65 FPS. Sometimes, there was a drop. And when you play on such a big screen with low settings, It feels like you are playing a game on a 720 P screen. The playable FPS remains, but the visual quality drops. And this game is a bit unoptimized.

We tested Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Then we tested Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The graphics quality was showing by default medium. And we were getting stable 30 FPS. Just like console type of gaming which we get in PS4. It was a similar experience. But I can say that I didn’t like the resolution. It was giving a 720 P type of feeling. Because I have played this game on PC. It definitely looks great in it. But yes, I can say that the gaming performance of iPad Air M2 is good.

If you want to do color accuracy tasks like photo editing, video editing And color grading

It’s a 11 inches Liquid Retina Display. It’s a heavy word that Apple uses. By the way, the resolution is 2360×1640. It’s an IPS display. And the ratio is 3-2. And if you look at the content in multimedia, You get very big black bars. Because most of the content is 16:9. But when you play games, it is automatically optimized according to the resolution. And the refresh rate is 60 Hz. No matter how much you criticize, They say we won’t give you more. You will have to buy Pro Tablets for better refresh rate. Spend more money.

We tested the color gamut, it was 99 % S RGB, 73% Adobe RGB, 73% P3 and 68% NTSC. If you check Apple’s website, they have written P3 wide color gamut. But wide is like 100% P3. But in the testing, we got 76% P3. But the colors of the display are good. If you want to do color accuracy tasks like photo editing, video editing, it won’t disappoint you. We also tested the brightness. All time brightness is around 381 nits. It can touch up to 560 nits according to different content.

iPad Air M2 pencil test
iPad Air M2

That you are watching on different multimedia platforms like if you are watching HDR content, The display brightness can be pushed. Display brightness is ok. It’s not too good. It’s not a problem, if you use it indoors. But it’s a problem, if you use it outdoors as it’s a reflective screen. And you will need a shed as it’s not usable in extreme sunlight. It also has anti-reflective coating as compared to any other normal tablet.

Reflections are different on it. You can see it in B-Roll. They are taking a lot of money for it. But it’s an anti-reflective display. How much will it be useful for people? Because when a person buys an expensive iPad, he will put a display on it. Lights are not visible on it as they are visible on a normal display. So it’s a problem if you use it outdoors. But it’s not as bad as other tablets.

About the audio experience and watch content on different OTT applications

After tempered, The reflection is as it is. So keep this in mind. It’s a multi-touch display. So you can use it with 2-5,10 fingers. You can use it with any type of content. It has Dolby Vision and HDR10 +. If you want to watch video content, you will get HDR support. It supports up to 1080 P content on other OTT applications. YouTube supports 4K 60 HDR. It also supports Dolby Vision on Netflix. And YouTube supports 4K 60 HDR. Let’s talk about the audio experience. It has dual speakers.

Now you will say it has 4 grills, Only 2 of them are for sound, Rest 2 for ventilation. So you get dual speakers here But you will get an idea of the quality of the speakers once you put on the headphones. The loudness is above average. The sound is clear and there is thump. It is not very loud You can feel the stereo separation on the left & right. It won’t disappoint or amaze you.

I tested it with another charger. To see if it consume more than 20W. It doesn’t go higher than 20W It charges from 0% to 100% in 2 hours on time. Which is a good time

Its Neural Engine is very good compared to any other Android Smartphone or Android Tablet. You can judge from the numbers. Antutu Benchmark has a score of 1.8 million. Geekbench scores are also very good.

In this, you can make a frame by frame sketch & animate it

If they are charging money for the performance, then its chips are very expensive. And this is because of its performance. Because you can bring a lot of productive apps in it. In Pro create, you can work according to the advanced level layers. People use create for sketching. For this, they specifically go to the iPad. Pro create also has Procreate Animate. In this, you can make a frame by frame sketch & animate it. There are different color palettes, advanced brushes. Those who do sketching or those who want to do it, they would have understood. iPad is used the most in this. And as it has M.2 chip is used, then it will work very well.

ipad Air 11 inch M2 Gaming Test
ipad Air 11 inch M2

I am saying it will work because we didn’t test in this. We don’t have any sketch artist who can test at such an advanced level. But if you watch videos online, who have tested in this. Specifically, according to their profession, then you will get an idea. We tried to run the productivity applications as per our requirement. For example, kine master was giving a very good experience.

