In 2025, Nothing company has launched two new smartphones in its budget segment – Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. Both the phones are known for their unique glyph interface, clean software experience and premium design.

Both the phones have the company’s signature transparent back design
Both the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro phones have the company’s signature transparent back design. Both models have a glyph interface that communicates through lights for notifications, charging status and other functions.
However, the 3a Pro has slightly better build quality in which an aluminum frame has been used while the 3a has a polycarbonate frame. The 3a Pro comes with an IP54 rating which gives it better protection from dust and water splashes, while the 3a has no official IP rating.
6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display
The Nothing Phone 3a has a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. This display can reach a peak brightness of 1100 nits which is sufficient for outdoor use.
On the other hand, the Nothing Phone 3a Pro has a slightly larger 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is up to 1300 nits which makes the content even better readable in sunlight. Both the displays have HDR10+ support which shows streaming content in great quality.
Performance and Processor
The Nothing Phone 3a is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 2 processor which gives enough performance for daily use and mid-level gaming. This phone is available in 6GB / 8GB RAM variants and comes with 128 GB storage.
The Nothing Phone 3a Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor which is quite powerful. It can easily handle heavy games and multitasking. This phone is available in 8GB / 12GB RAM variants and comes with 128GB / 256GB storage options.
Camera Quality and Photography
The Nothing Phone 3a has a dual camera setup which includes a 50 MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. This camera setup can capture good quality photos for daily use, especially in good lighting conditions.
Nothing Phone 3a Pro also has a 50 MP main sensor but it has a 16MP ultrawide sensor which takes better quality photos than 3a. Apart from this, some additional camera features like Night Mode 2.0 and Pro Monochrome mode are also given in 3a Pro.
Battery and Charging
Nothing Phone 3a has a 4500 mAh battery which supports 33 W fast charging. This battery can last a whole day in normal use.
Nothing Phone 3a Pro has a slightly larger 4700 mAh battery which supports 45 W fast charging. Apart from this, 3a Pro also supports wireless charging whereas this feature is not given in 3a.
