There is no jump in speakers from iPad 10th to 11th generation. As it is, you get the same speakers. According to me, it should’ve been there for calling. The most important part is the display. In terms of protection, Apple didn’t tell anything. But Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. But still, Tablets are very wide. It depends on how it falls.