If you want to do day to day tasks, You can use it for multimedia

We get DaVinci Resolve in this. You can run Photoshop, Lightroom. You can also run Adobe Premiere Rush. There is no lag in performance. I am telling you according to productivity. If you want to do day to day tasks, You can use it for multimedia, it is really good. Animation is good. You get Apple’s butter smooth animations. You can run many applications side by side. But yes, Apple’s RAM management works in a some different way. If you are uploading an post in an application, And you minimize it and do something else. You won’t know when the application will stop in the background. This is not just the case of iPad, it happens in iPhone too. If you don’t want to go to Macbook, This can also be a very productive tablet for photo and video editing. And if you want to run music production applications.

That’s why I am back to S24 Ultra from iPhone 16 Pro. S25 Ultra is also coming. For video editing, most people use Final Cut Pro. Which we also get for iPadOS. For that, iPad is the most famous for advanced level video editing. If you bought 128 GB and if you want to do editing for big projects. Then you don’t have to any load. You can do editing through external storage. In Da Vinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. There are different types of support in different softwares like kine master. I was checking in Filmora. Any external SSD was not supported. If you want to connect other screen, You can connect a keyboard mouse with Bluetooth. You can make a full desktop setup and work on it.

When tested Call of Duty Mobile. it has getting max framerate on all settings

You get Logic Pro for iPad. And if you get GarageBand, then you can do music production on this thin machine. The true power of iPad, Productive users. And in all productivity applications, If you want to use a pencil for art, Then it is a cherry on the cake. And when it comes to performance, Have a look at the game test as well First of all.

I tested Call of Duty Mobile. I was getting max framerate on all settings. So I tested max on max. Which means 60 FPS. Because it has a 60 Hz display And this game is not that demanding. It was running smoothly. Then I tested BGMI. I was getting extreme from smooth to HDR. So I tested extreme on HDR. And on HDR extreme, I got stable 60 FPS. These games are not that heavy. So you don’t need to think much

We made the graphics quality on highest in BGMI

Then I tested BGMI Impact. I made the graphics quality on highest. And I was getting up to 120 FPS. Whereas, this is a 60Hz display. So even if you select 120, you get 60 FPS. And I was getting smooth stable 60 FPS. It has M.2. I wasn’t getting any FPS drop. Obviously, there is no FPS meter here. But I can tell you after playing. Then we tested Resident Evil Village. Which is natively launched for M.2 chipset. Other settings were off & medium. You can consider it as medium to low settings. And yes, we were getting playable smooth FPS. It can be said that it has 55 – 60 FPS. If we change the settings on high, we can still more enjoy it. Obviously, it’s a very powerful machine.

iPad 11 vs Galaxy Tab S9 FE plus

iPad 11 or Galaxy Tab S9 FE plus

Two amazing tablets, but which one is the ultimate choice? The Samsung Galaxy Tab S90 Plus or the new iPad 11. And if you’re trying to choose between the two tablets. So don’t miss this artical as today we are breaking everything down from its design, performance, and gaming and even the stylus experience. I will be scoring them in each category.

Design and look of iPad 11 and Galaxy Tab S9 FE plus

Starting with the design, the iPad 11 plays it extremely safe. Apple has gone with the exact same design as they have used for a couple of years now. An all aluminum body with flat edges and the Touch ID on the power button. It’s lightweight, minimal, and very Appleike. But if you are hoping for something new visually, then this one might feel a bit stale, especially if you’re coming from an older iPad model.

I must say it still feels premium and easy to carry around. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S90 Plus takes things a notch higher. First off, the build is solid. It’s made of aluminium as well, but comes with an IP68 rating, which means it’s more rugged and ready for outdoor usage. We also get a micro SD card slot here. That’s a very added bonus and also a magnetic slot at the back for the SPEN.

Samsung includes the SPEN right out of the box, which is a huge win for budget conscious users. We will be talking about the S Pen a little bit later. But for this segment, I would like to give a point each to both the tablets for their design that is as this one will always come down to your personal taste.

Display of both models

Move on to what probably matters the most in a tablet, and that is the display. The iPad 11 features an 11 in liquid retina IPS display with a resolution of 1640 by 2360 pixels. The display is sharp, vibrant, and works really well for binge watching. During my flights, I watched quite a bit of Netflix. And honestly, the viewing experience was excellent.

