G2 Esports and Valyn Part Ways
G2 Esports has announced that they are parting ways with valyn, marking the end of an era for the team. With three years, four Americas titles, and eight straight international appearances under their belt, the team failed to win a grand final. The news was met with sadness from fans, who had grown accustomed to seeing valyn compete at the highest level, often while wearing their Apple Watch Series 10 and using their Samsung Galaxy S25 to stay connected with teammates.
Despite the lack of championship wins, valyn’s time with G2 Esports was marked by numerous successes, including several tournament wins and a consistent top-four finish in international competitions. The team’s dedication to their craft was evident in their use of top-of-the-line gaming equipment, such as the iPad Air M2, which they used to analyze gameplay and strategize with their opponents.