It still has a display refresh rate of 60 Hz, which really makes me sad to be very honest. In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S9 F Plus brings a 12.4 4 in LCD panel with a resolution of 1,600 by 2560 pixels. It’s slightly bigger and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This makes animations and scrolling feel noticeably smoother, Of course, it’s not AMOLED like Samsung’s higherend tablets, but at this price, it’s a great display. Colorful, sharp, and perfect for watching Netflix or YouTube. But overall, whichever tablet you pick, you are going to have a great experience binge watching your favorite content. The iPad 11 features stereo speakers and they are quite decent.

It’s also a lot brighter when compared with the iPad 11. The 90 Hz refresh rate makes a difference in day-to-day usage, especially if you’re someone who hates laggy UI interactions. So for the display segment, the Galaxy Tab S9 F+ Plus takes a point this round hands down. The smoother display with 90 Hz refresh rate makes the difference over here.

You get good clarity and loudness and it’s totally fine for watching videos or casual gaming. The sound has that warmth that I often look for. The Galaxy Tab S9 F+ on the other hand comes with AKG tuned stereo speakers that also support Dolby Atmos. These are actually pretty immersive. It’s clear with decent bass and a wider sound stage. Whether I was watching a movie or listening to music, the sound felt much more immersive and enjoyable. Also, it’s louder among the two tablets with rich audio experience.

Ram and other freatures diffrents

One point goes to the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus. No surprises here as Samsung nails audio on tablets every time. Also, we are super close to hitting 100K subs on this channel. So, I would really appreciate if you could consider hitting that subscribe button. Now, let’s get into the business end of the two tablets. When it comes to the performance, this is where the iPad 11 finally shows its strength. It comes with the A16 Bionic chipset paired with 6 gigs of RAM, and this thing is really powerful. Everything from launching apps to editing videos feels snappy. Multitasking is buttery smooth.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus features Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6, 8, or 12 gigs of RAM, depending on which variant you get. Now, it’s definitely not on par with Apple’s A16 in terms of raw performance, but in my case, it handled day-to-day tasks quite fine. It’s not built for heavy lifting, but for most users, it will get the job done without any complaint.

Performance wise compare who is winner

Here are the benchmark scores on Geekbench of both the tablets. And as you can see, the iPad 11 simply performs a lot better. If you wanted to edit videos on either of the two tablets, they both can handle basic 1080 projects with ease. But both the tablets will start to struggle the moment we switch to 4K videos. Overall, this round clearly goes to the iPad 11. The 16 Bionic chipset is much more powerful and also future proof. Also, the Galaxy S10 FE is around the corner. I will surely make an updated video when I get my hands onto that tablet.

Software performance of both

Talking about the software, it basically comes down to your personal preference here. The iPad 11 runs on iPad OS 18. It’s clean, fluid, and optimized beautifully. The Dab S950 Plus runs on 1 UI which is a skinned version of Android 14 and Samsung’s 1 UI has really matured over the years. It’s a much more polished app ecosystem. You get access to tons of apps that are only available on the iPad OS and not on Android tablets. Procreate apps like Final Cut Pro, Darin Resolve, Procreate, and a few more are only available on the iPad.

Retailers push aggressive Black Friday deals as demand surges nationwide

UK retailers are rolling out some of their strongest Black Friday offers yet on the iPhone 17, triggering a sharp rise in demand across major high streets and online platforms. Shoppers looking to upgrade have been met with a wider-than-usual range of contract bundles and incentives, many of which are being snapped up within hours of going live. Stores say this year’s surge reflects a mix of early promotions and strong interest in Apple’s latest model.

Networks have introduced competitive monthly plans that lower the upfront cost of owning the iPhone 17, allowing buyers to spread payments more comfortably. These plans often include sizeable data allowances and limited-time bonuses aimed at attracting new customers. Retailers report that these bundles are proving especially popular among those upgrading from older iPhone models.

The availability of trade-in promotions has further fuelled demand, with some networks offering enhanced credits for devices in good condition. UK shoppers who typically delay upgrades are finding these schemes increasingly appealing, especially with carriers promising pre-Christmas delivery. Analysts say the mix of contract value and improved trade-ins is a key driver of this year’s activity.

Retail stores have noted that while SIM-free price drops remain modest, the overall value of Black Friday deals is much stronger when bundled incentives are included. Many customers are prioritising combined savings rather than focusing solely on headline discounts. Staff report steady queues across several regions, particularly during evening shopping periods.

Online retailers are seeing similar trends, with traffic spikes leading to temporary slowdowns during peak hours. Some platforms have introduced additional live stock updates to help customers navigate fast-changing availability. Buyers looking for specific colours or storage sizes are being advised to act quickly to avoid missing out.

The iPhone 17’s widespread appeal in the UK is playing a central role in the rush. Improvements in performance, battery life and camera capabilities have made it the preferred upgrade option for many. Retailers say these enhancements, combined with Black Friday incentives, are drawing in a broad range of shoppers from students to professionals.

Higher-end models like the iPhone 17 Pro are also attracting attention, though they tend to rely more on premium trade-in offers. Analysts say this reflects the price sensitivity of UK consumers, who weigh monthly plan commitments carefully. Most buyers continue to view the standard iPhone 17 as the best-value choice in the current lineup.

Delivery firms have warned that volume increases during the Black Friday period may slow down some shipments. Retailers are encouraging shoppers to take advantage of click-and-collect options to avoid delays. Despite the pressure, most stores say they expect to meet delivery targets for orders placed early in the sale period.

With demand showing no signs of easing, retailers are preparing for stock shortages on certain models as the week progresses. Industry experts believe the strong start to Black Friday trading indicates a record season for smartphone sales. UK shoppers are advised to monitor deals closely, as updated offers are being released throughout the day.

The combination of competitive contracts, trade-in incentives and seasonal urgency has created one of the most active Black Friday cycles in recent years. As UK buyers continue to pursue the best deals, the iPhone 17 is expected to remain at the centre of the rush. Retailers are working to keep shelves stocked and ensure customers receive their devices in time for the festive season.

iQOO Neo 11 could challenge Samsung’s dominance in the German Android market

iQOO Neo 11 could challenge Samsung’s dominance in the German Android market

German analysts see shifting buyer psychology in mid-premium segment

The growing discussion around the expected iQOO Neo 11 is now extending beyond basic curiosity and moving into a strategic question for Germany’s Android landscape: could this upcoming device begin to seriously pressure Samsung’s grip on the mid-premium category? Samsung traditionally holds strong share in Germany, especially through its Galaxy A-series and its lower flagship tiers, but recent German tech conversations reflect a mood shift. Many buyers have become more performance-focused, more research-driven, and more willing to consider performance brands that offer aggressive hardware for less money than typical mainstream flagships.

One of the reasons the Neo 11 topic is trending in Germany is the way the smartphone market has evolved during the past two cycles. German Android buyers have increasingly shown signs of fatigue toward incremental upgrades that do not dramatically change battery endurance, display smoothness or real-world gaming performance. This conditions the landscape in a way that benefits a performance-centred phone. Analysts in Germany often describe this mid-premium category as the most volatile part of the market, because brand loyalty is weakest here and conversion from one brand to another is easier if value is strong enough.

Another layer in this conversation is the type of consumer that the Neo lineup naturally appeals to. Historically, iQOO’s designs have leaned toward high refresh displays, cooling efficiency, and high-end chipsets. German gaming communities have been one of the strongest drivers of early social-media buzz around the Neo 11, because sustained frame rates are one of the biggest real-world experiences gamers compare across brands. Samsung’s mid-premium devices have been generally considered balanced, but not performance-dominant. This opens the door for a performance brand to make a mark, especially if pricing is positioned below top-tier flagships while offering similar experience in daily speed and latency.

iQOO Neo 11 could challenge Samsung’s dominance in the German Android market

German market watchers also see potential brand disruption if the Neo 11 enters the region with competitive pricing. The German consumer base in this segment is not passive. They compare long-term software stability, refresh behavior, heat output under gaming, and camera consistency under mixed lighting conditions. If a performance device delivers aggressively in several of those categories at once, the risk for Samsung is not abandonment of the brand entirely, but rather the slow erosion of loyalty from younger, gaming-leaning buyers who value pure speed more than brand familiarity.

Timing is another major variable. The German Android market is currently in a phase where many consumers are delaying upgrades until something feels like a clear leap rather than a small step. This environment increases opportunity for newcomers because cost-value becomes a bigger factor. When breakthrough-style devices appear, they can reset expectations fast. German analysts repeatedly mention that this market shifts in waves, and these waves are almost always triggered by real-world performance narratives rather than marketing campaigns alone.

However, even with the growing conversation, Samsung is not in immediate jeopardy. Its network support, retail presence, update track record and brand trust remain extremely strong in Germany. For the Neo 11 to challenge dominance, it would require both competitive distribution decisions and consistent post-launch support. German buyers care about sustained performance over time, not just launch-day benchmark strength. But the very fact that analysts and enthusiasts are openly questioning whether Samsung could face a challenger in this particular segment suggests that market conditions are unusually receptive to disruption.

For now, the broader trend within Germany is that buyers appear more open to trying alternatives when those alternatives promise higher value for money and a performance feel that matches the premium category. If the Neo 11 arrives at the right price, with strong local compatibility and competitive performance, it could influence this mid-premium category in a meaningful way. The question is no longer whether Samsung has the reach to defend the segment. The question becoming louder in Germany’s tech scene is whether a performance-focused newcomer might finally have enough firepower to shift buyer expectations during the upcoming cycle.

iQOO Neo 11 could shake up Australia’s mid-premium smartphone market

iQOO Neo 11 could shake up Australia’s mid-premium smartphone market

iQOO’s latest model may redefine value for Australian buyers

The upcoming iQOO Neo 11 is generating major excitement across Australia’s smartphone community. With leaks suggesting a blend of flagship-level performance and an affordable price tag, the device is being hailed as a potential game-changer in the mid-premium category. Australian consumers, who often seek high-end features without paying flagship prices, are watching this launch closely.

Reports indicate that the iQOO Neo 11 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it one of the most powerful phones in its class. This chip promises excellent performance for gaming, multitasking, and long-term efficiency. For Australian users, who rely heavily on their smartphones for work, entertainment, and gaming, such power at a mid-range cost could be a strong draw.

Battery life and charging capabilities are another area where the iQOO Neo 11 is expected to shine. Leaks suggest a massive 7,500mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging support. This means Australian users can expect full-day power with minimal downtime — an important factor for those who travel, stream, or game on the go.

The display and design upgrades are also turning heads. The Neo 11 reportedly comes with a 6.8-inch 2K OLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and vivid color reproduction. Combined with a durable metal frame and IP68 or IP69K certification, the phone promises both style and resilience, aligning perfectly with Australia’s outdoor and active lifestyle.

In terms of pricing, leaks from Asia hint at a starting price of around 2,500 Yuan, which roughly converts to about $350 in U.S. dollars. Even with potential import markups, this could position the Neo 11 as one of the best-value phones in Australia’s mid-premium range. If true, it could pressure competitors like Samsung, OnePlus, and Google to reassess their pricing strategies.

Market experts suggest that iQOO could use the Neo 11 to strengthen its international presence, with Australia being a key target market. The device’s rumored combination of cutting-edge specs, gaming optimization, and durability could attract both tech enthusiasts and casual users seeking top performance without a flagship price.

However, it’s important to note that these details remain unofficial until iQOO’s global announcement. Differences in features, pricing, and network compatibility could still occur before the Australian release. Even so, the current leaks have set strong expectations for a launch that might reshape the mid-tier smartphone competition.

If the iQOO Neo 11 lives up to its hype, it could easily become one of the most desirable smartphones of 2025 in Australia. By delivering high-end hardware, exceptional battery life, and flagship-grade display quality at a mid-range cost, iQOO may have found the perfect formula to disrupt Australia’s mid-premium market and win over a new wave of value-focused buyers.

iQOO Neo 11 could reshape Germany’s value-flagship segment this year

iQOO Neo 11 could reshape Germany’s value-flagship segment this year

German tech analysts evaluate how new performance positioning may shift buyer expectations

German smartphone analysts are increasingly discussing the possibility that the upcoming iQOO Neo 11 could become a major force in reshaping the mid-premium or “value-flagship” smartphone space this year. This category is one of the most closely watched areas in Germany’s Android market because it targets buyers who want high-tier performance and modern capability without paying full flagship-grade prices. The Neo 11’s rumored specifications, combined with strategic pricing expectations, are creating early anticipation that this device could redefine what buyers expect from this price band.

Germany’s smartphone audience is especially sensitive to price-to-performance calculation, and this region has seen multiple cycles in which users ignore flashy marketing claims in favor of real-world value. When a device offers genuine speed improvements, stronger endurance or more capable display technology for a lower cost, the reaction can be immediate. The Neo 11 topic fits into this mindset because German discussions emphasize that this model might not just match typical mid-premium devices but potentially exceed them in several mission-critical areas that matter in daily use.

German tech communities are also paying attention to the shift in buyer psychology that has taken shape over the past year. Many consumers in this category are delaying upgrades until they see meaningful improvement. Incremental changes in camera processing or small battery enhancements are no longer enough to trigger mass interest. A device, however, that brings near-flagship responsiveness, competitive display quality, upgraded endurance, and more robust connectivity could generate a stronger motivation to upgrade sooner rather than later. That perceived leap factor is part of what is feeding the Neo 11’s early narrative.

iQOO Neo 11 could reshape Germany’s value-flagship segment this year

Another dynamic shaping expectations is that Germany’s value-flagship category has lacked disruptive entries recently. The country has seen many refresh cycles dominated by consistency instead of transformation. When devices deliver only predictable, moderate advancement, a certain segment of buyers shifts into “wait mode,” which slows down replacement cycles. A performance-centered newcomer with broader feature capability could change that rhythm. The Neo 11’s presence in rumor cycles is therefore arriving at a moment when anticipation for a clear jump is unusually high.

German analysts also highlight that the Neo lineup has historically been performance-leaning, which already gives the Neo 11 a foundation of early credibility in discussions. For the value-flagship space, sustained frame rate capability, thermal stability under load and smooth display behavior can create immediate separation from devices that focus more on balanced middle-range hardware. If the Neo 11 maintains a strong performance identity while expanding into broader use cases, the device could carve a more mainstream path than its predecessors.

At the same time, Germany’s market watchers stress that the long-term success of a value-flagship candidate depends on more than raw silicon horsepower. Endurance, battery consistency through a full day of mixed use, stable software behavior over multiple cycles and practical reliability in daily routines play a major role. German buyers do not typically chase performance for novelty. They track whether a device still feels fast and dependable after months of usage. If the Neo 11 can meet those reliability expectations beyond benchmark claims, it could shift perception not just among performance-driven enthusiasts but also among typical value-focused buyers.

Timing also strengthens this possibility. The German Android segment is entering a cycle of elevated scrutiny where buyers want improvements that make devices feel fresh and more resilient toward coming network updates and new content standards. If the Neo 11 positions itself at a price that stays below traditional flagship floors while delivering clear performance-tier advancement, it could force established brands to adjust their own mid-premium strategies. That kind of price pressure combined with elevated performance expectations is exactly what has reshaped value tiers in past cycles in Germany.

For now, expectations remain tied to leaked performance direction and early market speculation. But the underlying momentum in German discussions signals something more than curiosity. It reflects a market that is actively waiting for a new benchmark in what a value-flagship should deliver. If the Neo 11 provides the mixture of speed, efficiency, longevity and modern features that German buyers now demand, it could shift buyer standards and reshape how this segment defines value during the year ahead.

The screen will likely support HDR10+ and peak brightness levels exceeding 1600 nits, offering crisp, vibrant visuals suitable for media consumption and gaming. For German users accustomed to high-quality displays, this could be one of the most compelling aspects of the Neo 11.

Camera specifications include a dual-lens setup featuring a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front will house a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Insiders suggest that iQOO has improved its image processing algorithms for better low-light photography, an area where previous Neo models occasionally lagged behind their flagship rivals.

The Neo 11’s endurance and charging capabilities are also expected to stand out. It will likely come with a 7,500mAh battery and 100W wired fast charging support, capable of charging from 0 to 80% in just 20 minutes. Additionally, the device is rumored to carry IP68 and IP69 certification, offering resistance against water and dust—making it suitable for the European climate and lifestyle.

Software-wise, the iQOO Neo 11 will run Android 16 with the company’s OriginOS 6 skin. The interface promises a refined visual experience, smoother transitions, and enhanced power optimization. The software is expected to include AI-based performance tuning, ensuring balanced resource allocation for multitasking and gaming.

If the leaks prove accurate, iQOO could announce the Neo 11’s European and German release by late winter 2025. Market experts believe the pricing could start under €700, making it one of the most competitively priced phones with flagship-grade hardware. As anticipation builds, the early arrival of the iQOO Neo 11 could strengthen the brand’s foothold in Germany, offering a powerful alternative to costlier flagship smartphones in the market.
